With the utter nonsense Lakers Nation is bringing up and the Lakers are reportedly looking at, we'd only be a lock as a playoff team if LBJ takes 0 dollars. LOL Let's say we get DeMar and Valanciunas. They are practically of zero use to us. DeMar is certainly going to be massively better than Reaves, but he's not a shooter, so we'll have a clogged paint again. At the same time the more important thing is that he is so expensive, that there will be no wings added besides our rookie. And to get there Rui is gone and either Vando or Reaves and both of them would be ideal for their respective roles OFF THE BENCH. Val is going to get ran off the court if he ever gets on it anyway. Career kill move for him to even come here. The end result will be that Val will be in instead of Hayes, DeMar will score more and spread the floor less and be better than Reaves on defense, but the bench will be almost empty as a result. The advantage you gain there will be lost with no Vando and Rui coming off the bench. Zero sum game imo. It's like not a single Lakers person knows anything about basketball at all. Sorry Jerry West, rest in peace. We the fans failed you. You were the last one who knew what a lineup was and how they work over here.
I dunno why paul george cant say hey I go to the lakers you get dlo rui gabe and 2 firsts or I walk to 76ers for nothing maybe balmer says ahh nothing is fine who knows
Trading DLo for Vucevic is just opening a hole at the point guard position and losing a great 3 point shooter. I don't think Redick or Bron would be happy with that. Almost feel like Klay would like to put a Lakers jersey on to join AD and play for his dad's old team. He would likely have a bounce back year with Redick's coaching style and he'd make a bunch off endorsements in LA vs Orlando. If they trade DLo they need to replace his shooting and playmaking. Every team has a great guard.
DeMar DeRozan does not open up the floor for the Lakers in my opinion. They should just see what happens with D’Angelo Russell during the season and look to trade him by the deadline if he isnt panning out
No he needs to gone before season starts because we did that shit last year and said the same thing just to keep him and him to stink it up again in the playoffs need to be relieved of him because he’s moody and not serious basketball player so trade him now and have a fresh team

With or without the pay cut look for Lebron to be absolutely locked in this season.
DID WE NOT LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE WITH WESTBROOK??!! DEMAR IS A HORRIBLE FIT, THE BALL MOVEMENT WOULD BE EVEN WORSE WITH HIM, JJ REDDICK SAID HE WANTS THE TEAM TO MOVE THE BALL WAY MORE, HE ALSO SAID HE WANTS TWO WAY PLAYERS, DEMAR IS NOT A TWO WAY PLAYER, HE CANT SHOOT THE 3 AND HE CANT DEFEND THE OTHER TEAMS 1ST OR SECOND BEST PLAYER, OUR DEFENSE WOULD BE HORRIBLE, YOU GUYS ARE NOT LEARNING

I cut out the beginning where my mic wasn't on. YT used to let you just edit a part out of a video, now for some reason it reposts it as a whole new video.
Everyone is talking about D'LO, but AR didn't exactly do shit in the playoffs. D'LO helped move the Lakers to the seventh seed. How often did AR score twenty or more points?
Best all in move is Dlo, Rui, wood- picks(‘29, ‘31, unprotected 27) for Lauri and Sexton. Regardless of what Lebron does this helps now and in the future. Sell out for Lauri. Sexton, Reaves, LBJ, Lauri, AD - gabe, Vando, JHS, Knecht, Bronny, Hayes, reddish, Lewis- depending on what bron does you would fill the last spot with MLE or max and min.
Tobias Harris played 30 mins and scored 0 pts on 0-2 shooting in his last game which was game 6 vs the Knicks. That was an elimination game. He was making 45 million dollars. This is the guy Laker fans want? 🤣
I don't like any of these players you mentioned. Our main priority is a wing that can defend and shoot 3. None of those guys fit the bill, ie Derozan, TB, Miles Bridges, Klay Thompson. We also need an athletic PG that can play defense and a big body center that can take the load off of AD. None of that fits the bill here guys. What are we doing?
@@hilamadventures4060I think we should trade with jaaz , they say they are willing to trade John collins and Kessler, who can be great fit with laker. Laker need big body who can defend and rebound.
If they can get a decent 3D dude for the MLE, would be great. They don't need more offense i think. They need stoppers. We need a center, YES but thats gonna be by trading. We already have Hayes and Wood.
Why don’t these guys demand player accountability and just praise them for them being willing to take a pay cut (which hasn’t happened yet). Are you a fan of the team or a fan of Lebron?
Now my question, what are the Lakers are planning to do with Taurean Prince and Spencer Dimwiddie? Since both said they like to stay with the Lakers...
We need a physical center and someone who is a 2-way player who can guard the best player on the other team and can shoot. For instance, Dwight howard like and a Kcp. We can't put Lebron, AR, or DLo to lockdown defend. RUI got lost on defense in the Nuggets series. Vando is unable to stretch the floor in the playoffs.
