in my opinion the game just completely died after the first ever br came to the game which literally gave a free guaranteed legendary fruit as of winning the br and it just completely overkilled the fruits values and everyone used to just grind dungeons (which was fun and gave you super good valued stuff) and it is still very very hard to get legendary fruits but its just the value of the fruits are basically 0 and not worth getting other than i guess mythics which the new fruit will loose its value in like 2 weeks, the only 'good' valued stuff rn is just mythical stuff and limited stuff

Back then new players would just drop the game after seeing that some of the coolest and usefull items (like pika, mera, tori) is just too expencive. Most of anime games on roblox allow you to get cool stuff with relative ease, while old gpo had MAD grindwalls in comparason to th like fruit gacha in blox slop. Rn gpo's economy favours fresh playes allowing them to get almost everything essential in the game with a bit of trading and farming. As for br it serves as a great tool to teach players basics of pvp. Because you can play in a balanced enviroment that allows you to test weapons, fruits and fighting styles. Yes arena exists but it is often unbalanced with its matchmaking giving you an unfair fight with a guy who has 500 hp + 11 st regen + 11 hp regen and 10% dmg reduction on his accessories while you barely reached max lvl with pretty weak accessories
1- stop adding mythical fruits, start adding commons, rares and even epics, make more fruits instead of focusing your entire budget on a single one that barely anyone will get, more build variety = more content. 2- stop adding br changes as if its considered content, br is not content, dungeons (cupid and anniversary type specifically cuz impel down sucks), bosses and islands are content. 3- add an actual storyline instead of making the player kill 5 bandits for level 10 then go to another island and repeat, the only fun ive had doing any quest in gpo was those delivery quests on the first couple islands. 4- make transportation easier, a new player shouldnt have to afk boat to the next island for 10 minutes because their rowboat travels at 20 speed, you shouldnt need a legendary /mythical fruit to travel effectively thru the map, there is even a karoo in the game and it sucks due to its speed being so slow geppoing is better most of the times, MAKE TRANSPORTATION IN GENERAL FASTER. 5- stop making perfect moves, there shouldnt be blockbreaking frame 1 hyperarmor grabs that combo extend, there shouldnt be barrages that do 400 dmg and can barely be canceled, adding evasives in the game doesnt take away from your garbage balancing, every move should be a 50/50 tradeoff, (ex: you either get hyperarmor and blockeable or cancelable but blockbreak) you shouldnt have moves that do everything there should always be something bad with a move to prevent metas from being created. phoeyu just needs to follow these steps for his game to turn from this garbage mess to something actually worth playing.

my opn: update is pretty mid, yoru is good and stuff buuuutttt. the fact they added 10 evasive per hit for every single boss in the game just makes me tweak, you know how bad it is having to deal with a boss that deals 75 dmg per m1 and use evasive every attack ?. made me tweak a bit but just gotta adapt to it and borj will fall once again to my 110 m1 dmg build🙏

Imo, I think the update is good in a broader perspective but for me it's just okay not good, why is it good in a broader perspective? because mobile brings in new players + the fact that gpo is free, widens the player base allowing more interaction in the overworld etc. But to me it's okay because im an old player and we used to have higher standards e.g. ups 4 which was genuinely game changing content and update 10 just isn't on par. Am I disappointed? No, phooey doesn't owe us shit and whatever he puts out is what people will play, sometimes a new fruit and new weapon could be all you need to share a laugh with a friend in vc whilst you guys pvp.
one more thing to note I believe pho should probably focus on other rarities beside legendary we have a whole epic tier for fruits and yomi and spring is all we have.

Because every numbered update is supposted to be VERY big. And it was like this for past 9 updates. Updates 1-8 were filled to the brim with content and stuff to explore. Update 10 barely added anything. 1 new weapon, 1 new fighting style 1 new fruit and a few accessories. New "bosses" are just your regular npcs that run at you and use ace/yoru moves from time to time. Look at doflamingo for example. He has everything: complicated summoning route, cutscenes, 2 stages of bossfight, voicelines. While 2 new bosses dont feel unique because we already had soul king that was a world boss and addition of 2 more world bosses is as exiting

Oh yeah I've been grinding for like 4 days with 2x drop rates and i have gotten none of the 0.5% drops same situation with factory tbh which i have done 300 something times definitely not doing a repeat of that. But after a few days I've lost my motivation enough to skip a bunch of hours of playing gpo and grinding because it's not worth it.

