Thanks for the video. Can you tell me if you are able to remove the chrome trim of the cup holders? Mine is peeling and would like to know if I can just replace the chrome or I have to replace the entire center piece. Thanks again
I believe you need to replace the whole center piece, but you can try by removing the shifter bezel, disconnecting the wiring harnesses, flip the shifter bezel over and you should see four screws holding the cup holders to the shifter bezel. Remove those screws and you should have access to your chrome cup holder ring. Thanks for Watching!
So, I know in older Jeep Grand Cherokees (and other Jeeps) if you removed the HVAC panel and replaced it again and some of the knobs were repositioned, then the blend doors would fail and you had to perform a series of button presses to reset the system and recalibrate it. Is this necessary in the newer ones?
If you purchase the entire shifter assembly it SHOULD be as simple as removing the shifter bezel, locating the shifter assembly, removing the wiring harness and 4 bolts securing the mono shifter assembly and replacing it with the new assembly that you have purchased. Also, I am not sure if it needs to be programmed to the vehicle. I have not replaced the mono shifter in this vehicle. Thanks for watching
The yaw rate sensor is usually located under the driver or passenger seat of the vehicle mounted on the level floorboard in order to access the vehicle's center of gravity. Thanks for Watching!!
The cup holder lights on my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee stopped working. Do I need to replace the whole console or is it possible to replace the section with the burned out lights? Great video! Thank you.
It's recommended procedure to disconnect your car battery before making any electrical changes. This is a good safety measure because an accidental short could take place while making changes. In reality you can often disconnect something like the radio without much risk of damage and speakers are extremely low risk since they are not connected directly to the battery. But it is so much better to be safe and disconnect the battery. There's a .01% chance something could go wrong but it is better to be safe than sorry. Thanks for Watching!!
This video is incorrect for the 2019 and 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee ( and possibly the 2017- 2018, not sure). The shifter is completely different, and connot be removed from the top as shown.
Simple with music and straight to the point. Thumbs up 👍
Every vehicle fix video should be like this one
I probably watched 14 videos before this one, got annoyed and almost abandoned my project. Great job!
Glad you found the video helpful

Is there one on how to remove cluster panel? Thansk
Is there a way to remove that little flip door that is right below the dash? Mine is open all the time, I’d like to just remove it if I can
I would like to know this as well.
If you don't want to save the door, then cut the door itself in half and discard. Problem solved.😊
Do you have a full dash removal steering wheel and all I’m having some troubles
That was excellent! Thanks.
Can you upgrade the monoshifter to the 2016 one?

You didn't even remove the dash
This is similar to a 2019-2020, but not the same.

The video is correct at 01:31 it says it only for 14,15 model years also mentioned in the description

The title says dash removal but all you did was take out the center console
