I bought one a few weeks ago and it came with 2 modes (Outdoor and tactical). Outdoor was your normal stepped UI, BUT tactical gave instant access to both turbo and strobe from the tail switch and access too only moonlight, medium and turbo/strobes via the side switch. Ik you mentioned it couldn’t be a top pick for a budget flashlight, but I think with the new groups it’s definitely a contender
Like this in the 18650 battery style. Along with the interchangeable parts with other Wurkkos lights. Makes it more enjoyable and niche serviceable.

I have it for a long time with the Sofirn SP35, a very similar flashlight, but with 21700 battery. Initialy I like the Sofirn better because the wider spill, the one button interface and added magnetic tail, but after a while I started to appreciate both. The Wurkkos for it's look and slightly longer range.

Same emitter! Both are incredible..the TN12 has a slightly better UI imo. And it comes with spare parts

I've made my EDC choices, now I'm looking into larger 18650 flashlights, and I'll put this one on the short list; nice review. I think I prefer 5000K / high CRI. I'm noticing diminishing amount of available stock, which is no surprise, but hopefully I can decide quickly.

That light looks light a light saber. Star war fans might like it. I like that it has two ways to turn it on. I wish the sorfirn if22a had a tail switch, but it is by no means a deal-breaker.
The fc12 is an amazing tactical light. So many features in one little light. Although in my testings using the sofirn short tube the output is a bit limited so i wouldn't advice anyone using a shorter battery like an 18350 cell. Also check out the title of this video cause you've typed Wurkkos ts12 instead of Fc12. Cheers

Been looking at alot of reveiws on torches (flashlights) because there are so many flashlights on the market and it's all so time consuming, some reveiws just rattle on for so long it does my bonce in. Yours was short, informative, interesting and how it should be. Maybe more specs could have been mentioned... I'm sure you would have even made that short and interesting as well. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining and after watching your reveiw I am ordering this model torch right after my cup of tea. I will now subsribe to your videos. Thankyou.

Flicking a Civivi riffle 👍. These seem like some impressive lights . these ones u r showing seem like they have more power than my nicron n7 with the 3.7 li . I m not sure how they rate with folks but the swivel head and magnet has come in handy . Do you know anything about nicron lights ?
Yes, but they are not waterproof plus IPX4
I have a warrior mini 2 from olight,it's I think 240 meters,usable light for the eye ( mine at least ) isn't much more hahaha but it costs 4× more.
The thrunite T12 pro is perfect for me. Hope you can review it some day. Unless you already have then ignore lol

What midd body part are you using for that SC31T? Is it from a different flashlight?

I don't know about anyone else but I find side switch flashlights incredible infuriating to use. No matter what light I always have to roll it around in my hand to find it. This would be a *disaster* in a high stress situation. I'd love to see an Anduri light (or one that came out of the box like this) that had immediate access to turbo, maybe strobe, and moonlight all from the tail.

The Wurkkos TS10 has both Andúril 2.0 and is operated with just a tailswitch. It's very small though and it is not a thrower, but it has 1400 lumen and is very cheap 🙂
Ever looked into the olight warrior 3? Does medium and turbo off tail or strobe then turbo
the Wurkkos FC12 has a tactical mode which goes to instant turbo from the rear tail switch every time no matter what.

Definitely not, no remote switch for a mechanical tail switch.

As the parts are interchangeable, can one also put an fc11 end cap on it if you are ok with just the side button? Or can you take that back button and put it on an fc11?
Tested: In case anyone is wondering, no worky. I think this is because the back button on the FC12 is the "main switch" when on the FC11, it's the side button.

Latest UI for 2023 makes this a much better at least for me. Got mine with HD15 in purple. Best combination for the money IMO. Have a great day.

Is hd15 best for self defense? Will it blind someone? I’m concerned it only has 29k candles vs 100k+ on some competitors
@@hakimzaidi7949 Dia ganti ramping mode kepada tactical mode. Mode ni ada 2 level sahaja. High & turbo. Switch akan ikut last memory. Jadi access ke level tinggi lebih mudah.
@@Sudovest8 I bought with HD15, as can then utilise the shortbody for both lights. BTW, HD15 do have a tight hotspot and although only rated 1k, it is bright enough IMHO.

I love the pd36 r pro user interface and switching light modes it’s just perfect it just doesn’t has moon light mode 😞
@maxlvledc Sorry to comment on an older video but I’d really love to know what model Sofrin you used in this video to interchange the parts with the Wurkkos FC13.

it was the older tac model I believe that they sell. I forget the name. I believe everything was linked in description.

How does it compare with the Warrior from olight? I see the warrior being more recommended for defence light
The Warrior mini 2 is still very very good, but is not as bright, has proprietary batteries, is 3x as expensive, and uses a specialized charging cable vs the standard USBC.

Do either of these brands make a dual switch tail cap? Or is there another brand known to have compatible threading?
sofirn and wurkkos have similar threading. why do you need a dual tail switch?
@@maxlvledc on my current flashlights, I have to switch my grip to change the mode. But only having a tail switch limits the use to an overhand grip.
I've seen dual tail switches on Fenix and some other brands that seem like they would solve that problem, but they lack other features.

Atm...I'm liking the TN12 Pro a little better...but I prefer the tail button on the FC12...it's a little easier to press. But I like the UI on Thrunite...😩 decisions...also the thrunite works best with a protected battery..but the Wurkkos can use any type of battery (low voltage protection)

Lolol. Im liking the tn12 more since if I take it to vacation trips out of country it looks more edc then tactical and it won't be taken away from me. The fc looks more mean and may be taken by TSA imo

Zoom functions are kind of a gimmick because they require very specific optics, prevent the flashlight from being waterproof, and cause the lights to wear out much faster. It's better to get a light with 2 separate emitters built inm

Do you know what the standard thread pitch is on these lights? I have a light on top of an ASP Baton, and I wonder if I could substitute different lights for different purposes? Would make the Nightcore (or is it Nextorch?) on there much more versatile. Can only be a side switch model for obvious reasons... How do I post a picture here?

This flashlight is pretty bright but the bad thing is it only lasted about 2 weeks. Now it won’t charge or work anymore. I tried charging it for a while and nothing.

Looks good but those rubber charging ports in 2022, why??? What's the function? Why not go Olight and make it magnetic. Can't be that expensive?
For most people a type c port is Way way way more convenient. Even in more expensive electronics you need 5 different magnetic chargers for different things..usbc is better and more universal

That self defense light has one flaw, soon as you press the tailcap your position is given away lol..
The the recent tactical mode..the flashlight/torch can be switched on from the tailcap straight into turbo or strobe mode. Even works by half pressing the tailcap without the click, release tbe pressure and it goes off.

Does the thumb button light up with the furkkos is turned off??? Is there smooth ramping and/or stepped ramping??? Your video address none of my questions. I don't recall you specifically mentioning the lumens. Does the thumb button turn the flashlight on AND off???? Crappy video...
i have the new model fc12.. the side button is not lit while off..the ramping is stepped & has a tactical setting i selected so it goes to turbo every time but you can switch to one lower mode using the side switch..or you can double click the side switch to go to strobe. or select ultra low midnight mode by simultaneously clicking tailcap & side switch. The side switch does not turn the light on which is good because it prevents the light from accidentally turning on.
You're wasting my time...I want to see ALL the features of this FC12 and I don't give a crap about sofirn....thumbs down on your video...

The sc31T has a really excellent flood beam and is significantly shorter..I think you can easily justify both for different purposes
