Dam I sometimes have worked in that Home Depot as a vendor. The amount of chemicals in that building now sent in the air, I would close all my windows and wear masks for the next few days.

I remember I was at my home Depot last week and I saw how all the paint thinners just stacked at one pile and thought 🤔 this is dangerous af. I mean the aisle over is all can stuffs too 😱

Yeah, just a couple of days ago I was surprised to see them selling cans of pre-mixed fuel for chain saws and other gasoline fueled tools. Crazy.
You guys may not be aware but for propane they have it outside at a seperate area that they dont even allow you to bring it inside for fear that it'll explode meanwhile you have all these flammable concentrated at one spot 🤷♂️
Don't forget the lumber section. Whole thing is a big tinder box, and the dust collectors at the saws: fire bombs waiting to happen

If anything they would be better off pawning it off at regular, if not inflated price, to another wood store, who can sell it at cost or higher under the guise of supply chain issues and the depot burning down causing a supply shortage, justifying a hike in prices. /end *um actually* reply to what was likely intended as a joke instead of a genuine inquiry.

I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. I worked for Lowe's and accidents happened and can easily happen with all that goes on and all that is within a home improvement store. Numerous flammables and accelerants only needing a slight spark from a circular saw to ignite all of it.

I never liked home depot. Those video monitors that start beeping at you when you look at tools, just to remind you not to steal anything, so now you're trying to pick the right tool constantly being beeped and whooped at. Well HD is so cluttered compared to lowes. I went not long ago to get a pole saw and I was like damn you can barely walk around in this place without bumping into someone, just stock on pallets that wasn’t put up, carts with batterie, 10,000 dollar stand on lawnmowers which is a complete rip off had to walk around to get to what I wanted see, the place is a shit show… I didn’t even buy anything, I went to lowes and was like ahhhhh I can move and find what I want 🤷🏻♂️
