I feel like Eliza suits your name taste beautifully. Strong, classic, 'za' sound. And George and Eliza sound very cute together!
I totally agree!! Eliza seems perfect for her
Sj strum baby name monday videos are the most helpful thing ever! Or the baby name envy podcast xx
A million percent the name needs to be Hallie 😍 you looked so happy when talking about it and George and Hallie work so well 🥰
I’m an Erin and I get complimented all the time! I would say at least once a week someone will say “I love your name!” Or “what a beautiful name” when I say it! Love your choices! X
I love Hallie! My surname is Potter so we couldn’t have gone for it 😂
Your choices are all gorgeous xx
Are you kidding?! That would have been the coolest name ever!!
I’m a Hazel! I’ve always loved my name. Slightly unusual but still classic - my parents did good! Sounds great with George 😉 Sending loads of love xx
I could see you with a Hallie or Lottie! Also Hattie kind of goes with both of those :D Any of those would go great with George!
I have a imogen and callum she is immy for short. When we where choosing names we liked Charlotte (lottie) and Freya for girls xx
Hallie is beautiful and goes well with your surname and with George. I like almost all of the names but Hallie is my fave! Congrats on your new baby!
Aria was in our top 5 when we were picking names, I liked Elena and Mila but my husband wasn't so keen!
We ended up choosing Imogen (Immy) which we love.
Our little boy, Tobias, was born last year and if he had been a girl she would have been Rosie or Sophia! 🤭 I also love Aurora or Hazel, and my niece is Arabella! Too many choices 🥰
My little girl is Eleanor and I love it! So many choices for nicknames but so classic and English.
We are currently 34 weeks pregnant with a baby boy and torn between Charlie, Sonny, Alfie, George & Harry! So hard naming a human haha!
I usually cant find any new good names that I would fall in love with, but now I have😂 Arianell! Thank you for sharing ❤
A lovely list Shan! We loved Lily and Sofia, so we named our daughter Lily Sofia 🥰 names I also loved were Loretta (Etta for short) Esme, Sienna, Lorena, Amelie, Tia and Clara. My sister is called Lucy and I also love that name 💖🫶
Iv just found out I’m pregnant with baby no.2, even though baby no.1 is only 6 months old! This was definitely not planned so I’m freaking out. I’m watching all your videos to make me feel better 😂
Absolutely love Elliott for a boy! I grew up loving the name thinking it was going to be my babys name.. then I went and got a hubby with the last name Elliott.. 😂 So we've now got a Lucas Elliott 🥰
I named my daughter Akira, but some of the contenders I really loved were Maya, Mia, Kiara and Ella. All the names in your list also are beautiful! Before having a baby I never knew how difficult it was to actually choose a name that they will have for the rest of their life! Congratulations!
Hazel is BEAUTIFUL! Doesn’t matter if she has blonde hair and blue eyes! Don’t stereotype it, your baby girl will be gorgeous and hazel is a gorgeous name!
I kind of like names that start with an M for George's sister, somehow I love that! For example Millie or Mia (could be a nickname for Emilia), Maisie or Mirabel (you could go for Bella there too!). And if you like Ariana, you might also like Liana? And if you like Arielle, maybe you like Brielle?
By the way, our neighbour Hazel is blond and blue eyed and I never questioned it 😅 so I don't think that's an issue really! I also love Charlotte together with George, you can go down Lottie as a nickname but also go for Charlie, also you keep the connection to 'Louis' because you are choosing the other of Prince George's siblings 😅 I actually kind of like that! Can't wait to find out what you are choosing 😍
Aww we have an Elliot! It's not a name we see often on people's baby name lists ❤️
Love both Hallie and Hazel! So cute 😍
My 3 are called Meghan, Imogen and my boy is called Arden. It’s so hard when looking at names for your kids. From your list I personally like Hallie. I’m sure whatever you pick will be lovely ❤️ xx
I also like Elena, it is popular in Germany. I worry in UK people would confuse it with Eleanor which more traditional here.
I'm with you on the Zara name! It's one of my favourite names right now. We have a Reina, my husband didn't like the name initially but in the delivery room you tend you get whatever you want haha
I have a little boy called Joel, such a cute name. I wanted Hallie for our little girl too but it clashed too much with her surname. So I went with Autumn! It seems to suit her well. Xx
Hallie would've been the name we chose if our son was a girl 🥰 love how cute Hallie is but also feel like Hal as a nickname sounds more badass and could totally grow with them!
Hazel and Erin are my faves to go with George.
