Wow Steve, what a haul of magnificent carp of huge proportions from one incredible lake. Parco Del Brenta has got to be on every big carp anglers wish list after seeing your result on there, those fish are mint. Sat here with an achilles injury I won't be seeing the bank for a while but watching you hauling makes it all the more bearable💯😍

Hello Steve , you mention in your video and I’ve read articles from you steve that you are not a pop up fan and would rather match your bottom bait boilies , just like to ask about how you get away from crayfish problems in Europe? Do you mesh up your normal rigged bottom baits or do you use harder baits ? Any insight would be helpful for me as going to a crayfish problem lake . Great vids steve and an inspirational attitude to carping

Hi Steven I don't find crayfish to be a real problem even when there are lots of them. They will still eat pop ups anyway - even zig rigged baits, which they somehow pull down by walking on the line :-) Normally what I do is to roll some larger hook baits between 20mm and 30mm and leave them to air dry for a couple of weeks so that they are very hard, they will withstand just about all crayfish problems for long enough. If you are still unsure then its always worth just along a few tiger nuts or even plastic baits but I rarely find them necessary

When I go fishing one of the things I enjoy is the peace and quiet. Why there is a trend to play annoying background music all over an otherwise tranquil video is baffling. Great videos, great fishing just leave the music for the car journey.
