In the case of the Eriksson twins, I think a shared trauma is actually more likely than the theory of shared psychosis. There were no instances of strange behaviour before they took their trip, they were considered harmless but odd before their oddness drew scrutiny, which may have scared them to the point of flight. The man that was stabbed had offered one of them a place to stay 'out of pity'? Even if altruism was his only intention, an emotionally unstable person may still have perceived him to be a threat. Impossible to tell without knowing more though. But that's also true for the shared psychosis theory. Neither twin attempted any defense for their actions or would speak about their motives, so the theory of temporary insanity due to shared psychosis may very well have been accepted because other possibilities were more...uncomfortable for the UK authorities and public to want to consider when they didn't have to.
Well... considering that twins are typically genetically VERY close, and the fact that there are well over 8 BILLION people on the planet... and coincidences, I can accept it.
They were also named after two fictional Witches. Ursula and Sabrina... That's uncool of the parents, or more likely, their single mother. Our names have a lot to do with how we get treated and what we think of ourselves as adults.
Having a stroke is so insane. I had a mild one last year at 35 yo and trying to talk when you literally can’t is wild. Your brain is running three different monologues at once and although you are aware you just can’t make it make sense. Can’t even imagine going through that while on live tv.

I was a child when the Vietnam lottery took place on TV in the 60s. My sister's boyfriend was eligible for the draft, so we sat with crossed fingers as they pulled out each birthdate. His birthdate was not an early number. I think it was somewhere in the 200s. I didn't realize I was watching something historic. I do know of some young men from our community who died in Vietnam because of that draft. Very sad. (I was just looking online and found that this lottery method continued through March 1975! My little brother's number was #37 that year!! Thank God that the Vietnam War ended in April 1975!!! It gave me chills when I saw that just now!)
People say we got rid of the draft. We didn't. It was renamed to "Selective Service" and every male has to register with it upon reaching age 18. It hasn't ever been used, thankfully, but the fact that it's still there, and REQUIRED is very disturbing.
we don’t have a draft. Selective service is just that, selective. Yes you have to register, but you don’t have to join the military. The draft is required enlistment, you don’t have a choice.
@@csailer2353 And what happens if you're "selected", pray tell? Do you....take public office? Work as a postman? Get selected to oversee a minting facility? Or.....are you put into the military?
Not too long after I moved to Maine one of the local anchors began to have issues speaking and one of the viewers called in and let them know he was having a stroke. They caught it so early he barely suffered any damage, and he thanked the viewer, who if I remember correctly (I may not it was decades ago and I have dementia) was a nurse. The second the anchor started speaking gibberish and got this confused look on his face many of us in medical professions knew what was happening, horrified we watched. Never occurred to me to call the station. You'd be surprised how many times anchors were saved by viewers.

When I was little, my brother very specifically told me not to sit on his bike while he ran in to use the restroom. Our front yard was basically a giant ant hill, making it very squishy, and easy for the kickstand to sink into it. Of course, I sat on the bike, and of course it tipped over. I landed on a stick that went straight through my hand. My brother ran out hearing my screams, and yanked the stick out, begging me not to tattle to our parents. 🤣🤣🤣 (There was literally a hole through my hand, they found out immediately upon seeing me.) I was 7 when that happened, and still have a tiny scar on the back of my hand, and a red mark on my palm... I'm 50 now. Seeing that nail in a bag one just gave me flashbacks. 😂
I’m 42. When I was like 10 I fell off a canoe trailer my cousin and I weren’t supposed to be playing on. At first I thought be ankle was just twisted but my arm had caught the skin on something and it ran like I nylon. The skin was barely hanging on. We were so scared of getting in trouble we were rubbing sticks on the blood trying to blame it on that. 😂 Stupid kids. Your story reminded me of that.
I’m 42 and as a kid my sister and I were climbing on old huge fallen trees in a forest near our house. The tree I was on started falling and I leapt off. I ended up with a stick through my leg, tore a bunch of muscles, tons of splinters and was off school for over a month. Don’t remember anything about it, went into shock! But that nail in the hand gave me the flashback shudders.

