The fog + hide combo may only have two charges, but if you have 4 characters with the same build, you end up with 8, and you only need 1 charge for the entire team.
An alternative I've found is that you can have the darkness arrows and shoot those. Hit your first target to start combat with it. Then just shoot once more and end your turn hiding in it. No multiclass needed. No spell casting either though.
I absolutely loved this video. The funny joke builds that are viable are always cool to see and try. I REALLY love the jump based build cause I like going fast and far for no reason. I'm liking build 3 but changing up fighter for war cleric. Essentially sacrificing the 1 AC for war priest charges and spell slot. Feel cleric pairs much more nicely with sorc having create water along with the ice/lightning spells or any ice/lightning attacks. Having pretty much the same defence but more flexibility and choice for an extra attack seems even more OP!!! Can obviously respec at any point when you go up the levels but a cleric dip early is so strong!!! Later on, having the Blur sorc mixed with swords bard and defensive flurry with high AC would be ridiculous. You'd lose heavy armour prof, but should reach AC of 26-28 with defensive flurry and choices of equipment. Have a cleric cast warding bond and choose war caster as a feat and nothing is doing anything to you. Going 9 swords Bard to get hold monster and 3 Sorc and then using hat of arcane acuity and ring of mystic scoundrel means you can CC anything in the game, you're unhittable and have a balance between magic and melee
for the Hamarhraft builds, you should use the Speedy Lightfeet (dush grant you lightning charge) insteads. it only give 1 lightning damage but it's 25%+ boost at the level....
Realy like this video. It’s getting harder and harder to find new and interesting builds and mechanics that I don’t already know so i really like the hole video and that every build as a synergy with each other
Hi FireSpark. About Hanarhraft jump build - Flight counts as jump for this hammer. If you have wizard/sorc. in your party with Flight spell and take 3 lvl thief(2 add.action) you could speed up yourself 3 times till 60-80 meters travel. And flight uses only 1m for travel near. So (1-4)*60 = 60-240 damage for 1 turn on lvl4.
something i never get used to playing any DnD based-game, is how difficult the beginning early game is, especially if you are lvl 1 wizard or sorc. now my experience is mostly on video games-based DnD, but the fact that I have to cheese early game builds (looking at you Pathfinder) and then respec later is kinda off-putting. Then you hit like level 6 and suddenly you are OP and enemies don't scale anymore.
Don't forget to turn off the jump damage while not in battle or it will be painful. Lol. Wait till you forget, because you will at some point. And go jumping somewhere and your party gets damaged I did it and it was fun for while. Eventually switched builds though cause it does get old after a while
Seems this guide is focused on single builds, so a Throw Barb with Tavern Brawler is still OP at level 4. Ring of Flinging, Caustic Band, Returning Pike, Broodmother's Amulet, The Water Sparkers. As far as team builds, not much can survive a team of four level 2 Light Clerics spamming Radiance of Dawn. Add 2 levels of Bard for extra short rests and you are truly spreading God's word :)
@@Firespark81throw barb still does quite a bit more damage than your rogue fog cloud build for example, and a lot more damage than your high ac build. Moonbeam + sanctuary glitch is likely to be patched out at some point, and hameraft jump is effective but boring since you're spending minutes making a single turn. Overall, none of these builds are as good as a berserker thrower personally.
I gave build 2 a try. I found that they hit me with fog cloud. doing a warlock 3/rogue 1 was better as they would TRY to target me in darkness but fail to hit, meaning I didn't have to hide and Devil's sight meant I could just stay in the darkness
You can also just pick 4 moon druids with tavern brawler that are half orcs. Most of the time ur knocked out of form, you can just shift back due to at worst getting knocked to 1 hp. You can still get got after that, before you can change, but it is rare.
@@westenev Yeah I get that, but now that your dex modifier doesn't automatically apply to offhand attacks, dual wielding hand crossbows doesn't seem like it'll be better than using the Titanstring Bow with the Club of Hill Giant's Strength as a stat stick.
@@ascendedsleeper5693 BUT it does come with the caveat that the build comes online at level 3 if you have someone who can cast the spell in your party (wizard/druid), simply by visiting the grove and the goblin camp for green handcrossbows. Because we aren't (total) cowards, and are looking to fight Dhorn and the Gnolls ASAP on the way to getting the titanstring bow/club of hill giant strength.
@@westenev If you leave the Fog Cloud casting to a party member, they'll still need to have either 2-3 levels in Rogue or Ranger to get the bonus action sneak, otherwise enemies will just target the caster and make them lose concentration right? The whole point of the sneak bonus action was to avoid that happening.