People need to realize that the Lakers would all of a sudden be able to complete sign and trades as well because they come with the same hard cap as the Full MLE. So guys like Klay Thompson would all of a sudden be an option
So obviously he'll never be mentioned again on this show and end up somewhere else while we talk about the next center who is big, slow, not a good rim protector, can't shoot and be off the floor in the playoffs AND will never actually play together with AD, because Lebron wants to play PF.
@peteranders7106 Well, at this stage in his career LeBron is best at PF. Bridges is definitely better than overpaid Jerami Grant who they keep mentioning, and I'm sick of hearing about Trae Young - even if he becomes available, he's an inefficient-shooting undersized ballhog and turnover machine. I think we should go for either Bridges or a package of Wendell Carter and Markelle Fultz for Rui or DLo, Gabe Vincent and a first. But if we could somehow get Brandon Ingram back, that would be the best option.
@peteranders7106 Thanks. Sometimes they're just clueless. Like about Gabe Vincent - I knew he was overrated and mediocre-at-best and getting him would be a bad move before we traded for him.

Bridges or Demar sounds amazing
I too believe that LeBron will take the pay cut to get a championship team.
With the utter nonsense Lakers Nation is bringing up and the Lakers are reportedly looking at, we'd only be a lock as a playoff team if LBJ takes 0 dollars. LOL
Let's say we get DeMar and Valanciunas.
My main concern with the lakers is backcourt defence, then a big. None of these free agents wow me enough
Yes! Exactly!
I dunno why paul george cant say hey I go to the lakers you get dlo rui gabe and 2 firsts or I walk to 76ers for nothing maybe balmer says ahh nothing is fine who knows
Thing shaping up for the Lakers but market is meh.
@@jayrev3413 if we could get a kcp and a big I feel like that’s all we would need
It's clear how much effort goes into the content. It really shows.
I say he takes the pay cut build that roster so he and his son can get a ring!
Lebron is not taking a pay cut for max Christie
Lebron: thank you for drafting Bronny, let me help you help me 😉
U guys are funny. Gabe Vincent and our other additions last year were all hurt. When healthy we'll be fine. Relax
Trevor, you and Daniel are unbelievable. It’s like you don’t think women can also be Lakers fans. Really Miles Bridges??
Lol get out of here
He has basketball talent and will be in the league so.. Lakers going to handicap themselves.. I dont know maybe..
Bron will be printing money for the rest of his life, taking the pay cut is a great idea.
We need players that will put us over the top in not trading dlo and picks for no cam Johnson 🤦🏾♂️ like huuuh
Cam Thomas would be better than Cam Johnson
LAKERS should trade for both Myles Turner and Marcus Smart
Miles bridges would be perfect he is young athletic and big body
He is the goat 🐐
Lakers are low key in a GREAT position to be STACKED next season!!!
How awesome will it be if Bron/Bronny win a title together???!!!
Lol, really there's always an abundance of delusional lakers fan
@@chf159^Lol theres always an abundance of triggered delusional Clippers fans
@@Nostalgia9478 delusion on both sides
Lol, i'm a lakers fan of 35 years, prob more than you but i'm realistic. Dude, ur name says it all, "nostalgia", give me a break
@@Nostalgia9478 he's just speaking facts
I wouldn't take a pay cut. Lebron farewell tour will generate 100s of million dollars for the lakers and NBA. Pay that man what he's worth!!
Facts. Oh he gonna set his contract up to where he gets his money back when he gets ready to leave
DeMar DeRozan does not open up the floor for the Lakers in my opinion. They should just see what happens with D’Angelo Russell during the season and look to trade him by the deadline if he isnt panning out
But he is a consistent scorer though and shows up to play
No he needs to gone before season starts because we did that shit last year and said the same thing just to keep him and him to stink it up again in the playoffs need to be relieved of him because he’s moody and not serious basketball player so trade him now and have a fresh team
Lakers won't make the playoffs with this roster. Everyone in the west is getting better and we're gonna try and run back last years average team
🎯 Derozan crowds our roster even more. If we clear some players out maybe.
@@HunchoMonnjust like Westbrook was a dog and would carry us through the regular season so LeBron could rest right? Do you hear what you’re saying? It’s 2024, derozan will not work bro.
Imagine if he played for the vet minimum.
It wouldnt change anything.. Save jeannie some money is all
That’s why I don’t get these people crying over the Bronny James signing. It gives Lebron an ENTIRE new reason to be motivated to be even more locked in to win a chip. Do you guys really think Lebron wants to leave the league without giving his son the absolute best shot at winning a chip before he retires? With or without the pay cut look for Lebron to be absolutely locked in this season.
Agreed, and honestly who cares which player is the lowest paid on the roster?
Thank you! Lakers need to stop name chasing and start skill chasing. JJ’s a very good evaluator of talent. I hope they ask for his input.
LAKERS trade for Marcus Smart and Myles Turner!!!!!
I would not mind getting those guys at all. Not sure the money works but they’d solve some problems.
Give Derozan the MLE and trade Gabe Vincent for Nick Richard’s.
I’d be all about Mile Bridges !
what was the opt in amount $ for lebron?
Lebron saves the lakers again
Bravo to LeBron James for thinking of the team. Is there a free agent out there that could make a difference to propel us to that championship level?
