Bc Retro has been playing the game on stream for the first time and he still hasn't finished it

HG/SS had a director that actually cared, and who went out of his way to deliver a quality game, even while his seniors, including Masuda, were asking him why he cared, and were saying that it was "just a remake".
GameFreak *really* needs new management, because the current people in charge are complacent, greedy, incompetent idiots.
The fact that Masuda stepped down to take a position at the Pokémon Company instead might be a blessing in disguise, since he won't have as direct an influence on the games anymore. Still not holding my breath for Scarlet and Violet, though.
