I found myself today walking around my kitchen humming all these songs, reminiscing on the joy of the holidays I felt as a kid. So I decided to look up "Christmas Lights From the 90s with music". This was the first video that popped up. This was my Christmas music box and lights. I can't explain it, but while listening to this I could actually smell the pine needles from the Christmas trees of my childhood. This truly blessed me.
Bro you have no idea how nostalgic this is. This fills me with all sorts of emotions at once; sadness, happiness, excitement, dread. The negative feelings come from relationships that never worked out. The positive ones come from the music, the Christmas parties my family had, the gifts received and given, jokes told. Holy shit, man. Everything hits me at once.

I never expected to cry when I heard these, but the tears are flowing down my face as I try to make sense of a mix of emotions that range from happiness to sadness and everything in between. My mom always made Christmas so special, and still does for her grandkids, but nothing can ever replace those childhood Christmas memories and the excitement and wonder I felt as I sat in front of our Christmas tree and watched these lights flash, the music playing, my head filled with wonder about what would be waiting for me under the tree as I counted down to that morning. I think ours were color lights, but the music was the same. How beautiful. The first song was always my favorite. You can't ever go back, I wish I could remember every moment forever. wow i remember these hanging up in my moms out and i used to love them. the music chiming through the house , the fire burning in the fireplace with stockings hanging, christmas lights strung, snow outside and just being full of excitement not being able to sleep all night....such good memories...hate how fast life goes...

My family has these exact lights, except they are multi-colored! We got them in the early 90's, (so it's been almost or about 30 years) and they still work! I could never imagine a Christmas without them.❤🎄

Incredible how on the first song i knew exactly what was going to play next... We had those in the multiple trees we had... Then my parents bought a fiberoptic tree which had lights already integrated... Then my dad then put these lights outdoors in our entrance.... He still has those lights but the music box has long gone stopped working... This video just makes me happy to remember how such benign christmas lights can have such an impact on our lives. The wire to the speaker may have become detached and is fairly easy to repair or the speaker may have gone out and Amazon sells has a small speakers that may work
I remember these when I was a child about 7 or 8 and growing up, Id lay on the couch in my parents living room in the dark and listen to this and fall asleep, I’m 31 now I just wish I can share the feeling with my kids 😥
I moved to a house 8 years ago and they had left these same lights in their garage still hanging. When I turned them on to see if they still worked, I was in shock! I nearly cried because it was all these memories of wanting these as a child and never been able to afford them. I’d walk by rich people house and would see them twinkle with these songs on. It was so so sad but here I was with these strings in my garage. I was too afraid to take them down and just a few months ago when I moved out I did what I was dreading. I took them down and put them in a bag, just hoping I didn’t ruin them. This year I’m putting them up in my new house! Thanks for sharing your video!

My child hood the same exact musical lights we had on our tree as a kids still remember each song sequence from the top of my memory it used to put me and my sisters and brother to sleep sleeping in the front room with the tree on and playing music while our angel opened and close her arms and wings and turned her head I miss those days I'm now 29

I found the same Christmas lights at goodwill (second hand store) for only $2.99 3yrs ago , I was soo very happy when I stumbled upon em! I still have the musical lights

Incredible how on the first song i knew exactly what was going to play next... We had those in the multiple trees we had... Then my parents bought a fiberoptic tree which had lights already integrated... Then my dad then put these lights outdoors in our entrance.... He still has those lights but the music box has long gone stopped working... This video just makes me happy to remember how such benign christmas lights can have such an impact on our lives. Thankx for this video !
The wire to the speaker may have become detached and is fairly easy to repair or the speaker may have gone out and Amazon sells has a small speakers that may work

I remember these when I was a child about 7 or 8 and growing up, Id lay on the couch in my parents living room in the dark and listen to this and fall asleep, I’m 31 now I just wish I can share the feeling with my kids 😥

I moved to a house 8 years ago and they had left these same lights in their garage still hanging. When I turned them on to see if they still worked, I was in shock! I nearly cried because it was all these memories of wanting these as a child and never been able to afford them. I’d walk by rich people house and would see them twinkle with these songs on. It was so so sad but here I was with these strings in my garage. I was too afraid to take them down and just a few months ago when I moved out I did what I was dreading. I took them down and put them in a bag, just hoping I didn’t ruin them. This year I’m putting them up in my new house! Thanks for sharing your video!

I would spend all day in the living room laying on the couch and looking at the Christmas tree lights. waiting everyday for Christmas. I really had nothing else to do as it was just me and my grandma in the house. Good times.
My child hood the same exact musical lights we had on our tree as a kids still remember each song sequence from the top of my memory it used to put me and my sisters and brother to sleep sleeping in the front room with the tree on and playing music while our angel opened and close her arms and wings and turned her head I miss those days I'm now 29
