She always wanted to be equal. She never wanted to be superior or inferior to her brothers. This is how a good female character is written. They just don't make games like this. And this is relatively recent.
Love how they didn’t take the skeevy route here with the only female protagonist in a fight against Lust. To lust for something has to do with more than merely sex.
Damn, I completely missed Lust casually outing Envy on my first playthrough, I knew the watcher wasn't our friend but still to think Lust made direct eye contact while calling her a coward is insane.
When i first picked up this game i totally thought fury was just going to be kind of a one sided character. This scene made my jaw drop. Perfect delivery, insanely cool one liner🔥🔥🔥
I like the fact it wa style kneeling that ticked her off like they fact they did was a insult to her kind and her in which it would be as nephilem were likely too proud for that and seeing it just must have felt like lust said you’re low enough to kneel to another in which she herself as a neo Helen knew was not the case
It was all of them kneeling that pissed her off. She always saw them as equal and never her inferior or her superior. They were the only surviving Nephilim and they were her family or something closest to it. That's why she was furious when Lust made them act like they were her servants.
Even setting aside the fact that they knelt (they would never) the way they were acting and speaking was off. Really off. I literally said they were fake the minute Strife opened his mouth. Edit: It’s also hella criminal that Michael Wincott wasn’t brought back as Death’s voice actor. I understand he only says a few lines, but it felt weird not hearing his voice from 2. Strife sounds different too, but I guess this was before Genesis. They were probably playing around with how they wanted him to sound, and they nailed it when it dropped imo.

Strifes voice in darksiders genesis is so much better

I like Fury. She is no Death, but still a solid protag. Her character development, althoug a bit rushed, feels natural.
Shame the original voice actor for death wasn't in this
This boss fight gave me the most trouble out of all of them. Lusts super sharp and quick movements made dodging her a nightmare
@damondusklight yeah Lusts attacks were hard for me to read. Havoc form was mvp on the second phase :D
Lust was originally a man with a "seductive" voice. And, for SoMe reason, they later claimed it's actually a "they/them".
