    You are a true inspiration. I remember when you were just starting out and now you play in games like this. You may not always be lucky, but you're always entertaining. In the New Year I'm going to start at $1/$3 with a $3,000 bankroll and see where I can go.

    • @AdventZZZx
      @AdventZZZx ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’d play a smaller game like 1/2 or even .5/1 mainly because it’ll allow you to grow your bankroll with little risk of failure (if your a winning player) by giving you more than 10 buyins (assuming 100BB min). I’d personally start out at .5/1 and buyin at max which could be 100 or bigger.

    • @ClawHeart4258
      @ClawHeart4258 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AdventZZZx I appreciate the advice. I live in NYC so I can't play online, so there are no .50/$1 I can play. Borgata has the best game I've found that I can easily get to and have had success at before, and their smallest is $1/$3. 10 buyins is where I'm comfortable starting at and we'll see what happens. If it doesn't work, I'll reconsider my plans. Thank you!

    I'm very happy that you're flush with cash, so that a very stupid session like this doesn't hurt you. Thinking that playing wildly is good content, maybe works for some of your subscribers, but I just found it painful. But don't feel badly about the session, just consider it a booster shot, a reminder that sometimes a lesson needs to be learned over and over again until you convince yourself you're done making that particular mistake.
    For me, the lesson I needed to relearn 50 times over the course of 15 years, was how dumb it is to stay at a bad table, especially at a big casino with tons of tables. I'd slug it out with the nittiest of nits, when fish were throwing money away 30 feet from me at another table.
    For you, it's wanting to create action where there is none, and not tightening way up for long enough, when card dead.
    Playing the best that you can, is better content than "playing hands for content". I don' think I've ever played a cash session just an hour long in my life, though I've certainly bailed to a table change in that amount of time from a bad table. Cash is a game of patience, struggling to stay near even for hours at a time, waiting for the inevitable periods of people throwing away money (or at least EV dollars, hahaha) to you. Blasting off with no hand, should never be done just out of frustration or desperation, and should never be done. Even when done in a sensible, non-desperate way, never do it repeatedly in such a short amount of time after you get caught. There is a limit to how often even a player with a tight image can get away with it, and even for a tight old guy like me, that is every few hours at the most, not several times per hour.
