You can even see 2 blue lights, that's from the jet engine on his back which was not edited out or changed in the slightest and you even see megatron rise let alone his jets

One thing I didn’t like about The Last Knight is that the Dinobots didn’t get to do a lot. After being introduced in the previous film, they were unfairly put on the back burner.
Even despite the failure of Bay's universe, these films were able to raise billions of dollars, make special era and gave some of the most amazing soundtracks. For me personally, transformers ended on the third film, although the fourth is also good, but the fifth is too far for me. And it's unclear why he decided to take IDW comics as a basis. But still, this journey gave us a boost towards the original Transformers universe.
It was cool that Frank Welker filled in the voice of Megatron in this film, about time too. Hugo Weaving was great as his voice but the OG VA is unmatched.
Hey Tim Fun fact: Barricade who is that decepticon that turns into a police car is actually the same decepticon from the first Transformers movie where he fought with Bumblebee. He also appears in Transformers 3 Dark of The Moon but he actually dies in the movie. But then he somehow manages to appear in this movie. Another Fun Fact: Megatron is once again voice by Frank Welker original voice actor of Megatron from the 80s
I have seen Transformers 5 The Last Knight before and back when it was released in theaters. I liked the 5th film but the major problem with is the reviews. I enjoyed either way and I always enjoy watching the michael bay Transformers films very much and keep up the great reaction videos up to date. Speaking of Transformers here's a cool little bit of info there's an animated series of Transformers called Transformers Beast Wars & it aired back in 1996 oh yeah & it has the Gorilla transformer that's been shown in the trailers for the newest live action movie

Cybertron is back even though it was destroyed in the previous movies, Galvatron is somehow Megatron again, and for no reason Transformers we’re in the same time period as King Arthur. Not to mention the annoying change of aspect ratios. The previous movies may have been good, but trust me. This movie made the franchise die down.
I mean, there are videos explaining how galvatron became megaton again. But I do agree, this wasn't a great movie. And to be fair to Bay, I'm pretty sure he intended on only making 3, but some higher up thought it was making a lot of money so he was pretty much forced into making more
Tim in case you dont know the new transformers movie is a reboot which started since bunblebee movie. So dont expect continuity from this movie to the rise of the beasts one.
This is the last of the Bayverse. After this movie the franchise rebooted with Bumblebee, which is the beginning of a new continuity unrelated to this or any of the previous movies.
I'm glad you seemed to find some enjoyment from this film. Sadly as a long time TF fan this movie was a huge slap in the face with a fish left in the sun for a day. From the blatant continuity ignoring, the self contradictions, and worst of all the tragic waste of actual good plot points like the Knights and the character of Nemesis Prime, who had largely (as in I don't think it was ever done otherwise) always been an evil clone or twisted copy of Optimus with all his core personality traits inverted, so where Optimus is Merciful, Nemesis is Merciless, where Optimus is Compassionate, Nemesis is Heartless. Then again Bayverse Prime has basically been acting very Nemesis like since RotF with ripping faces off.
So, (continuing on with what I usually do, with all your reactions to these movies), remember how last time, I said that in this film, we sorta get closure to what had happened to the Autobot Topspin? Ok, so, remember how Agent Simmons in this movie is now retired in Cuba? Well, in a couple of scenes in Cuba, we see an Autobot hanging out with Simmons, who's blue, and plays Volleyball. People have actually speculated this is Topspin. Their bodys' designs match up, and they're both blue. And more interestingly, Topspin here, instead of having the head he had in DOTM, has a head that looks exactly like the one Leadfoot, the red leader of the Wreckers, had. So people have theories maybe Topspin was badly injured, and so to help repair himself, he took parts from Leadfoot's head. So, towards the start, the Autobots were hiding out in a Junkyard, those Autobots being Bumblebee, Hound, Drift, Crosshairs, the 4 Dinobots, the baby dinobots, and Daytrader. However, there was one other Autobot as well. At one point, Hound is instructed to defend the junkyard and hold off Megatron and his crew as the others escape. However, there was one other Autobot also tasked with this; Trench. He transformed into a yellow CAT Excavator. And as you saw Hound prepare to defend the Junkyard, you see him transform into robot mode. But after this, he never appears again. However, it's assumed that he was most likely killed by Megatron and his crew when they attacked the junkyard. But more interestingly, people have theorised what his background may be. In both Revenge of the Fallen, and Dark of the Moon, we see one of the constructicons consistently appear in the final battle. And, he has almost the exact same design as trench, and essentially transforms into the same vehicle. However in the final battle of DOTM, when Optimus swoops in and starts slicing at the Decepticons, we see this constructicon get cut down by Optimus. So people have theories by TLK, he was still badly wounded and went to the Autobots' junkyard for help. And when they repaired him, to show his gratitude, he defected to the Autobots and changed his name to Trench
I personally think both AGE OF EXTINCTION and THE LAST KNIGHT are extremely underrated, and are actually good movies even if they have flaws (but all movies do )

I love the first movie, the second and third still seem good to me, the only thing I enjoy about the fourth is the battles, actually the only one I don't like at all is this fifth movie, then we have the Bumblebee spinoff/remake, perhaps the only objectively good movie in the entire franchise.

