Thank you for introducing me to all these different awesome chiptune artists. I didn't realise there were ones that did purely different platform styles, megadrive, nes, and really surprisingly - Adlib, from the DOS PC days...! I think that was another mix video but it was awesome. I'm going to go back and chase up those artists.
Wow the art! Looking at it, just inspires me to imagine a film being made around it, also, film is pixellated and the entire sound track would be chiptuned! Dunno if it would have to be entirely subtitled, with chiptune noises to signify ppl talking, kinda like how Shining Force did scripts... Also the plot? Streets of Rage but with a whole lot more plot maybe? But with a few twists of style thrown in like as if it was Cowboy Bebop'd up a bit... Help me imagine this film into existing here guys! XD This art is doing it for me!... Also the chiptune mix is nice.
Music I listened to before this that sounds similar is sounds from Steven Universe, The Movie and S. T. Future as well as Snail's House / Ujico. (And of course a lot of video game music.)
