    Hey Risby...
They had a contest to invite kids to perform as their favorite Queen member, and then made the video with them portraying the band... SO COOL... can you imagine anything more inspirational in getting the younger generations to experience your music... and have FUN doing it!! What a trip!! There is a "making of the Miracle videos" documentary short that explains it...
Yes, Freddie knew he was getting sicker and wouldn't be doing videos or touring any longer, but I think they did this for the kids... Freddie loved children, but never had any of his own and Brian was an only child, so siblings meant more to them than other people... which is probably one reason why they stayed together 20+ years...
Freddie knew what he had by 1986-87, but told no one, not even the band members until later, he never wanted to talk about it, and especially did not want the UK media to hound his family and friends, so he never officially put out a press release until the day before he died... and yes, his fans were very shocked when word finally came... the day the music died... the entire world was in shock for days!! Until they actually saw the funeral and the cremation ceremonies and his musician friends paying tribute, it was really hard to accept... his girlfriend, Mary Austin, id the only person on earth who knows where Freddie's ashes were buried...
Queen also did another music involving kids, "The Invisible Man" is about a kid playing a computer game, really cute video, you need to react to the official video to really understand the concept of the song... thanks again for sharing your time and talents with us and Queen, it is much appreciated... blessings.

Freddie did a press release announcing he had Aids and passed away the very next day so he kept it to himself

He knew he was dying but the song is so uplifting and giving the world hope for a miracle for all. The miracle came to late for Freddie, but with the help of his bandmates who had an incredible tribute concert to him, monies raised, helped in finding a cure for AIDS. The concert was seen world wide by almost one billion people. Enjoyed the reaction. Especially, the confused look you were rockin'. :)

The kids auditioned for this - and the four winners were so good that Freddie suggested that they could go on tour for them. I think they nailed it! Freddie made a press release 23 hours before he died. He had stopped the medication and he wanted awareness on AIDS - .

Ohhhhh the Queen Mini-Me’s!! One of the most clever & adorable videos ever produced! Love the different Freddie Eras that the lead child actor portrays!! He grew up to be a British actor, best known for starring in the popular TV series “Band Of Brothers”! Now that’s ironic … 🤔 🤩 FLASH/THE HERO concert opener at Milton Keynes 1982.

This kids were great!!! I feel so jelaous of those kids!!! By the way, I recomend you: You Take My Breath Away (studio version), Don't Stop Me Now or The Show Must Go On!!! Those songs are awesome!!! Specially the last one I named here, cos at that point he was so....sick, and yet....he managed to sing with such a powerful voice!!! Anything from their 14th and last album recorded before Freddie passed away is worth a try, btw, the album I'm talking about is called: Innuendo (came out on 1991)
Pd: yes, he was already ill here, this album came out on 1989, he died on 1991 so yeah, but he kept the fact he had AIDS to himself until the 23rd of November 1991, when he confirmed he was sick by a note, that was later on published, he died the next day,24th of November 1991....later on, the rest of the band members, made a tribute concert to Freddie on 1992 with several other artists and bands, such as: Guns 'n' Roses, David Bowie, Elton John, George Michael, Annie Leanux, etc...
and on 1995, they (the rest of the remaining Queen band members) released Queen's 15th and last studio album, including: new versions of some Freddie's solo songs, and new Queen songs, such as: You Don't Fool Me, Heaven for Everyone or Mother Love (last song Freddie recorded before death), then on 1996 or 1997 (don't remember now) Brian, Roger and John wrote a tribute song for Freddie, called: No One But You (Only The Good Due Young), and well, I'm not gonna lie, I cried like a baby when I first heard that song, so if you want to react to it, I'm telling you, bring tessues, cos you are most likely going to cry with that song, and last but no least, later on, John Deacon (Queen's bass player) retired from Queen, music life and public life....making Roger (the band's drummer) and Brian (the band's guitarist) the only Queen members that are still active, doing some tours with Queen (from 2001 to 2011 with Paul Rodgers and from 2011 until today with Adam Lambert) even if both of them are a bit over 70 years old men now....and well, on 2018....the official Queen biopic film was released....John is still living a private life, away from public eye....
Sorry for thr long comment, but I wanted to explain this!!! Bye....

