At 6:47 it says line up the pickup mark but that's not where it was stock
Came here to see the inside. Mine had rust and mud
34 seconds in (idk the terminology) you use the screwdriver to pop it out mine will only come out about a quarter inch idk if I’m doing something wrong I’m replacing a gasket but I’m struggling cause I’m new to motors
that is the Boss fitting you may have rust inside of it or even dirt jamming it up i would use the open end of a wrench if you can get on it to pop it out the rest of the way just come at it from a few different sides kind of work it back and forth. once you get it out inspect it clean both boss fitting and crank then when putting back together use antisense
My stock stator the two pick ups lined up together at the top why does this video say to line it up with the bottom of the case
there was a few years that had duel pickups the stator has changes about 5 times from 87-2004
Should I use Loctite?
Yeah that's not the way my stator ligns up, and I also noticed his case doesn't have a slot were the bearing and seals are in the case. Totally different
Is the big bolt in the center reverse thread or is mine just stuck
I went to the end of the video and it looks like you tightened it in by hand like normal I'm going to try a pneumatic gun next time
What size were the upgraded bolts you held the stator with ?
Thanks
They are the same size just a stronger grade and different head (not a fan of the Japanese standard)
@@zoomzoompartsllc checked zoomzoom website couldn’t find it !!
Do u have the link to it ?
Thanks
