This report, if true, is basically a tacit acknowledgment that the recent attack on Israeli military facilities was largely successful and that the Iron Dome was useless against Iranian missiles. From what I understand, some, if not many of the missiles were hypersonic, so I wonder if even the THAAD system would be effective against them. Either way, Iran can simply just send enough missiles to overwhelm any system that the Americans deploy.
