Who? Never heard of her. Never watched a WNBA game until Clark came along. That's reality. If Clark was Black at Iowa, we would have still been interested, just like when the Williams Sisters and Tiger Woods did when they brought excitement to their sports.
Aj there is always going to be someone better as time goes on. How many fans did she interact with like CC does. How many others did she promote.
A’ja is crying because she behaves like a crybaby and a spoiled brat. Whereas CC acts with class whenever she gets an unduly hard foul. A’ja, did you suffer this kind of abuse when you were a rookie? I’ll bet not. Do you think CC is being fouled like by this because she’s white? Seriously. She has shown the depth of her character and her maturity in spite of receiving these flagrant fouls CC chooses to remain silent. If the situation were reversed, I wager you’d be crying up a storm and saying, “they’re targeting me because I’m black,” not remaining silent and changing your expectations about the game and strengthening yourself to be able to handle the physicality of the game, which is what CC has done:
If you want to be seen as a great playing player, you have to start acting like a great person. Quit acting like a bully, a whiner, and start acting like a great player who makes the sacrifices to make everyone around you a better player.
In my opinion, you cannot be whining about others getting more attention than you. Act and speak to benefit everyone around you. Adjust like Michael Jordan did. Lift up your teammates, pass more to them, give them the props they deserve, too! Shift your focus from trying to make everyone think you’re the greatest player and become someone more selfless who makes people see what a great team you are on. The rest of the accolades will come in time, but only if you don’t try to force others to see it!

That's such BULL-SHIT. Can you imagine if a C. Clark said Wilson only won the MVP cause she's black. COME-ON MAN. Black people can't except that Clark is better than them. It's only racist if it's against a black person. 😮

She’s live her life in a bubble. She’s athletically capable. She’s had things handed to her. Her blackness has been reinforced all of her life. The real world, where she’s just not as good as others, is closing in on her.

This girl and anybody else who believes that racism in this day & age is alive and well, needs to be transported back to 40's - 70's. Catlin gets love because she's a star! Steph Curry gets love because he's a star! No racism and nonsense like that. We accept Steph for what he is, a great player!!! Same should go for Catlin, so A'ja please stop being "jealous & butt hurt' because you aren't getting the same amount of accolades as Catlin!
