    Love SLS products, and their bottles are easily the best liquid spraying bottles.

    Love the forehead mount and live action stuff. Got one last year and used it today for the first time this season. I bet my neighbors think I’m nuts talking to myself. Great video bro. 👊

      LOL!! I’m actually thinking of getting a forehead mount. I guess I should have mentioned that I did this all one handed! Which one do you use?

    Never tried SLS products but they seem to deliver great results! For a small lawn it's perfect, connect to your hose and go!

      Been using them for a while. The hose ends are great for smaller yards. They do sell by the gallon if you want to use it for larger applications.

    Does liquid fertilizer absorb into the soil and get taken up by the roots or is it absorbed directly into the blades?

    • @TheLawngineer
      @TheLawngineer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both… but mostly the soil since there is such a high volume of water since it’s a hose end application.

    Does this stain concrete if you get overspray?

    • @TheLawngineer

      I’ve never experienced this. I have over-sprayed too.

    Can you use this if l already placed turf builder? My grass hasn't grown for a few months

    • @TheLawngineer
      @TheLawngineer  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      How much turf builder did you put down? You can combine with granular fertilizers, but you need to be mindful of how much nitrogen to be careful not to burn the lawn.

    Question: If my soil is somewhat moist when should I water post-application of this solution?? Thank you.

      Like if it was watered day or two prior to the application of the Simple Lawn Sol.

    What’s that shut off valve that you have on your hose?

    • @TheLawngineer
      @TheLawngineer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a full port ball valve from Eley. It’s amazing! Solid brass.

    I just got mine and no product is coming out. Any fixes? Made sure it’s in “On” position but it’s just plain water coming out

    • @TheLawngineer
      @TheLawngineer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Possibly a bad sprayer. Simple Lawn Solutions should replace it. There should be a straw from the sprayer head that goes down to the bottom of the bottle. Make sure that’s still in place. Otherwise, should be replaced.

    • @HEMi1995

      @@TheLawngineer yeah there’s a straw. Emptied half of the product to get a better look & noticed nothing was being drawn up. Gonna get myself a replacement

    How long do you wait to start watering regularly after fertilizing?

    • @TheLawngineer
      @TheLawngineer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For me, I have yet to setup my system. I put down a granular app last week and watered that in immediately. Video comes out this weekend.

    • @TheLawngineer
      @TheLawngineer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Everyone’s watering schedule is going to be different. If the soil is moist, there’s no need to water. Typically, once the season starts, it’s time to start watering.

  • @Anthonyvelez13
    @Anthonyvelez13 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    With liquid fertilizer do you have to apply every 2 weeks??

    • @TheLawngineer
      @TheLawngineer  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you were purely on a liquid program, then you would apply more frequently. It’s called “spoon feeding”. There isn’t a whole lot of nitrogen in each application when compared to granular. I’ve seen people apply anywhere between weekly and monthly. Just gotta do some math to make sure you aren’t exceeding too much nitrogen… it’s easier to burn the lawn with liquid if you aren’t too careful.
      If you are considering a full liquid program, individual bottles like this will cost $$$. Companies do sell in bulk (including simple lawn solutions) to help save money.

    lots of talk (paid I am sure) lots of bs. I put this on my zoysia lawn and it did NOTHING. Waste of money. Get some good granular and forget this crap

    • @TheLawngineer
      @TheLawngineer  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Can’t go wrong with granular. You’ll get more bang for your buck. If you use liquids in the form of these spray bottles, you’ll need to apply more frequently to keep up with the nitrogen requirements of the grass plant.
