Not every Order 66 video has to be set to Anakin’s Betrayal (Music).
I wanted to go for a different approach on this one. Using the faster and more triumphant Jedi Temple March allowed me to be more creative with the edit and show a slightly different perspective to the Jedi Purge.
Originally I had tried using Anakin’s Betrayal & Anakin’s Dark Deeds but neither worked for the pacing of the video.
Good choice! It worked really well
Cinematic Captures this video is garbage.

The "Anakin's Betrayal" queue is the centuries old _Dies Irae_ theme. John Williams uses _Dies Irae_ to score death in tons of his films. There's a good reason why Order 66 is always set to that theme.

Thank you to Jedi Fallen Order and The Clone Wars for showing us how powerful force users can be when they get a fighting chance against the Clones

Henrique Correia-Wardle agree
so far
Agreed
I like the old republic stuff too
The first two prequel movies and some of the early Clone Wars arcs might be kind of awkward and silly, but from a story and lore perspective, the level of complexity of the prequel era is not matched anywhere else within Disney’s canon.
Hell, I even *like* the politics in the movies. I know people make fun of the “trade dispute” stuff, but I love knowing the complex political intrigue and conspiracy that lead to the war. I love that stuff in my fiction, seemingly-boring petty disputes and insignificant conflicts building up to be part of a greater conspiracy. I understand that most people don’t want that stuff in their Star Wars, as it really isn’t that fun to watch in a blockbuster popcorn movie, and would have just preferred three movies of the war, though. Which I could probably get behind if a series of books had expanded the political backdrop to the movies in more detail than movies would have allowed. I still want the Game of Thrones of Star Wars books, give me some complexity.
The Jedi council, Cal kestis, And now Ahsoka and Rex, This moment in the saga is way too damn sad 😭

what I only recently noticed is how Ki-adi-mundi gets shot by the droids as he's blocking the clones, hence he went down so easily
Damn i didnt notice that before
Poor guy, he was in the middle of the fire
Dark O-man That’s what Bacara planned, he had received the order earlier, and waited for him to be in the middle of the clones and droids, before fully executing Ki Adi Mundi
Good eye - He was extremely powerful head on
Droids: Did we win?
Sudious: Yes, but actually no
The mission, the nigthmares they're finally over

Rest in peace fives
Poor Fives may he Rest In Peace and 2:36 is such an awesome scene especially with the piano notes of the imperial march.... gave me chills
So this is how liberty dies. With thunderous applause.
While in everything else, we would've felt emotionless at clones being killed back by the Jedi, Clone Wars' shown that regardless of what their emotions towards Jedi were, they just had no other choice. That means, in the last episodes, I just couldn't pick a side, I wanted neither Ahsoka, nor the clones to die. Greatly done, by Filoni, and by you mate
Miwsky the correct sentence structure would’ve been “I wanted neither Asoka nor the clones to die”

@@emptyasmrman I'm happy we were given a perspective on how it looked for even the most loyal clones. None could have resisted, even if they knew it was wrong.
@@emptyasmrman As nice as that scene was it's from when clones did have a choice. In legends they had no chips and they knew they were going to help palpatine overthrow the republic.
I’ve been seeing a lot of Order 66 mash ups since the finale of Clone Wars, and for the most part they’re poorly cut together and kinda cringy, but I gotta say, this one is really well executed (no pun intended) and my favorite so far
cringy?
HalfCarnage just how a couple of the can be awkward with music not matching up with clips, setting a weird tone. Stuff like that
@@SnazzySazerac98 I kinda figured
Darth Porg’s cut is absolutely incredible.
You know what pains me the most about Order 66?
When I first witnessed it in theaters when ROTS came out, I hated the clones for turning on the Jedi.
But clone wars made be cry for the Jedi and the Clones
Neither of them won
@General Grievous yeah I was a huge Legends fan, but I will definitely say the inhibitor chips were honestly a good addition by canon. It makes the clone wars more of a gut punch.
You know some jedi are assholes that why they didn't hesitate
dark dragon - Yeah, some clones would have still executed the order without question, mainly because they hated their Jedi. Poor planning and terrible battle tactics on the Jedi’s part usually got many clones killed. Besides, which is more believable, the supreme chancellor orchestrated the whole war and is a sith, or that the Jedi were purposely using terrible tactics to kill their men to try take over the republic.
@General Grievous Legends clones did had chips. Lucas introduced them. And clone wars is also legends.
Palpy: HE HE HE HE HA HA HA HA GOOOOOOOOOOOD
HK-47 from KoTOR 2 on how to kill a jedi:
"Statement: Overwhelming odds is also a good tactic, master. There are few Jedi that can hold their ground assault against a hundred attackers all firing at once... *or being turned on by their own troops."*
I just checked, KOTOR 2 came out almost 6 months before Episode 3.
Anakin: Loyality means everything to the clones
Order 66: uno reverse card.
Well actually I don’t think it would be uno reverse card, I think that what Anakin said was foreshadowing what was going to happen, the clones were so loyal that they were willing to die just to not let the Jedi escape. Besides that, your joke was funny
Well they stayed loyal to him tho
Well when you think about it not really nice joke btw
Its basically showing how the clones are loyal to the republic but the jedi? everyone that isnt part of the order assumes that jedi pledge there loyalty to the republic but in reality there loyalty is to the force and in so if they where to kill the chancellor they would be called traitors for the republic wouldnt even care if he was a sith or not do to the fact it's not illegal but it is against the jedi code in which case the clones think the jedi betrayed there loyalty and it might be true but at the same time what your loyal to is not understood to those who cant understand it for legit all the clones arent force users so they would never understand to them it's just a power that could go out of hand and destroy there great nation
I was referring to when the clones turned on the Jedi
@@hugomventura periods are a wonderful thing. You didn't use a single one.
The minute I saw this pop up on my timeline, I clicked right away! Did not disappoint! Omg, and the Younglings!
I didn't realize how depressing this actually was until both the clone wars and fallen order, you really get to feel more for the jedi when it is focusing on a single person, not multiple.
The reason was the jedi order in general was full of arrogance and poor decisions. They knew of the Inhibitor chips but chose to keep it secret and not act on it to keep up appearances. Individual Jedi like Ashoka and Cal are shown to be innocent in the turmoil and thus earn audience sympathy.

