I have no fucking idea how people manage to make face textures look good, I tried it once and it looked like Hannibal Lector wearing another person's face.
Yeah, it's definitely something you need to know inside and out to make work in game, which is why I advocate for face morphing instead of the immediate "get a face texture"
just a few notes to expand upon his video (I CREATE FOR FUN) LOOK OUTSIDE OF WRESTLING FOR INSPIRATION ON A CAW if you are making a character i think it is extremely important that the first thing you do is lay down the character's gimmick and ethnicity of said CAW (use google images of said idea(so like i would search something like: "scottish man with long blonde hair" to help with the face) like he said in the video YOU DO NOT NEED A FACE TEXTURE (eyebrows are also one of most important things to convey facial emotions) you can still use in game tattoos you just gotta know how to use em correctly (maybe put some in game images over the in game tattoos to make them feel unique) get experimental with the attire to make the CAW stand out (use items that give you your own signature style ) Entrances is the most important part next to the moveset (granted entrances have been broke since 2k19) make sure YOUR MOTIONS MATCH YOUR THEME SONG FOR THE SAKE OF GOD. (i dont mean using the same motion as the theme song) with the moveset make sure the moves equipped are in tandem with the type of CAW you made (if you got a heel is he a aggressive heel or a stoic heel) it will take HOURS to get the character right. TRUST ME the more small details you add to the CAW the better in the long run to help make the CAW feel like a fully fleshed out character. oh and if you want to make more caws start trying to tie them together through storylines (LORE and OR UNIVERSE MODE) to help build a CAWS current Character traits i've been creating for years and tbh i wont stop but this guy needs to make a discord server so we can all share our creations and give tips and tricks so we can all become better
I have wanted to do this for a while and with it being so close to Christmas when I finally got working on it, I decided this is the perfect Christmas video. Hope you enjoy it and I hope you find it useful!
For most of the process I use OBS and either my capture card for game footage or my camera for me on-screen. Everything else is usually loosely storyboarded so I have an idea of what I want things to look like and then it's a lot of putting things together in Premiere Pro until it looks good
@sincerelykaleb1109 Confidence is always king. And as a side note we do have a CAW review series coming back in the new year so if you're interested in that, it might be worth sticking around
Perfect CAW -> Makes Jerma985
"This isn't about face textures." Thank you! I have tried and I stink lol
we all start from somewhere and I really believe that face textures aren't the be all, end all of a CAW
