Just attempted to run this cave with my buddy and 3 basilosaurus. The spawn in for wild Dino’s was over the top, probably 10x more vs this video. Going in with a basi and school of sharks next time.
Tbf, i swim past most of them and only fight the last bit. The hard underwater cave (cunning cave) contains even more sharks, now that one is def a challenge!
@@GingarellaThere are definitely less in your cave though, i'm not exaggerating when I say there are about 900 in my cave xD The other cave has maybe 1/5th. I think I have some kind of overspawning issue as everyone else I've seen doing this has A LOT less sharks
@@AeRoSiKTh that def sounds like an overspawn issue, that’s insane lol, i think your best bet would be with a basi or dolphin. Swim fast, grab artifact and swim away fast LOL.
@@AeRoSiKTh Just a heads up, not sure what was changed on the backend, but about a week ago my server had sharks overspawning everywhere, and now there's almost none. Figured I'd mention since there def seemed to be a megalo overspawn issue recently, that it might be worth checking again if you haven't in a few days.
hello, been enjoying you content for ark recently, I know why there's a lot of comments about dinos in this cave, so official servers have a limit to the spawns but its not the base game, you'd have to edit the .ini fills for a private server, I play on someones privately owned server and I've taken swarms of dinos into this cave and its pretty impossible atm, multiple alpha, huge number of megs, xiphs, eels and jellies... I'm not over exaggerating when I say hundreds of creatures are in the easy and hard underwater caves. I've tried with multiple basilos and tusos with ascendent saddles, they were tamed at max with a few mutations and 60+ levels added each. I'm trying with rock golems next but honestly I don't think ill have much luck lol just thought id explain as I think commenters are confused why you finding it easy and you're confused why they're struggling, seems to be a matter of living in different worlds lol ironically on official its much easier with these caves.

@@Gingarella honestly i dont know about single player, so not sure, its the non official servers I know more about. where playing pay for a server from like nintrado or other places to host their own server with their own selection of mods etc.. but the spawn rates inside those 2 cave are insane. as far as I know no one on a server I play have even come close to the artifact of the brute. be we can get artifacts in the purple drop to combat that issue. though I'm trying to find a way through, I watched this video to see the exact location so I could run through with grapples and flipper as fast as possible to just grab and run, but just hit a wall of creatures I couldn't even move passed lol. best option so far though haha
@@Gingarella speed wasnt the problem, i did better without a tame than with, there was literally a wall of creatures blocking my path to the artifact room but I am thinking of breeding a few tusos filling health only and using them as decoys lol to do a run for your life attempt again lol non official server have the advantage of cryo pods that can be used anywhere (at least mine does lol.) maybe ill start an ark channel and see If I can do it as a challenge lol
I got arked in there and my basi and megalodon got killed in there, and my bag destroyed said to anti mesh when all I did was dismount to grab the drop
the cave on my server has like 10 times more sharks than that...and around 5 alpha sharks on the last room where the artifact is...it-s really not that easy anymore..
Might be an issue on your server then. I heard more servers about it. I clear it almost everyday with a mosa now (easier) but looking at the amount of enemies, id still be able to do it with a shark tbh.
Yea no way this legit, ive gotten Brute arty about 10 times now, and everytime theres 20x that spawn.. i use frog & lure as many as u can into exterior chamber, use the land hallway to get back to arty room. then make a grab for it when the remainers are stuck on eachother.. main thing is gotta kill all/most eels first
Not sure how I can make it more ‘legit’. I even showed my server, i am clearly on official lol. There has been a shark overspawn issue on some servers. Maybe you are on one of those servers. But my vids are def ‘legit’, all recorded on official pve.

How is that helpful? Show the map/coords AT the Artifact. Didn't help at all. Showing a map saying EZ uw doesn't show me anything