@@ascendedsleeper5693 Honestly, with a bit of planning, this is really a non-issue. Throw spikes (Druid) over a choke point and keep your caster (Wizard Gale, I guess?) safe. This tactic has lead to some hilarious battles (Both in the goblin camp and underdark) where the AI decides to suicide on the spikes, or just stands there waiting to get sneak attacked from behind. This DID however become a problem in limited space encounters like the Dwagar boat, but by that point you're level 4 and can multiclass.
Yes, ill respec my team now i have half items for now, just to google the rest and have some fuuunnn ❤ that cleric , fog archer and jumper would be perfect addition for my main to cheeze the game some more , ill literaly run 4 solo beasts and swap them when they need long rest 😂❤
For the three levels of sorcerer, if the only thing that matters is the meta-magic for blur, why draconic ancestry instead of storm for the free flight for added maneuverability? What benefit does Draconic give for a tank? Or does Storm not get blur or something? Also, after level 4 do you recommend just dumping levels into fighter for the rest of the build? I’m looking for a simple-to-use character that’s still effective and I like tanks.
No matter the build I get stuck on the goblin leaders. I still keep trying though. I’m on my 5th playthrough. I’m going to try this build and hopefully it saves me.
They aren't so bad. Gut is easy. Take her down while she's alone in her room. Karlach finishes her in one hit or Laezel in one or two hits. Same with Minthara. She's alone with one or two goblins. Easy. Then close the door to the final boss and clear the outside so they can't run in. The final Boss I always hit the three or four furthest Goblins with an AOE and eliminate them in one turn BEFORE the fight initiates. After that it's gravy. If you are a Sorcerer and have Wyll then it's literally a joke.
For the Dror Ragzlin room i placed three fire barrels next to each other. Cast minor illusion in the middle of the barrels so the whole room grouped to it and then shot a fire arrow.
Can someone rate my BG3 team? (First gameplay) -Gale: 8/16/14/16/12/8 (Divination) Arcana / History / Religion / Investigation + Nature or Stealth? -Lae'zel: 17/14/16/8/10/8 (BM or Eldritch Knight 6 and Divination Wizard 6) Athletics, Perception, Survival and Intimidation (Ability to get all Dex skills) -Shadowheart: 10/14/16/10/16/8 (Trickery Domain) Religion, Insight, Medicine + History or Persuasion? -Me: 10/18/16/10/14/16 (Gloves of Dex / College of Swords) Insight, Persuasion, Sleight of Hand, Perception + Deception or Acrobatics?
You don’t need Gale as pure wiz because the way wizard learns spell in bg3 as long as you multiclass into other caster besides warlocks. Don’t need Sheart on trickery. You don’t actually need a dedicated healer. More damage = faster fights, meaning you don’t need to sit there and try to ping pong your teammates from down to up to down
you need a barbarian that takes the subclass to increase ally movement speed within 8 meters. when you enter and leave the radius you will gain movement speed and regain your jump and bonus action!
Dexterity eldritch knight is very tanky, has 20 ac with mage armor and a shield, can use shield spell as reactionary for 25 ac, and is tanky to hold concentration.
what about a dex/cha build for your main. So you face and sneak/steal with your main and all your other 3 chars can just be super indexed into killing machines. I was thinking pact blade warlock/thief rogue I was thinking adding monk so you can do flury with your extra thief actions and wisdom is very important for your main character. I'm thinking, with dex gloves, you can dump your dex stat and get your free +4ac from dex, Go human and rogue for your first level to get all those delicious extra skills. Then level 2 go warlock level 3 go monk. level 4 go warlock with dex gloves and your +2 and hag hair you can have 18 dex/cha/wis. that's 18ac. mage armor makes that 21 bracers makes that 23 and armor of argathys for if they do happen to get thru. You can also use that giants club, to make up for dumping your str as well, and the int crown from the ogre means you can have a ridiculously stated character that can be your face and not require item slots that can then be used by your other characters, and can sneak/steal. 5 warlock for pact blade for charisma to be your damage stat and the extra attack. 4rogue for thief subclass for extra action and feat. 3 monk for flury, wisdom to ac. 4 ki points and way of the shadow subclass abilities. Wondering what ya think? Also, curious if you would be interested in building a 'super ultra multiclass' builld. I saw a guy who built a charisma build with sorc/bard/paly/warlock/cleric/wizard. I think* and then i think he went bard secrets? so he used cleric/wizard to get non wis/int spells and the free stuff you get from sorc/paly/warlock since they are so front loaded and then used bard to get the 2 uber spells. BUT, I was thinking that a 4fighter/4rogue/1monk/1sorc/1cleric/1paly could be sick. But, I like that because all of the classes are so front-loaded, it's very interesting how much you can abuse that, by taking just 1 level in a class for the first, maybe 5 or 6 levels, to maximize all that frontloaded power, then focus on one class for the rest of the game to access the bigger stuff you can get access to later in your class. I was even thinking if you went 6 class level 1's, and then 6 levels in fighter, so you get the extra attack and still get 2 feats, while getting all that front loaded stuff from all the other 6 levels/classes.
