Crops like mung beans belong to miscellaneous grains in my hometown.
Generally planted by the paddy field, although there is unnecessary management, the harvest is good.
In addition to making mung bean soup, the most common method of mung bean is to grow bean sprouts.
The taste of bean sprouts is crisp, and there are many ways to cook, this time I made Maoxuewang and Fried Rice Noodles.

一般種在稻田邊，不需要特別的去管理，收成也不錯
綠豆的做法，除了做綠豆湯，最常見的就是用它來發豆芽啦
豆芽的口感爽脆，吃法也是花樣眾多
這次做了毛血旺和炒河粉

Fifty years ago, when I got my first taste of asian qusine, my mom introduced me to bean sprouts. Ever since then, I have either requested bean sprouts to be added to my take out meal. And, when I learned to make Chinese food myself, I put them into the dish. Thanks fo the video . . . and the fond memories.

I grow many types of bean and cow peas in my garden. Mung beans are so cheap here it’s not worth growing to use for sprouts. I buy a kilo for less than $5 for organic ones. We have to pay for water use, so that would cost more than the seed costs to buy. I’m so scattered that I used to forget to water the sprouts, so my family bought me a sprouting appliance. I plug it in, add the soaked beans to the trays and add water. Then I only have to remember to change water daily. It waters them every 15 minutes all day. It’s lovely. It makes a lot of bean sprouts. I can grow more than one type at a time, too.
I think that the appliance was made in China🤣☺️. It’s lovely. I can make alfalfa sprouts, mung bean sprouts and pea sprouts all at the same time.
