The game is very pretty, and the dials worked fine for us. The problem I had with the game is the rich get richer (like Monopoly). I lost a few battles at the beginning due to bad dice rolls. Other players kept upgrading their equipment and I stayed at the default power level, which made me an easy target and a sub-par ally. In late game, other players can take a lot of actions with their coins and wrecks (defeated ships), and I could do nothing as I stayed poor and enemy ships got even more powerful. Of course, this is coloured by the view of a loser, and the game may be more fun for winners. :p
I'm very disappointed: from the thumbnail, it looked like the dude on the right was playing an axe-shaped electric guitar. Someone should design a game about metal music.
