Thanks, there was a few runs on inside of switch frame. Painting tractors/equipment every winter is a tradition that goes all the way back to my grandfather’s farm.
Mr. Shivers recently found your channel and I am enjoying it emensly,,I am 3rd generation citrus so seeing how the other members of the farming brotherhood face challenges is always educational. You have a very "grandfatherly "was of explaining what and why do different tasks.Have been up recently to the Sale City area visiting a citrus grower/nursery growe/dirt farmer.
I’ve been wanting to get into citrus (on really small scale- - 20-50 trees) for years. I got some frost proof citrus trees from UGA several years ago but they all went back to root stock.
At that barn there is a John Deere compressor, I have an Iron Horse with Kohler motor on the auction trailer we painted, craftsman in my wood shop, and Ingersol Rand at big pole barn where we did the engine swap videos and Versatile axle replacement. You may see a portable John Deere on flatbed in peanut videos
Thanks Robert. My grandfather use to have my dad and his brothers paint all his tractors every winter. We’ve been spraying green paint a long time over here.
The drag is built by a large company and is standard equipment all across the south. I didn’t realize that some plows didn’t have them until a few years ago.
Really like your thinking. Common sense man. Keep em coming!
Thanks for watching and commenting Michael!
Man that's a great reburbish job..professional work..

Great work Patrick! You really take care of your equipment. What type air compressor do you have?

Pops getting down with that spray gun again lol
I have never seen a harrow attached to a plow like that. Are those built by a local company or just homemade?

Well we fixing to find out if that 8530 uses any oil
😂yes indeed
Patrick how many acres are you going to farm
400
@@PatrickShivers cotton and peanuts
Probably corn & peanuts with one dry corner in grain sorghum. Cotton margin is thin & harvesting it is expensive
I still have Brangus cattle and sell butchered steers as well
Patrick...Damn that`s a monster. How much HP does it take to make it Rock?
50hp per plow is the old adage.
That 8500 is going to groan when
you put that in the ground.
Need to indiscreetly apply a Fender "F" somewhere😀...discreetly actually.
Hello!