This song is so beautiful and filled with so much hope that this video always brings tears to my eyes. Luckiest kids on the planet! Freddie knew he was dying and he knew what he was dying from but he kept it to himself, only his closest friends and band members knew for sure. The press was relentless and merciless making Freddie a prisoner in his home, unable to go out because they were there waiting to pounce on him. The other band members kept telling the press that everything was fine. The day before Freddie died, he finally made a statement to the press that he was indeed dying from AIDS. This song is the title track from the album The Miracle and the last album Queen released before Freddie's death.

Freddie was a super private person, all through his music career, he hated letting outside people into his real life, especially the press. And for his family reasons, and the bands, he kept his diagnosis secret. He only told the band maybe ywo years before he passed, and onky said he was terminal, that “they knew” but he didn’t want to talk about it, just work until he “f***ing died”. He never asked for sympathy or complained, and he went through yell. His last video was a goodbye to us, in essence, These Are The Days of Our Lives, and another was his next to last, I’m going Slightly Mad. They showed his raw courage and his overwhelming love for the fans of Queen. I cry whenever I picture those paparazzi shots of him coming out if the doctors office, which drove him to stop going, and those last few appearances to accept awards. Lover if Life, Singer of Songs-- reduced to such a frail state. He was even going blind by the very end. His whole foot was a raw wound from one of those carcinomas AIDS used to give people. So sad. He was the picture of LIFE … sad to die that way. And too soon.

Written for the album of the same name, it was just something they'd do, Fred didn't dwell on his health he just kept going and was around for another couple of years after making this video, he appears in a few which the whole group agreed to put a video out as well, they've just released a updated version of the album from 1988 with another 47 tracks, some of which are demo's of this and other songs on the original. Our newly knighted Dr Sir Brian May and Roger Taylor are still working as part of Queen, John retired in 1997, each member wrote more than one hit and there's at least 250 songs plus solo albums from Freddie, Sir Brian and Roger which ran alongside Queen

Hi just subscribed been queen fan for 47 years now and welcome to the queen fan family. Now you are on the queen train you will never want the train to stop. I was only 8 when I heard queen for 1st time they came to my home city milton keynes bowl 🇬🇧 in july 1982 U.K and I lived not far so I can here the concert from my own bedroom that's the 1st time I ever heard there music.
Miracle is of the miracle album which was released in 1989 it was 2 years before he's passing.
Please please can you react to breakthrou and mother love. Breaktrou is my 14 year old daughters fav from the miracle album.
And mother love. It's from the last album queen recorded made in heaven.
Mother love is a heartbreaker as freddie didn't manage to finish this beautiful song and even though he never finished this song and what he did recored and how sick he was he still had that amazing voice and it will put chills all over. Brian finished this beautiful song and he sang it perfect I know freddie would be proud.
Also final request Brian and Roger and John released there tribute song
No one but you (only the good die young).
I'm sorry to request 3 songs but it's very hard to request 1 song out of a huge catalogue of songs.
I hope queen music will make you a hard core fan as more you listen to the more you want to hear.

I attended the casting back then and tried to become Freddie for this project. Sadly/Gladly I didn't got the job, but the casting was an amazing, crazy experience and a lot of fun! I was still at elementary school and as I am german, I didn't spoke the language at all and didn't knew what they wanted me to do! *lol But anyway: this was an epic and extraordinary day in my (young) life!

"The Miracle" was released in 1989. The title of the album was "The Miracle" because they considered in a miracle that Freddie lived long enough to finish the album. His doctors had said that he probably wouldn't live to see the end of the 80's. Then the band went on the release the "Innuendo" album in 1991. Also with all four band members.

Did you know that Freddie gave a lot of money anonymously to aids charities while he was alive, and he also let doctors try out various new drugs on him even though he knew that they would not prolong his own life? He hoped the results of tests done on him would help aids sufferers in the future. The drugs tested on Freddie eventually became part of the drug therapy treatment for aids. He truly was an amazing person.

Creativity under adversity. The only downside with the fun of the video is it is easy to miss the poignant lyrics...but hopefully on replay it lands. Notice your approval on the drum hit against the water. You'll see that in the Queen video for I WANT IT ALL. Again, another creative way to present when you cannot do live performances.
