When I was younger, and broke something, I got to the point of- I scared of my mom yelling at me- and start to cry, but then get scared of my mom getting mad at me for crying, which made me cry more. It was not a fun cycle.

OML, so relatable, the time I was asking my mom if I could go to a friends house and she responded "No, we are having dinner soon, relatively, and then I asked, can I go after dinner and she said, "Go ask your father" I asked him and he said yes! But then when I went my mom got mad and said I should have asked my parents first. When I explained that my dad said I could go then she said I was being "Disrespectful" even though the whole time I was doing exactly what she was telling me to do. My mom had a ton of brain surgeries, so I stayed with my godmother for like, 2 months. I grew generally fast, so we had to go clothes shopping. My godmother took me to a really girly section and while I'm not the most girly person out there, I found a very pretty purple dress with a bow on the back. My godmother said something along the lines of: ' Oh Gacha Lemonade, that dress is only for thin girls, it is going to stretch out'. That really hurt my feelings. It stook with me until one day, when I was shopping for my confirmation dress, my mom told me: ' Oooh! What about this one? The photo even shows a girl just like you! Tall and skinny, I think it's perfect!' Thank you, mom

Most of my teachers really disliked me to the point where is I said the wrong answer I would get yelled at- I just got into middle and I have had really bad anxiety and depression since I was 8.. Also.. When ever I just want to vent I always vent to my mom and all she says is,”You need to be nicer to them.” And I always tell her to tell them that. I give away all my food at lunch and eat nothing for lunch like cmon!! I also can’t talk to a guy without my parents teasing me.. Like I haven’t talked to a boy in my school in 5 years. Another thing is that my dad keeps telling me that when I leave they are taking everything out of my bedroom.. Like I want to be able to see my childhood bedroom and be pleased with memories.. And I personally am a Shy, Clumsy, Introvert.. Who is always optimistic and doesn’t know how to speak to people without saying gibberish. My anxiety levels have gotten so bad that I have actually started to apologize for stuff that isn’t my fault. I also take a lot of blame.. My parents will also pretend to be my best friend when my most fake friend is even better than them.. It just hurts me.. I told my dad,”When I’m older I want to move to California!” Then he told me, Fires, Earthquakes, Etc. But living there has been my dream.. I want to be an Actress the company I want to try and work for is there.. He also says that I don’t want to live there. My parents also make a lot of decisions and talk for me and if makes me upset. I have a trauma that if someone yells at me, I start crying. Doesn’t matter if they are yelling “I LOVE YOU” at me, I automatically start crying even if I try SO HARD not to. Because of this I hated myself for so long and to the point where I started punching my gut figuratively and literally. I put myself down whenever my parents called me something. I told myself that it was what I deserved. I learned from this experience that it was ok for me to be sad and to be as confident in myself as I should be. I hope no one goes through the same pain that I inflicted onto myself.

Ugh. Whenever I’m like stuck on algebra I am too afraid to ask for my parent’s help because they yell at me if I don’t get it the first time. It’s actually pretty traumatic. And while they did it, they compared me to someone else. And well now, I just don’t rely on my parents. They aren’t going to give me support, they aren’t going to make me feel safe, and I’m done with it.

Most of my teachers really disliked me to the point where is I said the wrong answer I would get yelled at- I just got into middle and I have had really bad anxiety and depression since I was 8.. Also.. When ever I just want to vent I always vent to my mom and all she says is,”You need to be nicer to them.” And I always tell her to tell them that. I give away all my food at lunch and eat nothing for lunch like cmon!! I also can’t talk to a guy without my parents teasing me.. Like I haven’t talked to a boy in my school in 5 years. Another thing is that my dad keeps telling me that when I leave they are taking everything out of my bedroom.. Like I want to be able to see my childhood bedroom and be pleased with memories.. And I personally am a Shy, Clumsy, Introvert.. Who is always optimistic and doesn’t know how to speak to people without saying gibberish. My anxiety levels have gotten so bad that I have actually started to apologize for stuff that isn’t my fault. I also take a lot of blame.. My parents will also pretend to be my best friend when my most fake friend is even better than them.. It just hurts me.. I told my dad,”When I’m older I want to move to California!” Then he told me, Fires, Earthquakes, Etc. But living there has been my dream.. I want to be an Actress the company I want to try and work for is there.. He also says that I don’t want to live there. My parents also make a lot of decisions and talk for me and if makes me upset. I have a trauma that if someone yells at me, I start crying. Doesn’t matter if they are yelling “I LOVE YOU” at me, I automatically start crying even if I try SO HARD not to. Because of this I hated myself for so long and to the point where I started punching my gut figuratively and literally. I put myself down whenever my parents called me something. I told myself that it was what I deserved. I learned from this experience that it was ok for me to be sad and to be as confident in myself as I should be. I hope no one goes through the same pain that I inflicted onto myself.

Ugh. Whenever I’m like stuck on algebra I am too afraid to ask for my parent’s help because they yell at me if I don’t get it the first time. It’s actually pretty traumatic. And while they did it, they compared me to someone else. And well now, I just don’t rely on my parents. They aren’t going to give me support, they aren’t going to make me feel safe, and I’m done with it.
