The design of the sony XB100s are nice and great for portable stereo mode. Just wish they would be as loud as either the tribit micro 2 or marshall willen!

I bought 2 XB100 after watching this video. Originally planned to get a Flip 6 but nothing beats Stereo. The clarity of instruments and hitting those guitar notes(John Mayer's Gravity) are just chef's kiss. Thank you for this video. I wouldn't even think of it if I didn't see this. I am only playing the speakers in my room. It's just too sweet.

@@lilcrisjan I have 2 xb100 and it outperforms the flip 5 in boomy bass, the flip 5 goes deeper, but the two xb100 is about as loud as the flip 5..

There's no contest here; the Charge 5 has the superior sound quality. However, the Flip 6's portable size and high audio quality make it my preferred option.

Overall the charge 5 sounds better with a better base and clarity, sonys is clear but lacks base depth.

is it me or does the two sony have more powerful punch then jbl speakers? obviously the charge and flip go deeper in bass but in the clip i hear the xb100 having louder punch
XB100 has really punchy upper bass for the size, but struggles with mid/low bass. It has more punch than my JBL Charge 4 on many songs.

The Sony sounds good, but even for me, who doesn't like listening to loud music, it doesn't have enough volume.