I've been in such a thunderstorm in Arizona, outside of Goodyear, when lightning struck about 200 yards from me. I happened to be facing it, so along with leaving my ears ringing I was momentarily blinded.
Imagine having a lighting rolling at you after it hits concrete. I have. That is wild, surreal, and scary too! Lightning that rolls around, ricocheting all over the place, unpredictable where it will go and when it will stop! And you can smell the electricity too! Alarming indeed! I definitely do not wanna imagine being hit by Lightning and surviving. I know someone who allegedly did, and they're alive and well to date.
I'm glad we both noticed. Because it kinda left me wondering where that guy went lol. Not that the narration was bad either way. Just unexpected is all.
the dad and the kid makes total sense if you're a parent. my kids will often mouth the words i'm saying and if i'm giving them a bite of food i find myself opening my own mouth as well (and they're well beyond the age where i'm doing it deliberately to get them to eat). you spend so much time together you just kind of mentally sync up.
It was a pre-scripted answer to a question they knew they would be asked and the kid was supposed to just read the answer off a teleprompter/script. The dad was nervous and reading off the same teleprompter/script the kid was. He was just nervous his kid would mess something up but didn’t want to admit the answer wasn’t genuine. It’s why he looks so uncomfortable trying to explain what happened. Opening your mouth while feeding your baby is not the same as mouthing your young child’s words as they speak them. That would be crazy.
Early French theorists referred to this as Folie à deux, which is French for 'madness of two'. Later this became known as shared psychosis, then shared delusional disorder. SDD is a psychiatric syndrome in which symptoms of a delusional belief are "transmitted" from one individual to another.
I remember watching those lottery broadcasts on TV to see if my older brother, his friends, and my brother-in-law would be drafted. I remember being so relieved when their numbers weren't called.
#35 it could easily be explained if there was some liquid trapped under it that was evaporating away which would cause a cushion effect and have it slide along the table. It also would explain why the glass would be stuck down on the table. An example of this would be taking a lid off a steaming pot and putting it on a flat surface and watch it slide. Or putting a pan down with some hot water under it and if the conditions are right it will slide like that

Back in 2002 in the second edition of the brazilian version of Big Brother, a contestant named Cida was taking a sunbath alone when suddenly she got up claiming someone was calling her name (she tought it was the show crew at first), she got very confused and distressed, as another participant lied to her, claiming it was she that called her at first time just to calm her down, she was reliefed and said she had mistaken the girls voice with her sister's. I arrived in Los Angeles and was on a downtown tour on the day the Rodney King riots broke out. We did see some people running around, but just missed the rioting, looting and attacks on individuals in all of the locations the tour guide had just taken us less than an hour before. We watched fires burning all over the city and the new coverage since for days the airport and most public locations were shut down. That tour company had to know the King verdict was coming down that day and should have canceled our tour!
Why? They couldn't predict the insanity that was going to happen that day. You said it yourself, you were there an hour before. You're fine. And they aren't psychic
They DID predict there would be problems if the verdict came down as not guilty. The police had been on alert for problems and the driver of our tour bus was the supervisor, because the other drivers did not want to do it- for fear of problems. We didn't know, because we were coming from out of town. The did not know that it would become so huge, though, but they had the Watts Riots in the past so they knew it was possible.
I think that the police were on alert, but I don’t think anyone really expected that much of a violent reaction. Although I did not agree with jury’s decision.

28:10 where did she get the idea that the draft is no longer permitted? as every man knows, the US still requires selective service registration, which specifically exists so that they can restart the draft someday. poor research.
Selective service required males to register at 18 in case of a draft, but they're not immediately called to active duty. A true draft, as depicted, was those being called to required active duty and that does not currently happen.

