Best human instructor video Ever!! Did not bother with the manual. Highlighted points of friction were exactly the areas you problem solved. Done in 30 mins by myself and I'm 4'10 " tall. Did the assembly on its side. So much easier than building upright. I literally kicked all the parts into place. A plus with ur side skit humor. Thumbs up.
I have to THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video, I was stuck trying to push the lock lever into place and I used my boxcutter like yours and it worked great! Also sliding the doors into the holes was easy! This is my new Potting Closet for all my gardening and potting needs! And I'm a 58 year old woman but I just don't have the strength (thank you carpal tunnel!) to do stuff, but I managed to build this cabinet all by myself today and it was easy peasy with your help with the tough spots, so thanks!
I am loving the way you describe every little detail of the installation process to take the confusion out of the step by step system that I used to put together my own installation process!! Thank you so very much dude, PEACE, keep up this kind of content.🎉😂
Hey Peter, I just wanted to say thanks for the video. I actually watched your video before I put my mega tall Suncast cabinet together. Your tips were extremely helpful. Normally I would’ve gotten frustrated at some of the points during installation, however because you had pointed them out in your video, it made it so much easier. So I just wanted to say thank you.
Hello Peter, I made the same cabinet about a year ago with no problem. However, my second cabinet I had a problem with the top middle section not fitting in. Your tip with a quick punch in the inside worked like a charm. Thank you
very nice job on the video - I did notice you were able to put everything together nicely without using a rubber mallet. I’ve put together a couple of the 40” H cabinets and the mallet helped me.
Thank you for the video! I assembled my cabinet yesterday with no problem, but those dang top and bottom latches were giving me fits. You described how to do it so perfectly!
Omg! Your video was a life saver. Watched your video and pause it at every step. If it wasn’t for you, it wouldn’t have been so easy. Did it by myself just under 30 min. Thank you thank you!!
great step by step video! my MEGA TALL storage unit arrived yesterday and I'll be putting it together today. I always use a youtube video to help with my DIY projects and came across your video and channel. sincere thank you for posting this excellent step-by-step video. great channel. new subscriber!!
Peter - Thanks so much for this video; watched it beforehand and it helped to understand what the instruction sheet was saying. But I got stuck trying to snap the two hinge pieces together - came back to look at your video, and bingo, at 11:00 saw that you'd encountered the same issue, but most importantly had figured out a great solution. Great job, and thanks for the clear explanations and great recommendations. Seems to be a good product, well designed and manufactured, so was glad to see it stamped 'Made in U.S.A.' You're so right about the heaviness/awkwardness of the box. I'm so happy with it I'll probably buy additional units for my basement - but next time I'm going to open the box outside, and bring each of the pieces inside one at a time - may take a little longer, but nothing compared to visits to the chiropractor if I throw my back out.
I really wish that you showed how you got the back piece on! Ugh! That was a very important part that you left out, whyyyyyy! Mine will be delivered on Monday and I wanted to get acquainted with the entire process.
How did you anchor these cabinets to the wall? You showed where the holes to anchor the cabinet should go, but wouldn't you have to pre-drill holes into your wall, put in drywall anchors (if you can't find a stud) and then anchor the cabinet to the pre-drilled holes? What about putting a piece of 1 by 4 behind these , make sure the 1 x 4 is properly secured to the wall then anchoring these to the wall? Just thinking outloud since garage cabinets tend to hold heavy stuff.
Good question. Does it just look like a tight fit? I often put one piece against the wall and then laid the other piece on the ground and kicked it until it went it.
Wow thanks for replying so fast! I’ve subscribed. I came back today to see if you answered me, not expecting that you would. My problem isn’t the sliding, it’s the actual inserting the tab into the slot; no matter what I do it won’t go down in there. AARGH!!

I had one of these and it holds a ton of stuff. I think each shelf holds 150 pounds, and the smaller one holds 75 pounds each. I don’t think you can get casters but call the company or look online. They do have products with casters, But this is something you assemble in place and leave there.

Great job, Teresa! They're large and a little unruly, so I'm glad it came together! Mine are still looking great, so they last too!

Thanks, JT! I assembled a couple before I figured out the various quirks!

Hello, I just put these cabinets together following your video instructions, and I wanted to thank you. 👍🏽
This is perfect to store all my crafts items.
Great idea, Patti!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Made our assembly.....
A snap!
Thank you so much. Without this video, I would have had a lot of issues with assembly. This was tremendous help
Great video and love your personality to boot!
MY SAVING GRACE!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
You’re a rock star!
How big is the box that these come in? Need to know if it will fit in my compact SUV.
I really wish that you showed how you got the back piece on! Ugh! That was a very important part that you left out, whyyyyyy! Mine will be delivered on Monday and I wanted to get acquainted with the entire process.
Helpful video..
Many many thanks!
Did you have your l brackets not align with the self holes?

Peter this is very helpful but I cannot get the side panels to go down into the slots. Any suggestions??

I think the price has been jacked up. No longer around $300. The commercial ones with the same size seem to be about $510. Otherwise, this looks good.
Putin?

I’ve been looking at getting these. Don’t know your locale, but do these stand up to heat well? My garage probably gets very hot.
I'm in Chicago. It gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Not as hot as desert climates. So far, they've held up fine!
@@petervonpanda OK TY!
I'm looking at these myself. Do you know if it's possible to add casters? I'm worried about attachment and support.

Thanks, Richard! Much appreciated!
