Keeping it real. Got to respect you posting the frustrating ones with the good ones. I don’t get much practice on mangroves so all mine look bad. And I’d be doing a lot of yelling and swearing at myself after the first one. But you probably knew that already
If you can consistently shoot mangs you can shoot anything. Sometimes they are dumb but most times they are very tricky. I have no problem showing the mess ups.
They certainly have a distinctive shape when they appear out of the gloom!! Smile and just get them next time.......one of those days. Have a good one!!
Nice clean water and great commentary. Glad to watch a new video. Any good shooter can have off production dive, especially targetting mangos in clear water when they are already shifty with Goliath and shark coasting around.
I found out after that there were two sharks but they bugged out when I powered headed the one. That’s typically how it works though which is a good thing.
What a mess, sorry mate, sometimes it's just like that. Lived it, suffer it and still hate it. Whenever this has happened to me, I always feel a little guilty, but in the end they will serve to feed other fish or a lobster, who knows. Nothing go to waste at sea except plastic. .
Those snappers are so hardy I’ve seen them with guts hanging out with the skin healed over around them still swimming fine. It’s unreal how strong they are and what will heal. The wild is strong that’s for sure.
Was just off my shot that dive. After you miss a couple, it’s hard to come back from it. I found when that happens it’s better to just go up and restart on the next dive. I always had the joke of turning my shirt inside out so they couldn’t recognize me and really it just got your mind off the last dive.

I just had a hard time on this dive for some reason. My shot was much better on the rest

Just shows I’m not perfect. I sent my buddy back down to clean up my cripples and he loaded up on snapper and got a nice black.
Maybe you need to sharpen those tips a little bit, IDK.... Nice ledge though!
