Ive been playing this way on and off for the past month whenever i get tea bagged excessively for a game. I use surge instead of the pyramid head perk, so you never have to kick. To me i think of it as “well I have played under your rules long enough, time to play around mine” One time got teabagged by a swf with toxic post-game chat. Then requeued up as plague with a variation of this build, and then faced them again. very relaxing to play that build after a toxic game.
Not only is this a better slowdown, but it also negates a lot of bs that Survivors can use only after getting hooked, like DS, DH, OTR, etc. And normally uncounterable sabo builds are useless against this as well.

The new meta will prob be the expose meta imo. I’m currently just running full expose , make your choice , unforeseen , dragons grip,noed (final slot is just whatever u fancy ) The reason I see this being the next meta , it eliminates the amount of hits u need at base u need 24 not counting 2nd chance perks and pallet stuns or flash saves , adding the expose will reduce that percentage and make the snowball more efficient Example 3 people r left 1 is injured on hook the other is healed but fully exposed for 40-60 seconds , its basically 2 free pressure u can hit the one guy then go for the tunnel making the survivor half to pick between the 2 . Clearly the build has its weakness but overall iv been finding this build to be highly effective even at the top level . Slugging isn’t gonna be fun for majority, neither is tunneling or camping , they r trying to appease the majority to much instead of just being honest and saying look we can’t fix everything the game is flawed and it cant be fixed we can help with certain stuff but we cant leave the game for killers where they have only 1 way of playing , cause eventually its just gonna get to the point killers won’t play anymore and the lobbies will take for ever
Dont think it will work. Gens are still fast. You cant bring just one slowdown perk to win. If u want to insta down survivors there is Billy, Myers, Ghostface,Bubba ...
its funny because you dont tunnel or camp playing like this but survivors will still complain lol. gens go too quick sabo is easy to do and uncounterable with the right toolbox and addons all gen regression really sucks these are just some of the issues that i can name im sure others can name more or maybe im crazy
Of course, because you spend up to 4 minutes on the ground, doing f*** all. How many rounds of that would you envision yourself playing? Plus, it just shits on solo queue. Sweats on comms don't give a damn. They arguably benefit from excessive slugging, because when no one ever is on death hook, taking aggro comes at barely any tangible cost. And they can call out positions, while crawling towards strong tiles, rendering Knockout completely useless.. This tactic just punishes soloQ for the most part (read: the survivors, whom you most likely would beat anyway).
@@MightyJabroni i'd argue the hook is the same except you play for less and earn less bloodpoints, i think slugging is the most chill playstyles a killer gets to play no ds no borrowed no shoulder the burden to confuse you, just you and the base game i shouldn't have to count hooks to try and win and i shouldn't have to play against all these anti tunnel when im no even trying to tunnel ( and i normally have to because survivors force value out of ds, bt) (cant say much for solo vs swf, if every game felt like i was playing against a swf id just stop playing ngl playing against swf is just so unfun )

Waiting it out is trivial under most circumstances. And DS and off the record can only be forced by the survivor, as long as they do nothing productive, like healing someone or going for a gen or totem. Any conspicuous action immediately deactivates these perks. So outside of narrow hallways or doorframes, where these survivors can sandbag, you literally would have to hard tunnel them, for these perks to come even into play. I have around 1200 to 1300 hours and have only ever eaten like maybe half a dozen DS. Playing around it is not that hard.
@@MightyJabroni i shouldn't have to wait anything out when im not trying to go for them at all its like old dead hard, just wait it out isn't fun and shouldn't be a thing at all and they can just force it by getting in the way during chase if i wait it out now i lose distance if i hit is till lose distance if i wait it out now all i have is someone with ds on the ground laughing while i wait for the timer the problem is i have to wait when im playing a role that every second counts and its not even going after then to start with ! and sure thats one person doing nothing cool but theres still 2 others on gen while i down the other ! As much as it sucks, the presence of nukes is arguably the chief reason, why no super powers went into open warfare with each other ever since WW2. We had plenty of proxy wars (Ukraine, at heart, is no different). But the nuclear threat has rendered super powers hesitant to tango with each other - something that they have done constantly before. There is a good chance that nukes have saved more lives than they ever took.

Honestly I think he forgot about that era of DBD, and was referring to the more relevant modern DBD. But yes old old DBD was insane. And the funny part is that people would say that stuff was balanced back then lol

That's not really a way for the game to get better. A large number of people stopped playing TCM: The Game after the Danny fiasco last year...and this year? The Devs did it again, with it being even worse this go-around. Just stopping playing would just force the game to die.
the game suffered an enormous population loss (steamcharts after september 2021) + had its growth completely stunted by the introduction of mmr and despite it being poison to what was actually wanted out of the game, they very very stubbornly stuck with it and insisted it was good for the game given how big of a knife in the heart that was (it's quite literally the difference of tens of thousands of peak players, for years now) and that it didn't change their minds..
Sadly, it's the survivors that make the changes happen. We are in the player-survey balancing era of DBD, as soon as survivors start to mature, which of course they won't, this is how it's gonna be for awhile if not forever lol.
@@Evalora Sbmm actually is good for the game, the problem is they stopped putting survivors with the appropriate team. If you were good at survivor the system would actually put you with a decent solo team ensuring the success of the system. But of course, people smurfed and it really hurt the bottom end which explains the state of the game, here we are, we don't have anyone who could properly run the system aka Patrick. At this point since the game is the worst it's ever been I recommend they bring back the emblem system, make everything region-based or you face as close to you as possible. I gotta say survivors destroyed this game, they are extremely immature.
