    hello sir, first of all thank you very much for your very fluid and clear explanation, but I believe unless I am mistaken that you have reversed the role of the logical operator, the logical operator (and allows the passage only if the two conditions are true, and the 'logical operator (or ) allows the passage if one or the other condition is true ,

    for the second concept it is used to be sure that the operator uses both hands to avoid any accident that hurts the hands (safety concept)

    I think you are confused in OR gate and AND gate..
    In AND gate, when both input is coming then you will get output.
