For me as a beginning learner struggling with listening in russian, I would love a podcast. The content can be any story, but I would love to hear a short recap in english like every 30 seconds of the story, so we beginners don't get completely lost.

As a beginner, I would appreciate hearing a daily routine. ( I wake up at 4, I shower, eat breakfast go to work) Hearing about different career choices and cultural differences are always interesting too. Спасибо!

Agreed. This would be nice in a conversation. Where a male and female are talking to each other. So we get the concept of describing what you have done. And also, it can become a little interactive as the partner can acknowledge and ask questions. Great idea!

I have absolutely loved your previous videos explaining Russian colloquialisms. A podcast about even more Russian sayings, what they mean and where they came from originally would be very helpful and very interesting.

I would love for a podcast to have some relatively simple passages from well known Russian writers in Russian. Then a brief English synopsis and analysis of the passage, why you chose it, and how it has effected Russian culture. I feel like it would be a great way, at least for me, to practice my listening and gain some insight into Russian literature and culture.

I would love for you to do a podcast! I’m a beginner but I try to listen to as many podcasts in Russian throughout the day as I possibly can. Even if I don’t understand anything I feel like I’m slowly picking up on patterns. I would listen to any topic at all! I’m excited to have more exciting content!!! Thank you!!

I would appreciate any video where you (or you and somebody else) speak Russian (slowly) for 10-15 minutes about a specific topic using easy, everyday vocabulary and basic verbs. Listening to native speaking people helps so much...if they speak slowly :)

I listen to podcasts at work so I would like simple sentences read in Russian, then broken down into grammar and then read a few times over again, slowly. And then the next sentence and so on….
For me, 15 minutes is plenty so I can listen to it over and over. I find repetition is the best way for me to learn Russian.

Lots of simple and repeated vocabulary would be amazing. Simple short stories about the vocabulary words would help too.

I am interested in where the majority of Russians travel outside of Russia and why. Have conversations about ski vacations in the winter months and beach vacations in the summer months. How other countries react to you being from Russia and how you’ve overcome language barriers in said countries

I like your recent videos reading out a text. You have a clear voice that is easy to understand. I would like if you also asked questions in Russian about the text, using the same words from the text but in different forms.

As it was said here earlier I would as a beginning learner also wish for a podcast spoken slowly and using everyday’s language by one or two speakers to cover everyday’s situations.
Fedor is saying in another video on his channel he recommends learners to concentrate on listening or hearing and by doing gaining vocabulary, understanding the flow of the other language better. Prior to just learning grammar.to get to the structure of the language. I find this way works best for me 🙂.
Besides - my native language is not English and judged more complex than English and almost on the same level as Russian.

I use podcasts as an additional language learning resource (same as TH-cam). I therefore look for something that supplements my learning, and keeps me interested. I'm also a Portuguese learner, and in terms of language learning podcasts love Carioca Connection, which are conversations between a native speaker (= teacher) and her American boyfriend, who is learning Portuguese. The conversations are about anything and everything in their lives, but by the nature of the podcast, touch upon all the things that a learner has difficulty with. I also love Fala, Gringo! which are general interest topics, but including explanations of idioms, words and how they are used, grammar etc. Both podcasts offer transcripts. Both are for intermediate learners, which seems to me possibly the target audience most interested in a language learning podcast (beginners will be a bit out of their depth, advanced learners will listen to podcast in their language and don't require a language learning podcast). The stuff you do in your videos is fun and interesting, it just needs to be set up so that it is useful to the learner without subtitles (the podcast should stand on it's own and not require the transcript, if offered as a further aid.) Cool stuff.

I recently listened to a Russian podcast where the host discussed the pros and cons of different topics. It seemed to me to be a good method for learning. Also, throughout the podcast, she would explain in Russian the somewhat uncommon words which she used.

I don't know about your whole audience, but I come to youtube for Russian language videos to learn the most basic words and repeat the few I already know. If my Russian was at listening to podcast level as it in English, I would consider myself a fluent Russian speaker. But give it a go and see maybe we can learn something. Keep it simple!

I am interested in Russian history, but maybe this is too hard for beginners. Maybe better split up topics. It is for sure also very interesting what people on the countryside do, which struggles they have etc. Russia is also rich in diff. military topics, I personally love Tupolev airplanes and for me it is brilliant engineering what they were able to do. Greetings from Switzerland.

I am using DuoLingo to learn russian. I am at day 128, it is going pretty well. But it's not "conversational". I was thinking... It would be excellent if you could pick some lessons from there, and then drill into them. Maybe with your wonderful explanations... The fill-in-the-blank questions are always hard because of the CASES of the nouns. (кошка, кошку, кот, кошкы, кошки) you could use their prompts as a trigger to do some good examples, and it would help people, it may also bring you more followers...

I don’t think you need to come up with new topics to introduce to us. I started watching this kids show called Бодо Борода on TH-cam. The main character travels to different places around the world and explains it in easy Russian for kids. It helps me because I already know the context (love travel and geography), but I can listen to how something is said in Russian.