It actually must suck playing gpo completely F2P. Whenever bosses had drops that I wanted I just bought them because there was no way im farming a damage sponge boss for days for a 1% drop. That’s my only complaint for the game. Truly sucks when you see a cool weapon or fruit then realize you’ll have to spend hours just trying to get it and the fun only lasts minutes
I feel like gpo has a really good concept, but the developers just failed to continuously make good updates. I think this is probably why blox fruits has even more players than before. But, if Phoeyu and the others manage to pull off maybe a massive overhaul of the battle royale rewarding system, fruits, bosses, dungeons, and just the AMOUNT of gamepasses in the game (way too many rn and they are just too expensive imo), I think gpo might surpass 100,000 concurrent players.
Whenever I play GPO, I usually play it for the social aspects and vast world its set in, the update is pretty mid but because it brought along a lot of players back to game as well as an influx of new players I genuinely enjoy the update for the sociability. But other than that, the updates they've been dishing out are no where near the standard that was held prior and needs a lot of work in order to bring back that experience. This is all my opinion so feel free to let me know what you think.

In my personal opinion, I think that GPO has run its course. Which is definitely a good thing because it felt more grind heavy and cash grabby with each update. NOBODY CAN JUSTIFY SPENDING $200 ON A BLOCK GAME, but GPO has proved that bandit beaters are dead. Unless Phoeyu does something crazy; I genuinely think that GPO, and all other bandit beaters will just stay dead. In my personal opinion we need more effort being put into games, hopefully with rell seas and pocket anime we can see a shift in the amount of effort going from gamefam MHA game, to something even bigger than most major triple AAA games.
i like the update only cuz its one piece oriented, the things they added are finally from one piece and not bleach or filler event shit on the other side i still havent gotten any of the drops because of the low rates so idk its meh

However, many great and well-deserved balance changes were added and I'm not disappointed at all in that department. 3.5/10 update, carried completely by the fair, not over-the-top but strong balance changes. The new content is not fun at all but br is still fun and packed with people at least for me.

a lot of pho's effort this update was making mobile playable and setting up UI and balancing as well as 1st sea island revamps btw

I started back playing bc my friends are on console and it recently came to console and it's been fun got and also got roger's Ace

In my personal opinion, I think that GPO has run its course. Which is definitely a good thing because it felt more grind heavy and cash grabby with each update. NOBODY CAN JUSTIFY SPENDING $200 ON A BLOCK GAME, but GPO has proved that bandit beaters are dead. Unless Phoeyu does something crazy; I genuinely think that GPO, and all other bandit beaters will just stay dead. In my personal opinion we need more effort being put into games, hopefully with rell seas and pocket anime we can see a shift in the amount of effort going from gamefam MHA game, to something even bigger than most major triple AAA games.

I mean the upd had some good parts like mobile (easier br games) but les be real, ain no one caring about first sea revamp. yoru is batshit broken and ace is very very good as well, but that dont matter cuz they locked behind tons of value or 0.0000000001% drop chance. Same with the new fruit, it's fun cool and broken beyond belief but 4 people have it and it's worth my kidney. no one, and I mean no one, is hyped for a mythical fruit's release, because everyone rightfully assumes they will never get to use it. Pho is literally allergic to adding items to the game that are possible to get, let alone fun to use. All I want in this game is a few new epic or legendary fruits that are balanced and fun every update but pho adds 1 mythical fruit to fill his pockets. I fr would rather have a rare fruit added to the game than a mythical because not only would it be a new fruit, it would not be worth my mother's spleen and it wouldn't be broken either. While I still had fun with this upd cuz I enjoy the game, it was ridiculous how basically everything that was added was mythical. Phoeyu, add some new fruits that aren't mythical for the love of god. However, many great and well-deserved balance changes were added and I'm not disappointed at all in that department. 3.5/10 update, carried completely by the fair, not over-the-top but strong balance changes. The new content is not fun at all but br is still fun and packed with people at least for me.