When I first leveled up the cleric/druid build, I added a subclass of druid but why do I get level 2 cleric/1druid and not 1 cleric/2 druid like in the video?
@@kitkami I watched it again, and he does say they have to be in your party. I'm trying to figure out how that works with this build and the concentration required for everything else to work. I might be able to give the thunder jump member a level of cleric to pull it off, but I'm not sure if that will break the build later in game.
I'm a complete noob to this game I recently bought it a few days ago, so I'm really curious... does your race choice matter on any of these builds particularly??
When you create a race if you scroll down to the abilities under you can read what each of them do in not sure what race is the fastest but a faster race might benefit the last build some
My best advice for a new player to the D&D world is to remember this is a game of strategy and patience. So be sure to read everything and take your time. Take the time to understand the dice as well. For instance 1d4 would be the roll of 1 4 sided die.
@LyranVega no problem! Once you get it down it's super addicting. I'd maybe look up a good character build online to help with getting you going first playthrough. The tavern brawler monk is one of the easiest to use builds and great for getting used to things. Gotta play on at least balanced difficulty though to multiclass.
Try using four party members with 2 light cleric/2 bard. You get to use 4 radiance of the dawn (huge AOE) per short rest. and you will have 7 short rests per day.

It's a great build to begin fights and pick off a few annoying enemies before sending in your whole team. I'd actually suggest going circle of moon instead of land, because even if you miss the extra spell slot, Dire Raven at level 5 is amazing for exploration and speedrunning waypoints/ceremonial weapons at the Githyanki creche. Plus, bear form is a great way to spend your "sanctuary blocked" turn. After level 5 I would probably respec into a light cleric or something, because you should have all the broken OP gear from grymforge/underdark/gith creche to create a dodge/debuff tank with all the radiant orb/reverberation gear.
the game has tremendous power creep, i level to 12 before I got the last two gems and continued to walk over many foes with my insane ac and damaging attacks, this was in balanced mode. They said that they felt that giving higher levels was too much, I would say so with all the montyhaul treasures you guys gave out or presented to buy. As a dm looking at this game there is way too many magical items and powerful ones as well, just cutting them down is not enough. I mean come on facing an arch devil on his home plan and an avatar for the god of death all should be epic levels not 10 to 12.

Then you hit like level 6 and suddenly you are OP and enemies don't scale anymore.
that last build .... what a painfull way to play the game
Absolutely 😂
BUNNYHAMMER! xD
Don't forget to turn off the jump damage while not in battle or it will be painful. Lol. Wait till you forget, because you will at some point. And go jumping somewhere and your party gets damaged
I did it and it was fun for while. Eventually switched builds though cause it does get old after a while
these are actually some awesome and creative builds. I look forward to trying them
Seems this guide is focused on single builds, so a Throw Barb with Tavern Brawler is still OP at level 4.
Raphaël fight would be a pain for such team to be honest, with reverb radiant and high resistance or immunity to fire damage.
@@kalzhae Early game builds specifically. You can easily respecc once you've cleared the gob camp.
You know they nerf throw bard right. You don't get a bunch of extra damage from tavern brawler anymore. Just the normal amount.
@@kalzhae My comment was regarding the video's limitations, which was up to level 4. Raphael is not level 4.
I want to see full jumping build.
You can still get got after that, before you can change, but it is rare.
can you do a video of how to do the complete build for the cleric/druid build please!
I too would love to see a complete druid build. Love your vids man. Keep up the good work. =)
Why not pick Ranger for the fog cloud build?
You can get fog cloud and the Gloomstalker's bonus action hide skill all by level 3.
My guess is that by taking Thief, you can use hand crossbows.
Actually legit thanks man 1st one is actually broken😂
That last build is really creative. Good job.
Yes, ill respec my team now i have half items for now, just to google the rest and have some fuuunnn ❤ that cleric , fog archer and jumper would be perfect addition for my main to cheeze the game some more , ill literaly run 4 solo beasts and swap them when they need long rest 😂❤
the Hamarhraft build is BRUTAL
For the three levels of sorcerer, if the only thing that matters is the meta-magic for blur, why draconic ancestry instead of storm for the free flight for added maneuverability? What benefit does Draconic give for a tank? Or does Storm not get blur or something? Also, after level 4 do you recommend just dumping levels into fighter for the rest of the build? I’m looking for a simple-to-use character that’s still effective and I like tanks.
Draconic sorceror gains some additional HP, thats all i can really think of.
Bro with aspect of the elk you can have unlimited movement speed. So unlimited thunder jumps
Why extended spell for blur? Seems unnecessary. Could've gone Wizard and have eldrich knight synergies. Plus abjuration school.
