If you're having trouble getting a game to install, uncheck "Stop services on startup" in the container settings. That fixed any issues I had

@@pamfirr you need to look for packages with different names. usually there are 2 3 packages

Winlator constantly crashes on my white Odin 2 mini. And I can't select my full RAM. It only gives me 4 gigs

hey great video, im trying a game for the first time (fading afternoon), my keypad is recognized fine and i created a virtual controller in order to access some keys, but when the game starts thr odin controller is not responsive because i yet have to press some buttons i guess but i dont know how i access the virtual keys i created to access keypad, enter, ec, etc please you mind to tell me how
depending on the game, please check if that supports xinput or not, if yes, then latest winlator should work fine with the controller OOB

this is a great video thank you. I have odin 2 pro & installed the frost. I havent been able to launch a single game. Is there another step where you install all those physix drivers - my wine mono installer is also not completing. I tried games like prototype1 , 2 spiderman web of shadows or amazing spiderman 2
there seems to be some sort of issue with the latest frost release, please wait for winlator 7.0 or try a previous release.

Yes its a common issue with Odin 2, you can install Odin tools and switch the trigger modes to analog/both and see if that fixes the issue.

@@gamingafter9to6 thank you for your answer ! I did switch them to digital yesterday, which does the trick. BUT, when either analog sticks (or dpad) is moved or pressed, then the L2/R2 input disappears :( so you can only "shoot" when being perfectly immobile.

@@hlockespi yes a partial one, if you have an AYN Odin and Odin’s tool, switch the L2/R2 input from analog to digital. And if your game allows it, switch the mapping of L2/R2 to L1/R1

try setting the triggers to Both mode after installing Odin Tools

Hi, I tried to run GTA IV and it run very good, but the controls are messed up. I can't make the car go forward.

Where did you get your friends xinput-dinput zip file fix from? Can't find it anywhere and the only issue I'm having with winlator is my input.
I'm also having an issue where the joystick to look around is being overridden by the internal mouse. Would you have any suggestions?

@gamingafter9to6 it is. I read you have to add a registry file with the install path but I can't figure out how to get a virtual keyboard for input to edit the registry
@@jimstone8842 if you have the .reg file you can copy it from your PC and run it to add the registry entries
I finished dark sector. But absolutely horrible game. Just hated it haha.
it was released back in 2008 , it was a great game to play at that time.