Me and my Dad saw the Mayday one live… creepy stuff. It was on channel 7 here in Australia. They tried to explain it away by saying it was a glitched clip from the program saying something like “Jesus Christ, it’s the Navarones”, which absolutely nobody believed, especially after the original source of the audio was discovered
The streaks of light could've been because of how the camera processes that input (like how long exposure cameras that track moving objects have those streaks). It could also have been because of the frames per second rate.
Seagulls also don't fly in the patterns the unknown lights did. Notice that the lights will fly up and then dive down again. Seagulls soar at a certain altitude to search for food. They don't fly up and down like that. Plus look how high the unknown lights are flying above the city. They are much higher up then the shot of the seagulls. They also don't slow down and suddenly gain speed. Check the flight patterns of seagulls and find a video to observe them on a beach. Pay attention to the right-most lights The 2 are not the same

So you still believe we are alone in the universe?? Ets exist. They and their craft operate on a higher frequency than us. That's why they appear fuzzy.

Same deal with bigfoot. Even now when almost everyone has a smartphone, UFOs and bigfoot are still only ever filmed in the worlds grainiest footage lol
@@Lion_Heart_Zimbabwe UFO does not mean they are full of E.T.s. It simply means they couldn't be identified by pilots, or others who are viewing them live, or recorded video. Most have been debunked, as video artifacts, or as faked. (Also) the videos are fuzzy (and black & white) because they are from air force jets. That's how radar/lidar operates. Of course we're not alone in the universe (or multiverse). It would be naive to think so. That also doesn't mean we will ever see a visitor from another planet. Just as it's unlikely that we will ever get far enough from Earth to ever see another living being. Perhaps a radio telescope aimed into deep space will uncover some clues. Perhaps that has already been done to us, but neither will ever know because it's a one way device.
8:12 Those Arizona monsoon storms are no joke! Back in 1986 on a road trip from San Diego county, CA to Denton county, TX my then GF and I encountered heavy rain while driving on east bound I-10 near the NM line. The thunder was super loud and the rain was coming down heavily when a bolt of lightening hit the car immediately in front of us. Outside of a momentary, super bright light nothing happened to that vehicle. Ober the next few years, we drove that route several times. On another trip during the summer, we encountered a mass migration of toads crossing the road again on east bound I-10 in the same location of AZ! The sensation of countless toads being crushed under the tires felt like it does when you pop bubble wrap. Then on another trip, in that same area of east bound I-10, we encountered a pack of about 10-12 starving feral dogs feasting on one of their companions that had recently gotten run over. All the cars had to slow down and go around them to avoid hitting them. Those canines had no fear of vehicles as they chowed down on their deceased pack mate!

The fact that there are more than one set of twins who have done things like that is the thing that gives me the creeps.

Trump referred to these boys in Vietnam as "losers and suckers" for sacrificing their lives for others. Not sure why people still support him.
we don’t have a draft. Selective service is just that, selective. Yes you have to register, but you don’t have to join the military. The draft is required enlistment, you don’t have a choice.

