My list:
Potato mine- Outclassed in every way (typical for tutorial plants)
Strawburst- His plant food dealing less damage than the large berry is a complete scam
Boom balloon flower- I’ve never been a fan of “manually firing” plants
Escape root- BBF but easier to use
Cherry Bomb- Very useful but still outclassed
Bombegranate- 9 potato mines for the price of 1 cherry bomb
Grapeshot- basically an area-wide cherry bomb plus it’s got funny noises
Explode-o-nut- Great for getting a bunch of zombies in one spot for that sweet, sweet multi-kill
Teleportato mine- I found her design to be creepy, but it’s a better thyme warp, that’s for sure.
Bombard-mint- 3 or more free cherry bombs sounds promising, but the recharge time takes forever
Explode-o-vine- absolutely fantastic for stalling AND killing!
Primal potato mine- Cheap cherry bomb with shorter arming time and costs only 25 more sun than the leading brand
Literally primal potato mine is the best plant in the entire game for me. Also nice ranking👌

why is boom balloon flower ranked so low? It is actually very powerful when leveled up.
mine is already level 8 and and she's not really powerful for level up zombies (arena & penny's zombies not adventure/daily piñata)

@@DuckyTube13 I found it really hard to justify using boom balloon flower, as cool as it is. Plus, do you think the 300 something sun cost is fair or too much since at a 300 sun cost, a plant would be a heavy hitter.

The best and the worst in my opinion:
Best: Primal Potato Mine.
Worst: Boom Balloon Flower.
In my opinion explode o' vine is best and worst is potato mine
Here's one from mine from 1 to 12.
1. Primal Potato: Best one, it deals superior amount of damage to enemies, higher than almost any others, is cheap and can be faster to deploy
2. Bombard Mint: One of the best mints, since there's alot of explosions, there's a good chance to actually heavily damage gargs, and also it boost the insta kills of his family even deadlier.
3. Teleportato
It's just a way to simulate how the classic potato Mine zombie stacking strat easier, except this one's easier to use and do
4. Explode O Vine
Basically it's high due to his superiority over almost any other vines
5. Grapeshot
Slightly better cherry, it's the same but with additional property of having the grape SHOTS that can potentially clear other zombies who survived the main explosion
6. Cherry Bomb
The classic explosive, it gets the job pretty well but it's outclassed
7. Explode O Nut
Two words: ¹Worser ²Explode O Vine
8. Esc Root
I never, ever use him as an explosive, only to move around plants, but it just so never happens
9. Balloon Flower
It's not very powerful IMO, but I can say that it's very easy to spam her and the balloons compared to many other options
10. Potato Mine
I think its not really necessary to use him cuz of many better options that just completely outclass his job
11. Bombergranate
Okay but it's just a worser grapeshot no one wants it to spawn potato Mine like traps it's too weak, and the face expression just sucks a lot
12. Strawburst
The worst here, it's a worser coconut cannon bro I don't want too much waiting here, the damage isn't even that good, plus the PF effect is a complete scam of a valuable resource

Bombagranit and grape shot are DIRECT upgrades to cherry bomb. Same sun cost, same recharge, same if not more dmg

Grapeshot because with the bouncing grapes you can deal more damage than with the things that remain after Bombgranate explodes.

The arguement of bombegranate vs grape shot is pretty stupid. One is seedium and the other is premium. One has permanent things and the other doesn't. For me bombegranate

