Great tips. I have already watched several such guides and I must admit that this one is definitely one of the best and most helpful - you speak in simple, understandable language and, most importantly, you give and show specific examples of how you should actually behave in each situation. Thank you bro.
I appreciate this, man! I am working on potentially making a series out of this or at least putting out similar content to this in the future. Let me know if there's anything in specific you'd like to see.
This was hands down the best guide on details and tips I've seen in awhile. Getting back into it for E-day while I used to be top 10 with my boy on 2v2 gnasher on mnk, I just don't seem to have tht finesse like I used to lol, this was very helpful thank you brother
Dude I used to be master rank in all game modes I wasn’t top 10 but I was like top 100. And I’m back to practice for gears e day. Haven’t decided whether I want to use mnk or controller just yet.
@@NickoMode_ No worries man. It’s a bit difficult to explain… I struggle with knowing when to use certain maneuvers/tactics. Now that I’m thinking about it again, I’m not sure if the knowledge I’m looking for is considered basic or more advanced but I’ll tell you what I’m looking to learn. This game is mainly about timing and positioning, and choosing the correct maneuver for the situation. For example, when it’s best to blind fire from or around cover, or when are good situations to ADS to get a kill… I really liked how you explained some situational tactics in your video, like what you’d do in a 2v1 or 1v1 situation with a certain type of cover layout. I ate that up. Overall I do all right for myself in matches, but I often encounter situations where an opponent will get the better of me, and I think to myself “I don’t even know how he killed me from there”. Or if I’m watching a gameplay video on TH-cam and trying to learn, I’ll see them do something and I can’t tell what exactly they did. I’m not sure what inputs were used. Even in solo bot matches I can’t quite figure it out. When I die I wanna understand why. “He outplayed me by doing this” or “I made a mistake by doing that”. When I’m not sure what happened it drives me crazy 😆 I think what I’m specifically looking for is what situations are best to either blind fire/ADS/hip fire with the gnasher, and also what the textbook maneuvers are (ex. when to up A or pop shot) and when is the best time to use them. I tried finding a video like this but didn’t have any luck, so I recognize maybe I just miss some things that are second nature to others and I might need to just do a lot more experimenting to figure some of these things out.
@@jhiatt1516 For sure man, I'll see if I can put something together. It might take a few weeks but I will put it in my list of videos to work on. Maybe I'll make this a series.
@@NickoMode_ I haven't PVP'd since Gears 1 (unless you count two weeks on Gears two)....but you could do 2v2 Gnasher strategies/map strategies. The matchmaking system matched me with two players at my skill level (yeah, right) and these guys destroyed me 7 to 1, bouncing around the map like they were made of rubber. ... You could also expand on strategical wall bouncing. Bouncing across the map is pretty, but it doesn't always lead to victory. A lot of people seem to do it just to do it.
28 years old. Still got it but that Gears 5 aim consistency is so bad that I'm forced to hip fire. It's somewhat wide and I can't pop shot, I'm a decent wallbouncer ish but not Mexican crazy good. I lost my step with people hiding behind cover. I used to trump those people back in my prime high-school years. I'll give this a watch, also PC mouse and keyboard has spoiled me big time hahaha

Good tip is use your elbow on character to see where shots will go/aim when blindfiring gnasher
2v2 Gnashers is brutal, non stop sliding thanks for the video

Appreciate the love dude! I plan on making more of these as the Gears of War hype is back!

Lots of great tips here! Do you have a basics guide?
Sorry for just seeing this, could you describe what you mean by "basics"?

@@NickoMode_ that would be awesome!
While pro players/ex pros are interesting to watch, you explain what to do and how to do it better than the other videos I've seen.
I appreciate you my man! I tried to be as clear and concise as possible. Let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to learn!

Great tips brother, how I see it gears 5 is a game of chess not checkers. Just taking your time being calm and picking your moves carefully
