really good of you to show some mistakes too. a lot of creators only show victories. I think it's really good to see what happens when you don't do everything right
thank you for all of this beautiful content ! you practically learned me everything in this game ! bro just keep going, your content is gold for newbies.
as a badon main i was so pleasantly surprised to come back from a few months hiatus to see that we no longer have to fear the dreaded hunter hood! i've been having a lot of fun in mists.
Dude i am new in albion online but i have plenty of experience in mmorpg games. As mmorpg gamers i literally can say that we all have some sort of obsession to learn every detail we can in the game for reaching perfection. You are dude you are a legend for me! Simply because how you can explain your thought process. You are a good teacher and you are a good researcher. Keep doing what you doing. I appreciate your time and attention to detail. Have a good one dude 🖖🏻
Was my fav weapon a couple years back, sooo fun. Then it got expensive and i quit Now im back playing spear being bad but using your vids to learn Thanks a lot for that mate❤️
I'll think about it Thank you for suggesting! It definitely potential for outplays but I always felt that it doesn't have enough versatility to keep me hooked for long ie most fights feel kind of similar.
I think the "bug" with poison pot may be related to the fact that right after getting hit by dual swords, the curse got slowed by your poison, and on next tick server just looks who dealt last damage OR debuff. It looks like death check is after all the hit effects are applied. Again, i dont know for sure but i feel like that's what is happening.
I'm really not sure how the server handles it. I did recreate this situation with friends to test it and it worked exactly like that. One person does 95% of damage, other person throws poison, then the original attacker finishes the kill during poison and poisoner still gets looting rights every time.
Hey Vic can you do a vid on infinity blade, my setup is(Cultist Cowl,Mistwalker Jacket,Boots of Valor,Face Breaker and avolonian cape) I just want to see how you would play bc I dont know if I'm playing it right mainly with the E 😅
I'll think about it! I've enjoyed some carving and duals on EU already, quite possible that it will be time for Infinity also :) . I've seen some very good infinity players out there already with similar build to yours, usually on royal march though.
@@VicZaneGaming Ty man and love your vids surprisingly your first and best pvp guide on yt right now that actually show us new and even normal players the depth of pvping and its been a big help for me so far I even been able to fight and win 100-200 ip difference higher opponents and I'm 1500 ip so that shows😁
You have 4 potential tools against sleepcasters. If you have a leather hood, you can swap it to cleanse and remove the sleep and dodge silence. Unless they cleric at the same time, you can use E to interrupt their E. You can swap your W to deflecting spin and reduce their E damage and reflect a lot of it back if they don't cleric at the same time. And finally, you can still use potions when silenced so bringing a gigpot or resistance pot and drink it when they silence you!
@@VicZaneGaming that awesome thank you! I always been a pve type of player and just recently dip into pvp categories. I have 300 spec on 1 handed spear because other spears is about 50-75 mastery. To start i guess i can start small with 4.2 gears? I like the play style alot and hope to improve further. Mist nowadays is so saturated with battle axe its ridiculous. And corrupted dungeon reward is so low plus you deal with all the mobs , kiting and traps , and maybe a few meta builds over and over again so i dont even think CD was worth doing .
Hey, I dont know if you have the knowledge for this, but can you make a deep video on attunements? I feel like certain attunements are better than others. Although it depends on the weapon, I doubt that %ability damage is better than IP. If you have already 40% dmg through cloth armor, having +15% abilty damage results in a +10%dmg boost. I would love to see in details which attunement is good for which weapons
Hey!! Absolutely, attunements are different. Some are absolutely useless and some are almost a must. And this does differ a bit from weapon to weapon, although currently on any weapon there are a couple S-tier attunements such as 'cooldown reduction', '+max hp' and '+Defense vs All'. As for other options, '+ability damage' and '+IP' are good but you're right that some builds take more advantage of those. Your point about diminishing returns stands but some weapons will benefit a lot more from ability damage than just IP. Think of those that don't brawl or attack a lot. Lifesteal, manacost reduction and even attack speed can also be situationally decent on a couple weapons.
@@VicZaneGaming I was wondering why Def vs All was meta. For example, I'm wearing T8.3 assassin jacket. I have 239 armor which gives me around 71% damage reduction. If i have the 10% def attunement, and taking 100 base damage into account, the damage taken would change from 29 to 29 -(10% * 29) so 26.1. I would prefer life steal instead of def because I can heal more hp than i can tank. :)
Albion has 2 control schemes and it sounds like you are using the 'Classic' one. The problem with that is that you cannot select a target without also issuing an attack order because they are together on same button. The other control scheme (called 'RTS-like' in settings) which is the only one that makes some sense to me after a decade of MOBAs and other games has select target on left click and move/attack both on right click so precision of right clicks becomes important.
@VicZaneGaming on the classic controls there's an option to select double click to attack So I can select and inspect targets, click again to attack and then use right click to move Hope this helps! ❤
I used mostly roasted snapper for Badon to lean more into its ability to brawl a bit. However, omelette and eel stew are both also good choices as long as you adjust your playstyle accordingly.
The one I used in the video is a standard and strong option. For extra options you can swap helmet to cowl of purity which you can then use to keep enemy in fight from far OR push melee opponents away. Later down the line with more experience, royal boots can also be pretty good, especially if you are struggling with catching people that you are winning a fight against.
I used mostly roasted snapper to lean a bit more into the option to brawl. However eel stew, omelette as well as beef stew are also popular options. It's important that your playstyle matches your build and food so if you use eel stew or omelette, you need to lean even more into kiting.
Never know when inspiration to play battle axe might strike. I used to like it on West. But it's such a popular low IP weapon that I'm sure there are some quality guidelines out there already :)
Why are you spam clicking while chasing your enemies? Just hold right mouse down so you wont click anything. It is actually pretty strange because you always try to use every tool you have to win, and your game knowledge is pretty superb, yet you are left clicking. Is there any reason behind that?
You're absolutely right that I have a habit of overspamming buttons - both mouse clicks as well as spacebar. I've played a lot of Albion over last couple of years but I still also have probably 15k+ hours of muscle memory from other games in my life :) And in those other games, attacking and moving is never on the same button like in Albion. There are some benefits to spamming also, it can be good for pathing AND it can be a bit easier to react fast if something happens if I keep myself in high APM rhythm the whole time (wild analogy but it's a tiny bit like kickboxers jumping around the whole time during a fight).
Actually i think 90% of albion players even the experienced ones spam click its the adrenaline rush, but the solution is just to use right click for spamming instead of left click try it it works for me very well@VicZaneGaming
Somehow even a small break instantly made me enjoy Albion even more :) Not really interested in 1v1 duels right now. I like exploring the Mists and be surprised by new situations and opponents. But never say never, maybe in the future!