Does anyone also feel sad for the clones of the 501st that died during the cruiser crash at the end of episode 12 of CW season 7? :( Those brave men just followed orders and thought they were fighting for the right cause... Remember how Jesse fearlessly said they would stand their ground to the death? Even thinking about it gives me chills... It is so tragic that everyone became a victim of Palpatine’s evil grand plan. May you rest in peace, loyal troopers of the 501st clone battalion of the grand army of the Republic!!!
The Clone army forever in our hearts!
FOR THE REPUBLIC!!!
332nd not 501st, 332nd is a division within the 501st commanded by Commander Rex.
Kevin Morieno Still part of the 501st
What made it even more sad was Ashoka still refused to kill the clones. Even when they turned on her she didn’t want to kill them. I know she found out about the inhibitor chip but still.
Also, we can see Jesse trying to stand down along with the other clones but the programming takes over almost instantly. The clones didn’t want to kill Ashoka either, but their programming kept forcing them to.
for the republic :(
Kevin Morieno the 322nd is a Unit within the 501st
Sad to see how the clones their sole purpose was to win the war but they were never meant to win it, this is perfectly captured in the last frame, symbolizing the empire and Vader discarding the clones after they have outlived their usefulness.
Vader never discarded the clones, the 501st remained made up of mainly clones well into the empire
i never get tired watching TCW season 7 again and again, its beautiful !! ... and also sad, RIp 332nd company and Jesse , u were good soldiers !
Imagine being A Jedi Padawan no more than age 12 to 16 during the final days of the Clone Wars. You just finished up your part in the outer rim sieges and you hope that the war could be over soon with the information that Count Dooku and General Grievous have been killed. On the venator class Star destroyer back to Coruscant, You're playing a game of Dejarik (that hologram game in episode 4) with the clone troopers you've been fighting alongside with for three plus years. The clones are starting to get agitated and salty that they can't win and they leave in frustration. You start bragging about how you are a force demigod and no one can beat you. You then decide to go to sleep in your private quarters and as you're sleeping you hear many voices crying out in despair and finality, men, women, and children all the same. You wake up, terrified, borderline crapping in your pants and you decide you need someone to talk to because you're scared and you need to be comforted. You race down the halls of the ship to find the clones that were your friends and tell them what you heard and you can't go back to sleep and you need to have some company. When you find the clones that you were playing with, you call out to them by their names but they don't answer you. They don't even budge slightly. You think they're still mad that you whooped their asses in that hologram game. you then decide to walk up behind them only to see them standing over two dead Jedi. One was a recently promoted Jedi Knight, a close friend of yours that you grew up with and trained with in the Jedi Temple. The other was your master, who took you under his/her wing to complete the rest of your Jedi trials after your previous master was killed a year earlier, both of which have blaster bolt burn markings engraved into the side of their heads. And then they turn to you, whispering "good soldiers follow orders"as they prime their blasters faster than you can have time to get over your confusion and activate your lightsaber/lightsabers. The clones you were friends with gun you down and you are fatally injured. Before they can continue to load your already failing body with more blaster bolts one thing comes to mind before you cease to be apart of the living force, one final train of thought before you breathe your last and you only have one question running through your mind...
"Why?"
9 Months Later & This Is Still My Favourite Star Wars Edit
Amazing how something so vast and tragic can happen within a couple of mins *like even when you read the Vader comics you go in awe
last time i was this early, the jedi were still around
I am... semi-speechless!