@@dannyjp-diego2938 I don't know about that, tf5 had the most complicated lore but it was really enjoyable, especially the variation of personalities the transformers had in it, as well as the music and CGI were top tier. To be honest the main problem with this movie had to be the continuation problem, since the already established lore in tf1, 2 and 3 puts a l9t of limitations to what this movie added which straight up created a mess 😅
TLK is the lowest ranked TF movie for me as there are a lot of problems with it. Although there are still some good action scenes. First off, one of the problems of this movie is that it contridicts stuff that were established in previous movies. The whole thing with transformers being on earth since prehistoric times totally contridicts the first movie as that was the first time when transformers arrived on earth. Another problem I had when watching this movie is the constant aspect ratio changes that serve no purpose at all. Also with the connection between cybertron and earth was not really explained very well. In my opinion, Transformers Prime (one of the tv series) did a much better job in explaining the cybertron-earth connection. In the show, they explained how the struggle between creation and destruction led to the pasts of earth and cybertron are always linked. Primus aka Cybertron was the one that created the 13 original Primes to battle and defeat Unicron, which they did. Unicron was cast out and drifted in space until it got into our solar system where the earth formed around the Unicron. In the original TF tv series; the G1 cartoon, Unicron is a planet-sized eating monster that destroys planets to keep himself alive. Unfortunately, this movie marks the end of the bayverse transformers. Bumblebee will be a new rebooted universe with most of the transformers resembling their G1 counterparts. From what I can see on yt, there are not really a lot of content creators reacting to the Transformers tv series (maybe I'm wrong) but honestly saying some of them are really good and they should be given the chance. Some of them I recommend watching are: Transformers G1, Beast Wars/Beast Machines Transformers, Transformers Prime, Transformers Armada,Transformers Energon, Transformers Cybertron and Transformers Animated. Transformers is not about all action if u really pay close attention enough they are some really deep lore behind it.
Watching this movie was like a fever dream. It had enjoyable moments but it's too long and introduces way too many new characters. No spoilers, of course, but 2 and this one are the only Transformers movies I don't like. The new one is better than this too.
Ooh. It’s THE movie that ruined what was left of Transformers directed by Michael Bay. Difficult to watch especially after the way Sam Witwicky was subtly mentioned where he supposedly died according to Anthony Hopkins’ character Burton as being the “last living member.” I seriously doubt that’s what happened to him and Sam is probably in hiding. Well. At least total redemption will be found in the 2018 spin-off prequel Bumblebee!
Aoe didn't flop. It made 1 billion dollars at box office. I can say I liked it. Tlk had a bad screenwriting because of how some scenes were making no sense at all. Michael Bay didn't write the story though. It's true he agreed on it, but it's not 100% his fault. The movie was set to be longer, but some parts were cut because Paramount wanted to, not Bay or the crew. Probably that is why some scenes don't make sense regarding continuity or chronological order or whatever.

Age of Extinction didn’t flop as it made over $1.1 billion worldwide. The Last Knight was the one that flopped as it took a huge collapse from its predecessor domestically and worldwide, therefore killing Michael Bay’s Transformers.
I love Transformers, but The Last Knight was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen in my life. I almost walked out of the theater. Everything about it was so terrible. Thank God Michael Bay isn’t doing any more Transformers movies.
Rise of the beasts and bumblebee do not continue the Bay movies story as bumblebee and rise of the beasts is a seperate continuity and it seems they are never going to finish the Bay movies story

I can find ways to make sense of the continuity issues in all the previous films but this one just cranks them to 11 and there's no reconciling any of it. You can't do it. Why does Prime act like he doesn't know what happened to Cybertron? He was there in Dark of the Moon. He hasn't heard Bumblebee's voice since Cybertron fell? What about the first movie when he speaks at the end? Earth is Unicron?? Yeah...that makes NO sense. And don't even get me started on the nonsense about all these characters having been here for centuries. The visuals are amazing as usual but this one is so bad. I just pretend it didn't happen and stop at Age of Extinction as far as the Bay movies go..

The film that killed the Michael Bay era of Transformers, but it's a relief that Bumblebee restored faith in the franchise.