I think Hazel is so gorgeous and stand out. Her hair will change as she grows and my son had blue eyes til he was 18 months and now they are green/hazel so don't miss the name because of that! Thanks for sharing :)
Love the names. I also think Gigi or Hattie/Harriet fit your style and go well with George ☺️ x x
My best friend as a child was called Hazel, she had beautiful long white blonde hair and blue eyes, every time I hear the name Hazel I picture that little blonde girl! X
We have a 2yo called Alfie and just welcomed a baby girl who we called Ada with the middle name Rose 💕
If you love Zara but can’t get passed the brand, what about Clara? My little girl is Clara Madeline Marie and I adore it ☺️ x
I would have changed our baby’s name in the hospital to Hazel if my husband got on board! Such a beautiful name!
Will you ask St Strum - that would be a good collab video! 🥰
Erin is a lovely name 😍 when you said Zara and George, made me think of Asda lol out of your top 3, Hallie is my favourite I think!
Omg yessss Zara and George at Asda 😭😅 my two fave places for kids clothes too 😂😂
I love all these girl names ❤️ My little girl is Penelope, everyone calls her Penny. My partner hated the name and we never settled on anything until she was born, one look at her and he insisted we couldn't call her anything else as she wouldn't suit it 🥰
100% understand your reasoning for not being sure on Hazel. We were going between Darcy or Scarlett for our daughter and I had to wait until she came out with flaming red hair to decide that she was definitely Scarlett
I like Charlotte, Stella, Scarlett, Sophie, Violet, Lydia, Lorelai, Olivia for girls. I love Theodore for a boy, as well as Jack, Noah and Oliver. I really like traditional names!
Some of my fave names are Sienna, Addilyn, Amelia, Violet& Olivia. Really like Hallie, Hazel& Arielle from your list 🥰
Lots of beautiful names! To throw a couple of another ones into the mix, have you considered Azra or Alara? They’re both Turkish girls name 😘
Just a few more to consider :) Zoe, Zena, Olivia, Penelope (Nell), Harriet, Louisa, Matilda
My little boy is called Tommy🥰 you are so right about Erin🤣 I've noticed that too haha x
How about Lyra, or Hattie as small tweaks to the some of the names that you loved. It is so hard getting names past partners.
My 16 month old is Finley, it’s literally the only name we both absolutely loved! Boys names are so hard yet I have a million girls names for if I am ever lucky enough to get pregnant again & have a girl!
We had a MC before we had Finley and we called her Poppy Charlotte!
Finley would have been Nevaeh if he was a girl, now I’m leaning more towards the classic names like my top name is Esmè - then my other faves are like Ava, Amelia, Freya, Maeve, Eleanor, Lola, Olivia, Ophelia, Sienna/Senna, Seren etc
I love Zara, Hazel, Hallie, Lottie, Aria!
Finley has two cousins called Aurora and Isabella so they’re off our list🤣 xx
My little girl is called Robyn, I think it’s a lovely name haha just putting it out there 😂
I have a Zara, I was a little worried about the association with the brand but honestly I never really think about it now 🥰 love her name so much ❤️
Loved this! Your husband sounds so similar to my boyf with vetoing loads of the names 😂 how about Rory as a nickname to Aurora? Less syllables and also less girly, I could also see you with an Evie, Ava, Phoebe or Gracie xxx
I have a boy called Luca. 🤗
On my girl names list I had Astrid, Jasmine, and Lottie. Girls names I think are SO easy compared to boys 😂
Our little boy is called Enzo 🥰 He's only 2 1/2 but it had been our favourite name since 2011. I'm hoping it doesn't become too popular!
I love Hallie ,that goes so well with George 😍
I have a boy and a girl. My girl was born first her name is Evie and middle name Rose. I then had my son who we named Edward, middle name Lewis. We call him Eddie for short. We refer to them as Evie and Eddie. I love how they both have similar sounding names. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy 💖
We named our daughter Alyza. Pronounced the same as Aliza. We absolutely love it x
My goddaughter is called Aurora and it’s gorgeous. We all call her Rory x
My middle name is Zara and I love it! Both Hallie and Hazel were on our list for our girls so love them both. So excited for you!