When I was little, my brother very specifically told me not to sit on his bike while he ran in to use the restroom. Our front yard was basically a giant ant hill, making it very squishy, and easy for the kickstand to sink into it. Of course, I sat on the bike, and of course it tipped over. We did see some people running around, but just missed the rioting, looting and attacks on individuals in all of the locations the tour guide had just taken us less than an hour before. We watched fires burning all over the city and the new coverage since for days the airport and most public locations were shut down. 11:08 Wendy Williams actually was diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia, conditions which can impact personality and communication, according to the Mayo Clinic. Also, she is deceased as of November 2023.
Omg the twin sister thing was BIZARRE!!
Huntington WV a few years ago our local news journalist was live on air reporting the icy roads and was hit by a car that lost control. She was fine and told the woman driving she was okay and it wasn't the first time she had been hit by a car. She continued with her story like a Boss.
@41:38 - when was this recorded? Alcala died in 2021.
recorded in 2021 or earlier, the only NEW videos from WM are the top 10 ones.
anything top 20 and higher are compilations of older videos.
@@chrismeulen8108 ahh that makes sense!
It was very nice of the Galactic command to speak through an interrupted broadcast while simultaneously casting the words on screen 😂
Did you know that not everyone has the ability to be able to hear out of their ears (deaf people???) & that there are also people who are unable to see out of their eyes as well? (Blind people???)
Subtitles are awesome for those who cannot hear at all, can only hear a little, can hear out of only one ear, etc. There are also people like myself, who are not deaf, but have damaged the ability to hear very well due to several years of listening to music with earbuds at the loudest volume setting possible, or standing way too close to gigantic speakers at concerts/shows/music festivals, etc.
I watch anything possible with subtitles, so yeah. Shoutout to the Galactic Federation for wanting their message to reach those of us who can’t hear anything but can read, those of us who can hear but can’t see, & everyone else far & few in between.
@@paigeyysnydeyy Holy ṣĥıṭ... did that ever go RIGHT over your head.
I know what subtitles are for....I use them quite often.
I found it funny that apparently ALIENS do too. 🙄
why does the presenter suddenly change? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FIRST PRESENTER??? Talk about creepy!
in case your dumbass hasn't noticed, any WM top 20 video and or higher,
is a compilation video of older WM videos, hence the voice change.
Its two videos edited together
30:14 Yo why the ignorant tone? Those artists were absolutely right and its concerning how easily they could change the news footage.
20:25 I watched the funeral, I thought it was just a voiceover....huh. I know that during the service, a spider showed up on the coffin and when it was done, there was a massive rainbow over the place for two days. I said at the time that she was watching and saying ''she is happy''' This sort of thing is spooky
Awesome topic. You guys are committed and we appreciate you
wasn't there a reporter who ended her life on live TV ?
Not sure, but I do remember seeing Bud Dwyer kill himself on TV ... I was about 13 at the time and it still haunts me to this day.
She did, though the video circulating on TH-cam purporting to be her unaliving herself may be fake. Still creepy, though.
@@paulastiles5507It is. After her death, only one copy of the broadcast survived and it's locked up.

The only creepy and disturbing thing is telling the Internet, who It should like and who It shouldn't.
2:30 my dude thats the steam from her breath as she turned and talked in that direction hahaha
She was facing the other way. And visible breath disappears quickly.

I'm going to call headlights from a car nearby.
It's fog. This is what it looks like when the wind blows as it forms.
28:25 I lived in SF during the 15yr anniversary. I was at work & there was a small quake. It wasn't bad, but enough to shake the chair I was in (originally thought it was a co-worker messing with me). I grew up with hurricanes instead of earthquakes, so I seriously freaked out when I was told it was 15yrs almost to the day.
Very convenient in the second one to afterwards go “oh yeah I felt a presence there.”
from the Bird kind lol,🤣🤭
love it anna!,🌠🌠💞🌠🌠
Thanks that was funy!.💫🥇💫
'...nearly struck by lightening...' ......a block away.
#11 - I worked swing shift (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.) at Kaiser Morse in Sacramento. I remember these riots and we had to be escorted by security to our cars that night in Sacramento. Terrifying.
How can any clip with Jim Jordan in it not be creepy? The was at least the lookout for a notorious pdf file.
13:30 the sliding cup of water..... explained. it probably spilled a little and moved by suction along the watery "trail"
I would never go to a cemetery at night... I am way to jumpy 😅
same here

If for some strange reason you do find yourself in cemetery at night and experience some kind of disturbance, 88% percent of the time, I’m putting my money on this involving one of the other very much alive yet highly suspicious individuals hanging out in a graveyard at night.
…the other 12% of the time I blame it on the effects the 5 hits of acid.

I've had a stroke, I kept saying I'm fine, but then shake my head like "no".I was actually in the hospital for a minor proceedure..I remember being asked questions. But it was like looking through a tube.

WatchMojo: Watch this creepy guy staring at the camera
My husband and I were watching the baseball game and MIL was in San Francisco working when suddenly the tv screen showed glitching and someone said "earthquake" before the screen went black. Jump to us frantically trying to reach her and getting constant "out of order" or busy signals as we called the hotel. It was a horrible night, waiting to hear from her as we learned that the freeway had collapsed on many cars, killing people and trapping others who awaited rescue. We finally got the call that she was fine but I will NEVER forget where I was that evening and am so sorry for the people that were killed in this earthquake.
