I've been playing poker since the 60s in various forms, and I've always adhered to a rule taught me so many years ago I can't remember who said it to me. And that rule is , it is better to fold and be wrong than to call and be wrong. The flopped straights I probably fold, the 66 probably not, depends on my read and perception of my opponent. That's my 2 cents, for what it's worth to whoever bothers to read this. If you play this game long enough, you'll find that sometimes your the windshield, and sometimes your the bug.
It is funny how 15 or so years later that Negreanu is the rare player from HSP who still has enough of his own money to play these stakes when he seemingly lost $1 million over the course of the series. 😅😅😅 TV poker can be deceiving.
@t- milt also take into consideration he didn't pay for his buy ins... his sponsors fronted him his buy ins. He made A LOT of money of sponsors and being the face poker sites

The hand where he had flopped the nuts against Lindgrens straight.....it was a bad call. He couldn't beat anything except a stone cold bluff. Even k10 beats him. The rest of the hands, there is no getting away from. Daniel is good enough to get rid of the straight but he was tired of getting out drawn.

if you're wondering who the spot is in this game? it was Eli Elezra FOR SURE.

How does a 2 as a last card can make a pair of 6 win ?
Elezra won with a full house: 6x6x6 + 2x2. Which is stronger than Daniel's straight: 2x3x4x5x6.