The only thing that he fears is Primus's essence, contained inside the Matrix of Leadership. To a being of chaos and uncreation, this font of life is a poison.
Frequently, Unicron will make deals with lesser beings, promising them vast new powers in exchange for their servitude. These minions are sometimes stripped entirely of free will, but others follow willingly. Service to Unicron, however, is a double-edged sword, for it causes insanity and loss of self. I love the first movie, the second and third still seem good to me, the only thing I enjoy about the fourth is the battles, actually the only one I don't like at all is this fifth movie, then we have the Bumblebee spinoff/remake, perhaps the only objectively good movie in the entire franchise.

That’s the only thing I don’t like about this fifth movie is the aspect ratio keeps changing as zooming in and out.

I don't know about that, tf5 had the most complicated lore but it was really enjoyable, especially the variation of personalities the transformers had in it, as well as the music and CGI were top tier.
To be honest the main problem with this movie had to be the continuation problem, since the already established lore in tf1, 2 and 3 puts a l9t of limitations to what this movie added which straight up created a mess 😅

look I love this movie despite it's flaws, for me if they had made it shorter it would have been just a fun silly movie
TLK is the lowest ranked TF movie for me as there are a lot of problems with it. Although there are still some good action scenes. First off, one of the problems of this movie is that it contridicts stuff that were established in previous movies. The whole thing with transformers being on earth since prehistoric times totally contridicts the first movie as that was the first time when transformers arrived on earth. Another problem I had when watching this movie is the constant aspect ratio changes that serve no purpose at all. Also with the connection between cybertron and earth was not really explained very well.
In my opinion, Transformers Prime (one of the tv series) did a much better job in explaining the cybertron-earth connection. In the show, they explained how the struggle between creation and destruction led to the pasts of earth and cybertron are always linked. Primus aka Cybertron was the one that created the 13 original Primes to battle and defeat Unicron, which they did. Unicron was cast out and drifted in space until it got into our solar system where the earth formed around the Unicron.
In the original TF tv series; the G1 cartoon, Unicron is a planet-sized eating monster that destroys planets to keep himself alive.
Unfortunately, this movie marks the end of the bayverse transformers. Bumblebee will be a new rebooted universe with most of the transformers resembling their G1 counterparts.
From what I can see on yt, there are not really a lot of content creators reacting to the Transformers tv series (maybe I'm wrong) but honestly saying some of them are really good and they should be given the chance. Some of them I recommend watching are: Transformers G1, Beast Wars/Beast Machines Transformers, Transformers Prime, Transformers Armada,Transformers Energon, Transformers Cybertron and Transformers Animated.
Transformers is not about all action if u really pay close attention enough they are some really deep lore behind it.

Watching this movie was like a fever dream. It had enjoyable moments but it's too long and introduces way too many new characters. No spoilers, of course, but 2 and this one are the only Transformers movies I don't like. The new one is better than this too.
Ooh. It’s THE movie that ruined what was left of Transformers directed by Michael Bay. Difficult to watch especially after the way Sam Witwicky was subtly mentioned where he supposedly died according to Anthony Hopkins’ character Burton as being the “last living member.” I seriously doubt that’s what happened to him and Sam is probably in hiding.
Well. At least total redemption will be found in the 2018 spin-off prequel Bumblebee!

Aoe didn't flop. It made 1 billion dollars at box office. I can say I liked it. Tlk had a bad screenwriting because of how some scenes were making no sense at all. Michael Bay didn't write the story though. It's true he agreed on it, but it's not 100% his fault. The movie was set to be longer, but some parts were cut because Paramount wanted to, not Bay or the crew. Probably that is why some scenes don't make sense regarding continuity or chronological order or whatever.

Age of Extinction didn’t flop as it made over $1.1 billion worldwide. The Last Knight was the one that flopped as it took a huge collapse from its predecessor domestically and worldwide, therefore killing Michael Bay’s Transformers.

I love Transformers, but The Last Knight was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen in my life. I almost walked out of the theater. Everything about it was so terrible. Thank God Michael Bay isn’t doing any more Transformers movies.
Rise of the beasts and bumblebee do not continue the Bay movies story as bumblebee and rise of the beasts is a seperate continuity and it seems they are never going to finish the Bay movies story

I can find ways to make sense of the continuity issues in all the previous films but this one just cranks them to 11 and there's no reconciling any of it. You can't do it. Why does Prime act like he doesn't know what happened to Cybertron? He was there in Dark of the Moon. He hasn't heard Bumblebee's voice since Cybertron fell? What about the first movie when he speaks at the end? Earth is Unicron?? Yeah...that makes NO sense. And don't even get me started on the nonsense about all these characters having been here for centuries. The visuals are amazing as usual but this one is so bad. I just pretend it didn't happen and stop at Age of Extinction as far as the Bay movies go..
