Any dog can bite and this has a lot more to do with how the dog was raised, how much socialization they've had, and any potential traumatic incidents they've had rather than any particular breed in general. B. With that said, Golden Retrievers love to put things in they're mouth and are incredibly mouthy and will casually grab your clothes, hands, and arms if they haven't explicitly been trained not to. While not actually biting, it is annoying. My reference is myself as a manager at a dog daycare for 3 years (worked there 4 years) who handles 100+ dogs daily.
