Yo. For real. I went to Sleepy Hollow cemetery about two weeks ago for the first time since I was a kid. My gf and I were kind of drunk and apparently I disrespected the Bronze Lady and took a rock from the road nearby. We were haunted by a fucking POLTERGEIST for a week until we went back and I made amends with her. Some of the shit that went on during that week includes: My gf hearing a storage trunk creak open and slam closed - we don't have a storage trunk, a waking dream of her standing in the corner of my living room and every time I blinked she got closer until I woke up in terror and had the feeling of someone staring at me (she was dressed in white, super pale, and had silver eyes), the feeling of something pressing against my foot when it was off of the bed, a wizard candle being visibly thrown off of a shelf and then having it magically returned to that shelf the day after, the door to my apartment closing on its own (there is carpet and that door will stay wherever you put it), my friend whose never experienced the paranormal telling me that she felt the air was "heavy" and that there was definitely something in our apartment, and the fucking coup de gras - a HANDPRINT on the mirror in my bedroom. We returned the rock, profusely apologised, and left her a bunch of pennies as an offering (apparently she really likes pennies) and everything has been hunky dory since. That was the most terrifying week of my life and the whole experience is burned into mine and my gf's heads forever. Lesson. Fucking. Learned. Don't ever fuck with "supposedly" haunted shit, even if you don't really believe in that sort of thing.
Did you know there was a girl who came here on Halloween by herself and heard crying and the she traced the crying down and then saw the bronze lady then the crying stopped and the girl sat down on the bronze lady's lap then the girl touched the bronze lady's face and... IT WAS WET then the girl realized the statue was the one that was weeping or crying
