    Thank you for the tutorial! This ended up being my fourth project after granny squares and chevrons, and, thanks to your help, I managed to complete a full sized blanket and stay sane during quarantine.

    Mikey, have you ever done a video of the Lady Windsor Lace crochet afghan? I have tried to make this but its so confusing to me. I have made many of your projects because your tutorials are very easy to understand. So any help with that afghan would be greatly appreciated!

    As a left handed crocheter I do get confused about WS and RS when doing these type of afghans. My RS is a right hander's WS, and visa versa. So instead of doing FP
    TC in rd 2 would I do BPTC instead?

    The first time I saw a "mile a minute" pattern was 8 years ago. th-cam.com/video/VtdX5lcotL4/w-d-xo.html
    It is a basic set of granny cluster corners worked on top of each other. all pointing up. Then you granny cluster around the strip with a different color and one more time with a third color, and connect. It works up so fast. you feel like you are streaming along. And with a 6 thickness yarn and a K hook, it really does seem like you are crocheting a 'mile a minute'.
    I made a warm long poncho for my 6'4" son and it really did go fast!

    It's called mile a minute because it is quick to work up compared to others.

    Hi Mikey! Love your channel! Is this just a sample of how to crochet the mile a minute? It doesn’t look very large. Almost like a granny square size but I’m thinking that’s because you’re just doing a sample. Is that correct? Thank you!!

      as mentioned in the video the actual size is 43 inches of the first part of the panel.

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it's just a sample as the length doesn't matter. It can be any length you wish.

    Wait why am I just realizing the blanket we are working on is not the same in the thumbnail? 😟🤔🤦🏼‍♀️

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Checking. That's shouldn't be.

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Strange, seems to be the same pattern to me. I am using different colours in the tutorial. Maybe your YT has a bug or something showing you the wrong tutorial. I am unable to duplicate the error you are speaking of.

      @lbo6050 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheCrochetCrowd oh, why thank you for checking and replying! I hope my comment didnt come off rude, I certainly didnt mean it that way! I could very well be wrong but the thumbnail photo appears to be long panels of this pattern rather than the separate squares. Again..I'm sure I'm wrong, I'm fairly new to crochet and literally only follow your tutorials! Thanks for your help 🥰

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did a short panel as it's a matter of repeating the same stitchwork. Essentially, you can make each panel any length you want to adjust.

      With practice speed comes. I can crochet much faster myself if I didn't have to stop and talk my way through the demo. :D
