    My trigger is definitely anxiety. If I wake up unexpectedly in the middle of the night, I immediately have a night sweat for being woken up. If anything gives me anxiety during the day, then an immediate hit flash. I've been thru with menopause almost 2 years now and still getting them. I have reduced anxiety but cannot eliminate it so I have resigned to this being a part of my life now.

    YES I still get them one week a month like a cycle is still happening. For me it’s a 20 year commitment of symptoms I wasn’t aware of. One leaves another comes then they switch I GIVE UP!

    Thank you for this one. I'm learning that as I'm aging (5 yrs post menopause now) I need more protein, and the low blood sugar problems I used to have, are back. These, as well as doing too much in my day, still thinking I'm 50 or 40....or 20 :-) I haven't quite learned how to do less in my day and be ok with that. To relish the feeling of being peaceful and having a bit of time in my afternoon or evening, even if my to do list isn't done.
    My flushes now start with a wave of nausea, then the heat almost always starts in my back. My whole back will heat up then my whole body, whew! They stopped for a couple years but came back several months ago.
    I keep hearing from the Dr - 'Dee you aren't 40 anymore, slow down!', I think I have reduced my days tasks.
    I'm not sure what an average day looks like for a middle aged women who has slowed down. Sending hugs and a thank you.
    Sage is my go to for sleep issues and hot flushes. Sending hugs and a thank you, Dee

    I notice my night sweats begin a week before my periods. They tend to stop after I get my periods but return again in the next cycle. I drink plenty of water everyday too. Thank you Eileen, great video.

      Please don't stop your HRT quickly on your own as this may trigger withdrawal symptoms which could mimic menopausal ones! It is best to discuss this with your doctor as they can advise you on the best method to stop.
      For adrenal exhaustion, you may find the herb Maca and a magnesium supplement helpful

      Have you spoken to your doctor about sarcoidosis?

      @fillistine 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AvogelCoUk yes Im under the hospital for it as Im on meds to function. I mentioned menopause during lockdown as I statted bleeding again in 2020 for 6mth. I mentioned the sweats. I said I cannot tell the difference between flu, sarcoid and menopause. It is all the same to me. I didnt get a response for the menopause but was told I was right that I cannot distinguish flu from sarcoid.
      I just plod on with it all

      I am not a medical profession so I can't really advice but if you are still worried it can be helpful to get a second opinion from another doctor to help put your mind at ease.