Definitely hallie!!! I have a hallie n I just think it's such a pretty name and not overly popular either 😍
I remember the struggle of agreeing a name with my husband.... in the end, there was only one for each of ours we agreed on. We went for Eliza for a girl
... as you describe, I see it as a feminine, girly name but also a strong, independent girl. And I can confirm she is all of that.... she loves allllll of the pretty, glittery, pink, girly things but also happily hold her own sword fighting and rolling about with her older brother and she is very determined, creative and a bit fierce if I'm honest! Happy choosing xx
Also for Elliott, there is a writer called George Elliott ( a pen name for Mary Ann Evans ).
My favourite author so our first born son is named Elliot George. So very much done intentionally 🙂 xx
Lovely names. I’m 35 weeks and can’t even get a boys shortlist figured out 😂 My boys are Noah James & Oliver Louis. I seem to be leaning towards more out there ish boy names this time - I love River, Teddy and Oakley but not sure they really suit us and my husband actually laughed when I suggested most of them 🤦🏽♀️ I think girls names are a lot easier there are so many pretty ones. My girls favourites were Lottie, Annie, Zara, Callie, Otillie (Tilly) & Amalie. I also have two girls already who are Phoebe and Heidi.
On the subject of always having to correct your name, my name is Sarah-Louise. Popular names from the mid 90s and I still have to correct people on spelling and pronunciation! I get Sara, Zarah, Zara etc with both. One time I was called Zara-Louis!! It’s quite funny sometimes 😅 I don’t think how “out there” or traditional you go with a name really matters with that as such, people will always say/spell it wrong 😂
I had my daughter nearly a year ago and we called her Poppy. Its pretty, fairly well known but not too common. Congratulations by the way. Good luck with your baby girl. Xx
My 8 month old is Erica. I wanted something traditional but uncommon. I'm yet to meet another one of Gen Alpha!
Have you thought of Harriet? I think I goes really well with George x
We named our daughter Eliza as I wanted two syllables and a slightly unique name too! I loved Elena but just couldn’t ask I used to be so obsessed with The Vampire Diaries!🤍
I’ve got an Eleanor Florence - same age as George! Congratulations ❤
We have an Elliot George, Nathaniel William and just welcomed Tobias Henry 💙💙💙
If we had a girl our top names were Lydia, Delilah and Mathilda 🙂 They would all sound lovely with George I think ☺️ xxx
I love Beatrice (Bea), Evelyn & Matilda (could do the Mattie nickname you liked for a boy x
My daughter is called Eliza (would have been George if she was a boy)- Hazel was also on our list!!
My little boy is called Luca and my dad is called Lorenzo (he's italian)! I'd never met another Lorenzo until recently when my friend named her little boy Lorenzo and there's also a Lorenzo is Luca's nursery class so its definitely up and coming. I love Hallie for your little girl. My favourite for a future daughter 🤞 is Rosie, but would like to stick with Italian heritage and go with something like Rosella maybe. I'm Valentina so it's just my fiance who's left out with an English name (Jonny) 😂 xx
All these girls names what you mentioned in this video are gorgeous. My personal favourite its Alice (in Hungarian Alíz as I am from Hungary) also I like Bella,Rose,Nora,Emma. I love short names 🥰😘
My husband was adamant any name we chose for our 1st had to be one syllable as otherwise the name just gets shortened 😂 I love how everyone approaches choosing a name, but to be fair it helped me and my indecisiveness by him saying that! Elaina is so pretty and unusual and sounds lovely with George. So excited to see what name you settle on when baby girl is here 🥰
My little girl's middle names are Rosabella Jade. It's so hard we changed our minds twice on her first name as like u we wanted it to sound nice with our son's name and our surname. I love the unusual names. Hazel is my favourite 🥰🥰
George and Erin go so well together!
My little girl is called Ariella & we call her Ari for short. Her baby cousin is called Hallie & I loooove that name too.
I think charlotte shortened too Lottie is a great compromise! Xx
I absolutely adore Arianell if I had heard of it before we chose our bumps name, I would have pushed for it. My mums name was Helen so I thought this was a beautiful nod to her as she’s get called Nell. I’m sorry I don’t like any belle related names just because our first baby boom wave among friends, all of them are a version of Isabelle or Bella (obviously around the time of the twilight films 😂). Our girls name is a very marmite name, people either love or hate it so we’re keeping it secret until she arrives - 8 weeks to go 😍
We liked hazel for a middle name! We were going to use Harper Hazel because she was an autumn baby but I decided not too!
What about Effie? Or Gizelle and GiGi for short? I could talk names all day tbh haha! There’s so many nice girls names it’s actually very hard to choose xx
Omg Effie is 😍😍😍 that is added to my list! Thanks you girl!!