As always, another incredible video. Order 66 is such a great but sad moment in Star Wars and I am so thankful to have seen it explored once more in Jedi: Fallen Order and The Clone Wars. Seeing them line up with the movies is also very cool.
1:38 Imagine people who haven't seen the Clone War be thinking "Why is that clone helping the Jedi?"
honestly I feel sorry for those people. Some of the best Star Wars out there, especially in this sad new era.
“With the fall of Coruscant and the elimination of the traitorous Jedi, Palpatine's rise to power was complete. In recognition of our service and loyalty to the Emperor, the 501st were placed under the direct command of Lord Vader. Armed with deadly new weapons, blazing new ships, and shiny new armor, our presence let the galaxy know that the days of the Old Republic were well and truly over. We were establishing a new era, an era of order and peace.” -Retired Clone Trooper
This was done so well. I loved how the Temple March slowly had the beats of the Imperial March near the end. Thank you for this video. Still not over the fact that the Clone Wars ended
Anakin: loyaltie means everything to the clones
2hrs later...
Which is the video
Just wanted to say at 2:10 it looks like Maul pulls the ship down into the gravitational pull like Starkiller did and that's badass
This actually gave me goosebumps because it was too epic.
Doesn't matter how many different ways they show order 66 it still breaks every fans' heart. Cal, Ahsoka and the main Purge on Coruscant. It all adds to the horror of that day.
Jesse and all the clones in this series will be forever remembered in our hearts
People are so creative these days, this is AWESOME!!
Ah yes, “the revenge of the Fifth” is near
They should have a day about the sith naming revenge of the fith after star wars day
The ending with Vader's breathe was chilling. The buildup with the black screen, and the rumbling finale of the music was just perfect.
2:35 the piano part of the Empire theme bring me chills
This video was absolutely incredible. This mixed views of each force user in Order 66 actually is much cooler than how Revenge Of The Sith showed it
The real question is how did Rex meet commander Wolfe After order 66
What I love about this is that one order sent an entire galaxy into chaos for years
How tho
Its amazing how the animated show and game look better than the movie
It's insane to think how this events happened almost if not actually simultaneously.
In Star Wars lore, this is the absolute most significant historic event in galactic history.
i recently started playing kotor and now I truly understand this was the most devastating moment ever Sidious managed to do what none before could all with one command no conquests, no good vs evil, just a war of puppets turned into a massacre
Jedi: brutally gets killed.
music: EPICNESS
It's been years since we were first introduced to order 66 and it still has a huge impact on us.
The clone wars is the best star wars will ever be.
Hearing the 'what have I Done?' In Matt’s voice makes me so badly want a recreation of ROTS, animated like the clone wars. (This is coming from someone who loves rtos).
And air im theaters
This video hands down the best mash up. The feels is strong with this one.
"ONCE MORE THE SITH WILL RULE THE GALAXY, and we shall have peace..."
If they ever do a Clone Wars Spin-off, It’d be nice to have it focus on Caleb Dume (Kanan Jarrus) and his experiences during Order 66. The comic books were very interesting, and it would be nice to see that story animated.
Clone trooper:can kill the members of jedi high council
Also clone trooper:can't kill a padawan and a captain.
The clones relied on surprise tactics to kill the Jedi. Ahsoka survived because she had some warning of what was happening when she sensed Anakin’s turn to the dark side. Also Rex dropped his helmet and ordered the others to let him kill her. Once the element of surprise was gone the clones had to rely on aggressive tactics to hunt down the Jedi. Ahsoka and Rex used this tunnel vision to escape.
This music makes Order 66 feel triumphant rather than sad, which is quite unusual. I like it. It's like it's from Palpatine's perspective because he is one of the only people that won in the clone wars. Everyone else, excluding a few officers like Tarkin, lost everything.
Girls:Men never know what sadness is.

This deserves more views, this is honestly fantastic and is one of if not THE best clone wars mashup of all time in my opinion
Legend has it that the clones are still pelting Aayla Secura's body with blaster bolts
The thing I love about Order 66 is that it leaves a permanent mark on all the major characters during that period. All of them have experienced it in their own tragic way. And when we are given new stories set before the Empire’s rise, there’s this feeling of dread because we all are waiting to hear Sidious say the dreaded command
Honestly the music makes it so much better, I recognized it as the Samuel Kim version instantly.
Edit: Removed music link as I just realized it's already in the video description.
This was AMAZING. So sad to see it all in one whole video but at the same time, it was beautiful
This is better than the the last three trailers of star wars
Here is something many people may not think about: many of the Jedi that were killed were high council members. Knights like Ki Adi Mundi were permanent members on the council. Mundi specifically was the third highest member of the council ranking below Mace Windu. Even he couldn’t hold his ground against a squad of Galactic Marines. Ofc he may hav been in shock same with many other Jedi. They were being shot at by their friends. But it also shows u how powerful clones are. Tarkin was foolish when he shifted the Imperial Army and Navy from a clone lead force to a conscription led force.
This is maybe the saddest moment in the cinematic history💔💔😢
Frodo leaving Middle Earth be like
No, this is the best moment!
Haven't watched a lot of films have you?
I can’t stress how well 00:55 to 1:31 go well together. Darth Vader being a villain, Jaro Tapal being a hero and Darth Maul being a badass.

What was said about order 66 in revenge of the sith novel and Jedi who survived
Even after watching nearly every video about s7e12 after I just watched the episode yd I still instantly cry when I see Jesse's Helmet, Ashoka infront of the buried clones, her activating her lightsaber or Rex hesitating about order 66.