My list:
Bombergrenate: I just dont see him being useful more than it is useless, its main explosion cant even bring a gargantuar to half health, and its tiny bombs are more of a hindrance in my oponion
Strawburst: I consider him the worst Bomb plant cause he has an IMMENSELY slow recharge fire rate on his attack preventing him from being vilable
BB Flower: Its higher because of doomshroom ability but still more useless than useful
Potato mine: I think Potato mine is severely underrated in my opinion, it was one of your first early game insta use plants and it does its job very well, it can be used to stall early game and all you have to do is place it 3 titles away from a zombie for just 25 sun, still worse than other bomb plants but its honestly a pretty good plant, a blessing in disguise
Escape root: Potato mine but can turn into another random insta use plant, it is better than potato mine sure, but its secondary ability (switching plants) is really only useful in endangered plant levels
Explodo nut: A wall nut that blows up, thats it, Id give it extra points if you could control its explosion
Explodo vine: Although its a pretty good plant to use to knock back a 3x3 area of zombies, Insta killing zombies is objectively better than knocking them back, and you need a plant food to insta kill a 3x3 area of zombies which most of the time isnt worth it, yeah you can boost plants, but what plant are you gonna boost? Bombergrenade? Strawburst? Just stick to your insta use plants instead at that point
Cherry Bomb: Good old run of the mill 3x3 explosion, Its extremely reliable and versitile for its cost, and does its job pretty well done, especially since the game tends to throw you a lot of zombies early game, an amazing insta use plant, not broken, not terrible, just a good old explosion
Primal potato mine: This thing was broken when it first came out, its basically a 50 cost potato mine with a fast arming rate and has the same explosion as a cherry bomb but a bit more drugged up, I dont know what was Pop cap thinking
Teleportato mine: Basically a primal potato mine, but can teleport a group of zombies into itself before exploding
Grapeshot: By far one of the most BROKEN insta use plants in the game, Not only is it a copy of cherry bomb, but launches 8 different bouncing proyectiles onto the WHOLE BOARD, Killing zombies that are weakened or chiping other zombies in other lanes, this is EXTREMELY versitile, Reliable, and Does its job WAY too perfectly
Bombard mint: If you could boost other insta use plants its an okay ability, but the fact that you can blow up up to 8 different times with the same damage as a cherry bomb/grapeshot, having more power within levels, can target zombies, and explode around the WHOLE BOARD within different collums and rows? This thing has the power of a goddamn doomshroom from pvz 1 but its free and its 10 times better, basically, this is the most broken plant in the game, Pop Cap was definetely on drugs making this thing

fun fact in the pirate seas boss fight you can prevent zomboss from stepping pn your plants if u place a cherry bomb in his way, it may require some timing but it works

Grapeshot and bombegranate are better than Primal Potato Mine(PPM)
When you use an ecplosive plant like cherry bomb or grapeshot, the 3x3 area damage is what you need the most 90% of the time. Grapeshot and pomegranates after effects are a bonus. And primal potato mine costing only 50 sun while the others cost 150 makes it even better not to mention it's a free plant. Also if you didn't notice. The area of primal potato mine is actually larger than what is described.
@@jordanthierykurniawan6806 The area is bigger?Didn't know that. Anyway I don't think Primal potato mine costing 50 sun really makes it that much better. Most of the time the problem is the recharge not sun. And to give credit PPM(Primal potato Mine) does have a 25 second recharge instead of a 35 second recharge but I still think that a permanent nine bombegranate seeds from bombegranate or 5 grapes from grapeshot is a better bonus than 50 sun,Bigger area,25 second recharge and 600 more instant damage.
So Grapeshot/Bombegranate> PPM
The fact that cherry bomb is third to last place really just goes to show the state of power creep lol.

Bro, you say that primal potato mine is worse than potato mine. PPM is way better than some premium plant, it deal ton of damage and has large hitbox, also its cost more sun and longer recharge because that way will make the plant more balanced.

I'm confused on how ducky ranks the plants, because straw burst had the same amount of strengths as potato mine but potato mine had more weaknesses, so shouldn't that make potato mine the place behind strawburst?
The weakness and strengths are just extra information. Its just the amount he likes the plant and uses it in arena and penny's persuit. So for example pokra and wasabi whip.

id switch cheery bomb and escape root then change bombegrante and cherry bomb, this sounds like an idiot move until you realize cherry bomb is leveled up easier, and its free and you can get it super early

why is cherry bomb so low? sure it has bad recharge time but it still absolutely shreds. primal potato mine may outclass it (probably doesnt) but primal potato cant be placed inside a hoard and not die, primal potato isnt bad but its not good as cherry bomb for the late part of stages
Its because Its arena and Penny's persuit along with Explode o vine , , Bombegranate , Grapeshot and I'm pretty sure more outclass it. But yeah I would still say at least 7 or 6. Also PPM recharge time is 10 seconds less than cherry bomb but still I would say its worse
