I have been married for 25 years, November 1st is our very first date of 26 years. We both have been through hell and back again, together, as our vows said, "Through sickness and health", and baby we have been through Cancer, trauma, near death, amputation, job loss, hospital stays, surgeries, being told he one year to live and living way past that, going on 7.5 years so far, countless CAT scans, countless biopsies, countless scars, countless MRIs, countless PET scans, therapy, and so much more, we are together for the better, we struggle, we hurt, we feel pain, we have seen death amongst our family and friends, we have seen divorce in our family and friends lives, but through it all, we are still standing together, in it for life.
My husband of 39 yrs passed away just a few months ago...i found this song by accident and it took my breath away. Felt like it was made for us. I miss him everyday. This song reminds me of all our great times; and my craziness he always knew how to take the edges off.
My husband died 6 years ago….I just stumbled across this song and it reminded me is us so much. I pray you find strength to overcome the sadness, and comfort in knowing you’ll be with him again one day 💔
