Started a 100 Heroic Necro and man am I lost as to where what I should be doing to be efficient and have good DPS when I need it..this will help. Anyway, 2 things I ran into which might help people and you may have mentioned it and I missed it.. I had to go onto the EQ game and type "/log on" to get the file of my toon to show up...unsure if it activated for all toons or just that one. Also--on the EQLOGPARSER APP, I had to click View, Damage then Damage Overlay off and then back on again before it showed up on screen for live dps info...kindof a toggle thing and then it worked. I’ve been watching your videos lately and they are super helpful. I just came back to the game, fresh start Shadowknight and Shaman combo on FV and it’s a lot of fun. I watched your armor video last week and It’s great, but there were so many armors to consider. Is there a set that you can work on to get you to 100 or something instead of getting new stuff every 5 levels?
Hi, Thanks for watching. This video here: th-cam.com/video/kwOV-VHB7Eo/w-d-xo.html will get you setup with a base set of armor you can get at 75 and use until 105+. You will need to upgrade the augs along the way. The currency is tradable and on FV I bet the augs are tradable also. This armor would be best group gear 75-105 I am pretty sure. You would still need to update augs every 5 levels, that's just the nature of the game. I personally used this armor till 110 on my SK.
That’s just 2 chat windows with the transparency on full. I have copies of my UI on my discord. It kinda falls apart at high levels due how much spam goes in it. It’s on readable on my 125 monk. I have since removed it from most of my characters.
@hammackj currently sitting here debating on starting a 2nd account to box....ive done it long ago and said I wouldn't again but solo leveling a Ranger to 62 has helped me change my mind 🤣 now that the merc is actually taking some damage, I sense a pretty big slow down coming soon
Around 75 the game starts to slow down. I always box on live. TLP you can get groups for a while but most people are max level on live. You can get to 110+ solo it will just take sometime. A box can speed it up just depends on how you want to play.
Does it do anything better, or give more info than Gamparse? Gamparse was always the EQ parser back in the day, so thats what I went to grab... but It's no ACT. ACT (for eq2) was an exceptional parse program and really wish the guy would add an eq plugin. Has triggers (like you mentioned for GINA) and it's layout is beautiful...
@@hammackj yeh I may have a look at it, Gamparse is showing it's age. Advanced Combat Tracker though... wanna know how much of your DPS is kick, damage shield, special attacks? ACT does that... I should check to see if he added an eq plugin like I begged him so many years ago.

Is the smashed and smashing part of the parse program or separate? If separate....how the heck did you do that?!?!?!

Feels more modern than gamparse, at least the version I used. The author of this one is considering GINA style triggers.
