🌞Yeah, you still have time down here to get it good and established. That Arden15 came in pretty fast. Keep it rollin'! Great video!! Your wife did great at the end!
Great job fellow Arden 15 lawn buddy👏👏👏👏 I like the part when you said " set it and forget it" that's old school, 😂😂😂I said that in a video once and no one caught it 🤷♂️ great job so far keep it up glad to see more people showing success with this seed and showing there progress cause a lot of people been talking bad about the seed and how poor it does but it's not the seed 🤭
Lol 🤣 yeah it's old school, but yeah 90% of the time it's the water for the failures then this good ole seed catches the bad babe for it. I'm going to show it off😎👍💪
I’m doing a Arden 15 Bermuda grow in as well. I’m in Fayetteville NC. I’m about 6 weeks in. I got a lot of weeds though. I’m pumping it with carbon x. Using a Jacobsen Greenking reel mower. Gonna hit it with some Quicksilver this weekend to try and kill some of these weeds. Love your channel!
Based on the havoc that ensued when I waited on taking care of fungus patches, I would suggest that you start a fungus program now and not wait. Other than that, keep up the good work.
Looks great man- about to do the same to my backyard. Either Arden or Yukon. I know you can mow Arden short but what would be the upper end for height- 2” or so? Asking bc I don’t have a reel mower yet and I know my yard isn’t the most level. Also, looks like you have a decent size yard there- how many sqft are you reel mowing, how often, and how long does it take each reel mow?
What part of Mississippi are you from? I'm in mobile and I'm getting ready to do the same exact renovation to mine . I'm wanting to seed in may after all the April rain. May is typically pretty dry and hot.
I am trying to start my backyard over and will use Arden 15. I have been trying to kill all of the grass and weeds but was not successful in killing all of them just 95% of it. I jave ordered topsoil and will put in 1 inch depth on top of my 95% dead grass and weeds. Do you think the 5% grass and weeds that survived will hinder the growth of the seeds? Thanks.
@@YardEnvy thanks for responding. I had put my seeds down 3 weeks ago. They grow but I am worried because some of them are turning purple. I am not sure what is going on. I live in NC and the weather here has been inconsistent. Do you think I should put some of the remaining Sta Green starter fertilizer on my newly grown seeds? Do you think it would help? Any suggestions? Thanks.
You forgot to tell us when you seeded, Aug 21st but that is when you uploaded the video, on the next one you mention it is 21 days since seeding day and that video was uploaded Aug 27th. We dont know how long you waited. Im the 3rd person asking when
What month did you start seeding? Or is there a month you can suggest to start? I am in central California with really hot summers, but apparently bermuda can be seeding Apr thru August
Your lawn is looking great! Where did you get your Arden 15 from? I was thinking of doing an over seed next year to help blend my existing lawn with the new Tiffway sod I laid. It was recommended that I use Arden 15 as the color would be a good match. Love the videos!
Thank you! Seed world. I put a link in the description. This stuff germinates in like 5 days with the right temps. Good stuff. It can also be cut down to 5 mm.👍
Hey have you ever had a problem with one of those little scarifier teeth things falling out? I had one fall out and looking to see the best way to fix it
Can't wait for the updates on this!! Great ending with the Mrs!
Thank you, and thanks for watching Ketan!
So glad to see green again! 😊
Me too!!!
Seeding turned out pretty dang good!!
Yeah I was completely surprised!! Thanks for watching Don👍

Thanks brother lol I call it what it is 😂😂

Thank you James! I'm worried about putting any herbicides on it since the grass is so young. I may even wait until next year on mine.

I’ve done a lot of research and evidently Quicksilver is safe for newly seeded Bermuda. I’ll let you know how it turns out. Pray for me lol
Will do brother. I'll be waiting on your update lol
awesome video, i like the music haha, i just overseeded my bermuda 6 days ago, i have great germination
Thanks static!! Hope you have good success with your over seeding. What did you over seed with?
Man !
21 days !! Must be the heat over there , great job dude 👍
At least I don’t have to worry about watering over here 😂🇬🇧
Yeah we are having heat indexes of 100 to 105° f or 40°c for you 😉. Thanks for the support from across the pond 🇬🇧🤝🇺🇸
Look at you, 21 days and a glass of ice tea..... Man!
😎👍💪💪💪
Mighty cute little woman there!
Yeah she is pretty cute 😍😍

I already treated the fungus in the next video lol

Yes Arden will look great at 2". I have 7000 sqft in my main yard and it takes me about 40 min.

Should be fine but need to kill everything a few times before putting down new seed

@@YardEnvy your yard is truly going to be the envy of the neighborhood!
I have about 10k square ft to do in south west Florida I'm going by your videos let you know how it turns out thank you
How did it go?
Hey have you ever had a problem with one of those little scarifier teeth things falling out? I had one fall out and looking to see the best way to fix it
I had one almost come out but I just stretched out back out and pushed it back in. I'll talk with Allett and see if they sell new replacement springs.
I'm researching perennial rye varieties for overseeding now. what are thinking about using?
Look back in my videos and you can see what I used last year. It was a 3G perennial from seedsuperstore.Com
