ASML will recover, but when you largest customer (China) gets banned, it's obviously not good for business. So now Intel (and others) are buildings sites in Vietnam and India, but it will take a while before they are ready to receive the latest high tech machinery.
There is a good reason why we shouldnt support China..... China literally spits in your face when you do business with them. no thats garbage unless you like water with a coffee taste. their best inventions are the Cassette tape CD/DVD and the Bluray. well its an corporate invention between Philips panasonic and JVC. But its build on the Dutch invention of the CD.
Expected which will never happen. They lost their biggest partner AKA China. they cant replace China no company can. China is the most important country for pretty much all companies on the planet. why? well because of their population and because they can make everything because of their good infrastructure and all the things they build up over the years. ASML wish they could make double the profit. China is developing their own EUV machine they make great progress with it as well. they are expecting to make 5nm and even 3nm chips next year. If that happens ASML and the west is played out. Countries will go to China to buy their chips because China can produce it for way cheaper. US and the west and in this case ASML as well are all digging their own grave by listening to the biggest terrorist on earth AKA the US. US forbids everything but they dont have any Alternative to back up. the west is failing. China is rising.
Cassette tape thats how they started in their Audio world. Dont forget that the Bluray is based on the CD. Philips Panasonic JVC Toshiba and Pioneer run the Bluray corporation. but everything is build on the invention of the CD same as the DVD is.
ASML : Its order ledger is less extensive than expected, which was the cause for the drop in stock value. Reasons for that are problems elsewhere in the world, for example but not limited to; Intel's oxidation issues, Taiwan - China conflict, the US administration 'requesting' for an export permit for China, to be withheld. My 2 cents : If Trump goes through with his plan to withdraw from NATO, they cease to be an ally. If not an ally, I don't see why we should forbid ASML from exporting to China ....... I understand the reasons why, but if the US ceases to be a friend and actually encourages Putin to attack Europe, then I'd say .. give Trump the middle finger.

Obviously. But who makes the machines who make chipmaking machines? Just one company, in one country: ASML in The Netherlands. The technology is so outrageously complex that nobody but NOBODY has been able to duplicate it. Not to date, anyway. There's a story doing the rounds that the Chinese tried to reverse-engineer one of the older ASML machines but failed miserably. They took it apart and never managed to put it back together again, let alone reverse-engineer it.
Some smaller biggest companies, Zeelandia, Kerckhaert.
China has copied Cisco systems (even the bugs) and then gave Cisco the middle finger and booted them.
This is how China does business.
And it is encouraged in China to F over people in business.
this will be history very soon , with the green deal
The best Phillip's invention has to be the senseo coffeemaker
no thats garbage unless you like water with a coffee taste. their best inventions are the Cassette tape CD/DVD and the Bluray. well its an corporate invention between Philips panasonic and JVC. But its build on the Dutch invention of the CD.
I think its the airfryer😋
1:53 Amsterdam? The image shows Rotterdam.
They forgot shell
Laser Disc before CD's and both are Phillips inventions
ASML is expecting double the profit next year
Expected which will never happen.
Philips most impressive innovation is ASML.

Philips: Compact Disc, DVD etc.
Cassette tape thats how they started in their Audio world. Dont forget that the Bluray is based on the CD. Philips Panasonic JVC Toshiba and Pioneer run the Bluray corporation. but everything is build on the invention of the CD same as the DVD is.
Royal Dutch Shell?
My city is mentioned🔥🔥🔥