I'm seeing some warmaster synergy though (for level 6+). Can't they counterattack if the opponent misses their attack?
Just what I needed for my honor run
Good luck! May the dice rolls be in your favor!
QUESTION: Is the Blurr Fighter something you can do to any of the companions or specific to Shadowheart ?
please add some time stamp

(First gameplay)
-Gale: 8/16/14/16/12/8 (Divination)
Arcana / History / Religion / Investigation + Nature or Stealth?
-Lae'zel: 17/14/16/8/10/8 (BM or Eldritch Knight 6 and Divination Wizard 6)
Athletics, Perception, Survival and Intimidation (Ability to get all Dex skills)
-Shadowheart: 10/14/16/10/16/8 (Trickery Domain)
Religion, Insight, Medicine + History or Persuasion?
-Me: 10/18/16/10/14/16 (Gloves of Dex / College of Swords)
Insight, Persuasion, Sleight of Hand, Perception + Deception or Acrobatics?
You don’t need Gale as pure wiz because the way wizard learns spell in bg3 as long as you multiclass into other caster besides warlocks.
Don’t need Sheart on trickery. You don’t actually need a dedicated healer. More damage = faster fights, meaning you don’t need to sit there and try to ping pong your teammates from down to up to down

One would think moonbeam would be a Selune cleric talent.
in 5e, Twilight Cleric comes with Moonbeam.
So awesome! Can't wait to try these. Thank you!
How do you move Moonbeam without it counting as a turn?
It only cost a bonus action the following turns, assumed you keep the concentration
Sir,they work there not broken 😊
Why can't i jump inifitly, Jumping costs a bonus action
you need a barbarian that takes the subclass to increase ally movement speed within 8 meters. when you enter and leave the radius you will gain movement speed and regain your jump and bonus action!
You forgot to use Step of the Wind.
I was looking for a sanctuary build, thank you:)
Umm, anyone know why I can't chose a sub-class when levelling up? I'm level 3 and have not had the option yet, even when I tried re-specking.
Whenever I hear the word cleric . I think I'd better not admit i'm a cleric cuz patches lol
Best guide ever...
Then level 2 go warlock
level 3 go monk.
level 4 go warlock
with dex gloves and your +2 and hag hair you can have 18 dex/cha/wis. that's 18ac. mage armor makes that 21 bracers makes that 23 and armor of argathys for if they do happen to get thru.
Can only multi class into three
When I first leveled up the cleric/druid build, I added a subclass of druid but why do I get level 2 cleric/1druid and not 1 cleric/2 druid like in the video?
when you level you can pick where your level goes into.
Does the jumping build really work? I thought jumping cost a bonus action. Is it free for monks?
"Step of the Wind: Dash" makes jumps not cost a bonus action, only move speed. This was noted in the video.
So I can't have someone not in my party cast Shield Of Faith. On console, as soon as i remove them from the group, the shield drops.
Pretty sure he says they have to be in the party. He says they dont have to be with you in the fight.
@@kitkami looks like it to me, but he said in the video to have someone not in the party cast it.
@@kitkami I watched it again, and he does say they have to be in your party. I'm trying to figure out how that works with this build and the concentration required for everything else to work. I might be able to give the thunder jump member a level of cleric to pull it off, but I'm not sure if that will break the build later in game.
i got wrecked by the stones in sanctuary i couldint believe it
What’s the background for the third build?
I would like to see a Thunder Build.
Do any of these builds work after the new update on ps5?
I'm a complete noob to this game I recently bought it a few days ago, so I'm really curious... does your race choice matter on any of these builds particularly??
When you create a race if you scroll down to the abilities under you can read what each of them do in not sure what race is the fastest but a faster race might benefit the last build some
Adding additional damage type of you can to the thunderstomp build or another reverb item may make it work faster too
My best advice for a new player to the D&D world is to remember this is a game of strategy and patience. So be sure to read everything and take your time. Take the time to understand the dice as well. For instance 1d4 would be the roll of 1 4 sided die.
@HiThereFaceHere thanks for the advice
Doesnt gloom stalker gets fog cloud as well?
so is the 1st build viable throughout the entire game? or does it fall off heavily at a certain point
Viable but relatively slow. For a backline dmg dealer, it's great. Played it with moon druid my first playthru
Try using four party members with 2 light cleric/2 bard. You get to use 4 radiance of the dawn (huge AOE) per short rest. and you will have 7 short rests per day.

Build druid work all mode honor?
Sanctuary + moonbean
It does but I wouldn't suggest doing it the whole time maybe just until you're level 5 or so
It's a great build to begin fights and pick off a few annoying enemies before sending in your whole team.
I cannot pick Druid as a subclass when I hit level 3 The option doesn't even come up and I'm only a cleric.
