I could almost feel how tough that stick on the table was just from the sound. Once you've wailed away at some stubborn old piece of hard wood, you seldom forget the experience. 😡

Hehe. Yep. I wasn't expecting it to be that tough. The tree I was chopping was a guava (they grow like weeds here), which are also quite hard.