We loved Callie that was out girls name but we had a boy and called him Otis 🥰
I know someone who has a little Aroura and calls her Rory for short, really cute name!
I Love that!
I needed this! struggling with baby boy number two's names!
I love hearing other people’s name choices 🥰 I absolutely love Hallie and I think it works so nicely with George and your surname!
I always liked Myla for a girl but not so sure anymore.. it’s so hard! I have a boy called Oscar 🥰
What about Hattie? I absolutely love it and it’s still traditional but a good mix between Hallie and Lottie, it’s definitely versatile 🤍
I had a friend at dance class when I was younger who was a hazel with long blonde hair and blue eyes, I couldn’t imagine her another name Hazel suited her perfect! 😊
Joel is on our baby boy list too😍
I love Hazel I think you should go with it. I don’t think it matters if she doesn’t have brown hair and brown eyes.
My son’s name is Enzo because of Enzo from the vampire diaries 😂😂
I’m an Elena! I pronounce it differently to how you do though 😊
If you like short and pretty names maybe look at floral names? Like Rose, Poppy, Lilly, Violet for example 😊❤️
I have loved Ezra for soooo long! I first heard it watching the film Seven Pounds. It was also the only name my husband and I really liked. Our little one ended up a girl so we opted for Ezri… and we call her Ezzie 😊
my daughter is called Ezra (she's also an Ezzie!) 😊

Also just thought of Eve, Lilah and summer 🙂
I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant with a girl and at the moment we think her name is going to be Rose/Rosie. My husband likes Rose and I like Rosie so her birth certificate would be Rose but she would be known as Rosie.
We have 2 boys Lincoln & Phoenix, I loved the name Evelyn for a girl Evie for short xx
I have a baby called Alfie, and I think if we ever have a girl, we would call her Astrid, April, or Arianna. I think Alfie and Astrid sounds like a trendy clothing brand and I love that 😂
Astrid was on my baby girl list!
We had a boy 😂
Omg my name is Arianna 😅😍🥰 I have NEVER heard someone say they were going to use my name for their little one
@Girl from the village I think it's lovely- first heard it from Harry Potter (Dumbledore's sister). Its a great name
@Jo Grove my mum and dad named me Arianna after the Princess in the Greek mythology story 'Theseus And The Minotaur', Ariadne as they honeymooned in Greece 😊
Congratulations! Abigail is classic and timeless, and would go great with George.
We are due in 4 weeks and haven't found the gender out.
Aurora is one of the names I love for a girl! X
George & Hazel sounds soooo good 😍
Charlotte is lovely and goes so well with George! So is Emmy!
I have a Florence and a Hazel 😄 love your name choices very similar to what we like aswell, love the traditional names but also ones that are slightly unique 😊 my little one Hazel is blonde and very blue eyed 😂 not gonna lie sometimes I do um and arr about it but I can't imagine her called anything different now 🥰❤
Hallie is a lovely name, I have a Harriet but she’s always been Hattie. Same as your thought process, we thought when she’s older she can decide if she wants to be a Harriet or a Hattie! It’s obviously very similar and we get so many compliments on it 🥰 my son is Henry x
My 2 year old little girl is called Lexi, we loved it from day one. I fell pregnant again last year but sadly lost that baby, but names we liked were Roxi or Jax/Jaxon. Can’t wait to keep following your journey! I’ve been watching you ever since you had George for tips/advice with my pregnancy and having a baby/toddler. Keep up the great content Shan! ❤️
Loved this! ❤ I'm the opposite to you, had a girl the first time called Violet and thought it would be another girl...but it's a boy! I really love Joel, Ezra and Jesse too but still completely undecided.
Girls names wise, I think Lily is a really gorgeous, classic name.
Hazel is beautiful too! Alba is also a good one if you like the a sound on either end? Or Anna? Might pass the Ash test 😂
My daughter is havin a baby girl next month she's calling it trixey she has a little boy already an he's called brodie x
I like Zara, and Princess Anne's daughter immediately comes to my mind instead of the store. Maybe Zaira? Love that name.
I love Erin, definitely our number one if we have another girl in the future. We have a one year old called Anna 😊
We have a Daniel and are expecting a girl in March and still haven't picked. It's so hard to commit! On the list at the moment is Bobby, Bonnie, Emily, Alice, Hazel.
I find girls names so difficult as I don’t like girly girl names, a bit like what you were saying but my guilty pleasure name for a girl is sunday. Boys I love are beau, cruz, jax & joel. George and joel would have been lovely
