I have a 991 C2S, and just ordered a MY25 G80. Glad to hear how reliable they are. My 911 has been the most reliable car I've ever owned, I've never had to take it in for anything other than scheduled maintenance. I previously had an F82 and had to get a new engine after a spun crank hub.
I couldn’t imagine owning a G80 M3 and it not even being my “sports car” lol. Goals brother! Well, even with me making what I do, I would need to make another $100k/yr to feel comfortable buying both of these cars. That will most likely never happen, but it’s cool to see that others have made it pretty well in life, and watch their successes.
Would love to see your take on the Giulia QV vs the M3 vs the 911. I know people who have owned both and have said the Giulia is as close as you can get to a 911 in the sports sedan segment.
Speaking from experience, Your comparing apples and oranges two different worlds lol! which the main caveat for people who haven't driven a P car is they both take different lines specially on the track or on the canyon, u can;t follow the lines of the P's but that doesnt mean u can't beat them; u can but just don't follow their lines hahaha, power is night and day unless u move up to a turbo's. And as far as the rod bearing issue? what is the percentage of e9x that "really" had issues and how many who just got infected by what they heard and did replace their rod bearing and found out their rod bearings are fine to begin with and blew their engine /threw a rod after the rod bearing replacement due to improper installation lol!
A Porsche's dynamics will be better than the M3 in pretty much every metric, as a matter of fact. M3 is a good car tho and will seat 4-5 people comfortably.
when it comes to F series i prefer f82 m4 vs f80 m3 but when it comes to G generation.... G82 doesn't have wide rear arches, looks bulky and not slick for the coupe. No aggressive bodylines on rear fenders. So g80 even thou is a sedan looks much more sportier with it aggressive side body lines and arched rear fenders. So even though being a coupe guy and owner of f82 my next upgrade will be g80 just because of looks. Have g82 has rear fenders of g80 or even g87 that will be a no brainer for me. But black on black g82 looks just like a g 4 series
@@TheDailyDriven Felt the same way until I seen a 2025 frozen black g82 with the CSL tail lights. It looks like a car Batman would drive. Also fresh kicks has the hardest G82 imo
@@valeriyGennadyevich I think the G82 looks just like the G22, there’s almost nothing distinguishing them from one another. G20 is way better than the G22 as a base line, and then the G80 gets a massive boost over the G20, while the G82 looks like a carbon copy of the G22. The delta between the 3 and 4 only grows exponentially from G2x to G8x. I didn’t feel that way with the F series.. Now, I prefer the look of a G20 over a G82. I hate the taillights on all the 4 series(the laser lights are an improvement but still a generally wack shape that reminds me of a wack car), I hate how skinny they look, they remind me of an Accord coupe from the late 2000’s, it’s a massive fumble, I don’t get it. The G80 is so much sexier to my eye, it might be my favorite M of all time, next to the E46. The g82 might be my least favorite.
Sold my 992 Gts for G80. Far as the handling g80 doesn’t even come close to 911 but I love the smoothness and the torque better in a G80. 911 is closer to a super car then Bmw Benz or Audi. I love both but you get what you pay for end of the day
@@atruetoneI switched because my dad wanted a GLE63 S which I bought him so I had to downgrade to G80 for now. Can’t afford new GLE63 S and a 911 at same time lol.
I drove a G80 X drive comp this weekend and the car was not what i expected. You guys hype this car like its the messiah or something 😂. I didnt like the experience at all. The car is really heavy its literally a boat it does well to hide it’s weight but you can still feel it. I think the E9X is the last good M car. The F8X and G8X aren’t it. I drive a a90 Supra Btw and i prefer that over the G80. I was thinking about trading my car for one now. Hell no 😂
Stock for stock the G80 will destroy the Supra in every metric. FBO for FBO, once again the g80 all day. Cost for maxed out performance they all lose to the M240.
I absolutely love my manual G80. I’ve had multiple manual 911s and the transmission isn’t on the same level but it’s still solid.

another great video! I love having best of both worlds with the 911 and the M3. manual and PDK is a dream come true.
You have an awesome setup. #Goals lol. ☝🏻

I have a BMW M4 G82, you can ask the car to turn the temperature up and down, and you can tell it to open and close the windows.

Anyone that would choose a G82 over a G80 is just absolutely off the reservation.
I'm biased but I have to agree. Even with the F8x. F80 > vs F82 any day
