AMENDMENTS
Section 450(Change in Penalty):
1) On co.
Min ₹10000 + ₹1000/day in case of continuing offence.. subject to max of ₹200000
2) On every officer in default/any other person:
Min ₹10000 + ₹1000/day in case of continuing offence .. subject to max of ₹50000.
Section 454(New proviso inserted):
Co. has defaulted in filing annual return u/s 92 or fs u/s 137>>>>> AO issues an order u/s 454 imposing a penalty and directing co. to rectify the default>>>>> Co. Rectifies the default before issuance of such order or within 30 days of such order>>>>> all proceedings u/s 454 deemed concluded i.e. the company won't be liable imposed in the order issued by AO.