You skipped over KCP? No 1 2 way player on this list, but likely he'll get paid and would he come back?
i think we going to see a package trade for incentive trade offer for some teams to take on our salary.
If they could get past the off court stuff, bridges would be a solid pickup - would like to see Richards as well!
Make Sean Davis the coach n Trevon the GM immediately
The hypocrisy is real. I can't count the amount of times Trevor has told super chatters that it doesn't matter if LeBron takes less money or not.. somehow the biggest move of the off-season is LeBron taking less?!?!?! Wtf 😂😂
Demar was also at the Kendrick show with Lebron. Wonder if they talked 🤔
Is this a repost??
The one earlier was live..then he did a repost.
I cut out the beginning where my mic wasn't on. YT used to let you just edit a part out of a video, now for some reason it reposts it as a whole new video.
@@LakersNationCool cool
Don't take any players from the Heat. Learn your lessons, or Riley will spank you.
Riley’s not gonna do LeBron any favors…
Bron paying the MLE for lakers😂
DeMar DeRozan, Donovan Mitchell, Lauri Markkenan, Chris Paul and Klay Thompson
Everyone is talking about D'LO, but AR didn't exactly do shit in the playoffs. D'LO helped move the Lakers to the seventh seed. How often did AR score twenty or more points?
This shows he’s trying to win a ring again. Especially with his son. He’ll do it. He’s determined
Lakers Trade for Alex Caruso
Not gonna lie. Getting AC back would help, especially if we keep DLo & AR.
Matt who is your pg
Bridges was an exception his contract was excellent
Tobias Harris played 30 mins and scored 0 pts on 0-2 shooting in his last game which was game 6 vs the Knicks. That was an elimination game. He was making 45 million dollars. This is the guy Laker fans want? 🤣
Harris has had some really good years. he's not bad at all and a lot of his production falling off was based on becoming a 3rd or 4th option.
LeBron James is not taking a pay cut for Myle Bridges
Can we get klay and will it be a good fit
Miles Bridges is a great talent. I can’t rock with him based on what he did to his girlfriend. That was some evil stuff.
very smart of lebron to take a paycut. he's really showing that winning comes first, and the lakers need to cap on this
I don't like any of these players you mentioned.
Gary Trent
Miles bridges doesn't fit the Bill? Harris? Both are clear clear upgrades over Rui..
KLAY AND JONAS MAKE IT HAPPEN ‼️
DeRozen... He's a good scorer but we need a two-way player for the full MLE!
Who are we kidding, the King already knows who he wants people. Thanks for the home town discount if it happens.
Depends on how much of a pay cut
I truly think it will be Derozan! He wants to be home and California is LIT right now!! THEY NOT LIKE US
He rejected 2 year 80mil from the Bulls
the idea of trading dlo to sign Tobias Harris is nasty work
Why don’t these guys demand player accountability and just praise them for them being willing to take a pay cut (which hasn’t happened yet). Are you a fan of the team or a fan of Lebron?
Mavs can't afford to pay Klay and DJJ - If I'm Pelinka I offer DJJ the MLE now - 7 foot wingspan, 46 inch vertical
Yeah ; Comes With the Territory .
You don’t watch DeMar DeRozan enough. He can play the 3 and his playmaking is so good now, we need a guaranteed bucket, it’s got to be him
Don't get me wrong, DeRozan isn't a bad addition necessarily, but it doesn't make us a championship team.
Now my question, what are the Lakers are planning to do with Taurean Prince and Spencer Dimwiddie? Since both said they like to stay with the Lakers...
I would rather have Chris Paul than Myles Bridges
Lakers should Sign Chris Paul
Lakers better not blow it tomorrow! They need to grab the right free agents.
Keith is my spirit animal
We need a physical center and someone who is a 2-way player who can guard the best player on the other team and can shoot. For instance, Dwight howard like and a Kcp. We can't put Lebron, AR, or DLo to lockdown defend. RUI got lost on defense in the Nuggets series. Vando is unable to stretch the floor in the playoffs.
To make salary match you have to make some trades like Austin Reeves, DLO etc
The assumption that Bron is offering a discount because Lakers signed Bronny, will be discussed & argued ad nauseam by all the NBA talking heads.
People need to realize that the Lakers would all of a sudden be able to complete sign and trades as well because they come with the same hard cap as the Full MLE. So guys like Klay Thompson would all of a sudden be an option
Miles Bridges would be great - he can score inside and outside, he's a good rebounder for his size, and he's athletic, energetic and aggressive.
@@dmitryowens agreed. You have a much better grasp on lineups than those guys.
@peteranders7106
Thanks. Sometimes they're just clueless. Like about Gabe Vincent - I knew he was overrated and mediocre-at-best and getting him would be a bad move before we traded for him.
TOBIAS HARRIS IS WORTH 13M especially he’s has redemption on his mind , and he’s big for denver long wings
Top Two players - Hartenstein or Bridges ,( realistically ) … Maybe Klay?
Unrealistic - Harden - PG
LeBron James want the Lakers to make a trade to match up the salaries
