Wow, you say its the only known tape from Saugus? I have spent years trying to track down anyone who has the whole library from 1990 and 91. Thanks for posting this is classic!
Lisa Nevarez and I for 3 years was there every Saturday night filming the show, this was just one of shows that was aired on Prime Ticket. Yes sadly non of us kept a copy of the shows. The last year we were there we had 3 cameras with a production truck and live switched it and iso all cameras. Straight away, turn 1 and turn 3. The show was financed solely by Saugus Speedway. Some of the local track sponsors would buy some of the commercial break spots. In a way it was an informercial for Saugus Speedway to drive up seat attendance.
I visited the track when I was in Cali on vacation. Luckily I went when the flea market was opened. It’s a beautiful small track, so much history around it and I’m glad it’s still preserved to this day.
Hey Dale, Don't know if you remember me, but my name's Mike and Lysa rented our cable company truck out of Hollywood one summer to help you shoot at Saugus. I remember you as the daredevil at the straight-away lugging the handheld! I think fondly of that season and the adventures I had there for a bunch of Sat nights. Thanks for posting, as I go to show my 2 boys (both NASCAR fans) what Dad did one summer. Hope all's well with you! -Mike D.

@@ddalebeatyjr Not a Facebook guy, but I do Linked-In. Lysa and I communicated there some last year! Food highlight that I remember is the Saugus BBQ Chicken. Remember the smell deliciously wafting over our truck area!
